Rotten food. Really really really bad wouldnt eat there if it was free for life lol. Im amazed people eat there at all. Rice was horrible the worst rice hands down in my life. Pepper steak was rotten. Hibatchi meat half rotten. Fortune cookies so stale they were rubber. The water was the only thing there that was good lmao. Yes, they do have a lot of things on their buffet however most of the items are filler items, so for the price of the buffet it's not worth it. Also, everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. I arrived right after they opened so it's not like it had been sitting there all day. For what I tasted the food tasted fine, but again, everything was cold. They charge extra on Sunday, when I was there, and I will never make that mistake again because I'm paying extra for what they call a "dinner buffet" but it didn't look much different than a regular buffet. Well... This was disappointing. Either I hit them on an off night, or this place is not worth your time or money. I love a good Chinese buffet... This is not that!!, Poor sushi selection. What they did have was soggy. I tried most of what was on the buffet and found it to be cool or like warm, unless you catch them as they bring it out. Hibachi Grill is my favorite MSG bar in town. It is nicer and has more variety of foods than the one on Irby, Im giving Hibachi Grill 4 stars because its the best Chinese buffet in the vicinity. This is one of the buffets that has so much food and its only $9.99 for adults and $5.99 for kids. Service is very friendly. The buffet has everything you looking for. I would go back there if i would live there. The only bad part i would say is that the furniture looks old. Other than that perfect place to dine out with the entire family and pay not much for all the food. read more

All u can eat sushi for 8 bucks, it's no Michelin 5 star. Always get a fresh roll. I have enjoyed all 5 or so times I have been.

A really bad experience. Food sits out for long periods of time. Because its a massive buffet, patrons put their hands on food, switch serving utensils in entrees, sneeze and cough over items. We opted for the hibachi bar and while waiting a lady in the line in front of my wife attempted to separate two very thinly sliced raw ribeyes to put on her plate to hand to the hibachi chef. Having trouble, she picked both up with a set of tongs and shook them, fairly vigorously. The result was blood spatters all over my wife's white shirt. Bad idea to let customers pile their own raw meat on a plate to hand to the chef. read more

I LOVE this place. They have a wonderful selection at the bar but the real draw is the hibachi and sushi bar in the back. Their sushi is very delicious. I do wish they'd have a larger selection of nigiri (slice of meat on top of rice) and maki (the kind that is rolled up in a circle) and that they wouldn't drizzle the sauce over so many of them. The sushi is very fresh and well-made. The hibachi grill is wonderful... you get to make your own meal and the selection is vast enough to cover anyone's preferences. The food on the bar, while second to the hibachi, is good as well. I love the honey chicken and there's a nice mix of asian and western style food for the less adventurous or picky eaters. read more

Everything here is just decent. I suggest it, but if you've got the choice, I say got to the other hibachi on Irby. The sushi doesn't really live up to what I've come to expect. The food selection is great but usually a little messy. Not blaming the employees. It's the customers. This location is by the mall which brings in a lot of kids who are pretty careless. If this was a few months ago, I would have given this place at least 4 stars. They have a wide selection of tasty Chinese/Japanese food and some American food, and overall it is a good buffet restaurant close to the freeways. Their sushi could be better but in Florence I am thankful for them having sushi in the menu. But I went there recently, and alas, I found they changed the rice they use. If I remember correctly, they used to use good quality rice, close to that of sushi rice or good quality jasmine. Now, they use this 'puffy' rice that takes like really low-grade long grain. Rice is the foundation of all Asian food. I am very sad... I hope they will reconsider the choice of rice. And like another reviewer commented, I would like to see a tofu item... It is a good buffet overall despite this recent change and I will still keep going there. read more

My expectations were pretty low considering its location,but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of items offered on the numerous buffet bars. Our favourites included the beef and shrimp hibachi cooked to order, chicken on a stick, honey chicken, and the sugar biscuits. I don't have a problem with the food, they are still the better choice for china buffet around Florence and the sushi like the other said is quite good when you can get it when it just freshly made, my problem yesterday their sushi chef actually yelling at me in probably Chinese because I tried to pick and choose the sushi that I fancy looking a little bit fresher than the other, He even throw something (can't remember what was it)..dude!!!....what you gonna do if you serve at NOBU?...kill me??.....will be a while for me to get back there to eat read more
