    Soba noodles

This location only does take-out. To be honest it would be easier to call in your order and pick-up. However, you can walk up to the glass doors and they will take your order just the same. So, as far as COVID19 protocol, they do not allow for you to come into the building or to dine in. However, no one had a mask on inside (the cook or other staff members). We didn't notice until after ordering and looking around. Being that they were behind glass, that would be a call on your own if you believe it to be acceptable or not. From the order to pickup - 15mins. Nothing outside of the norm. We ordered the following tonight: - Hibachi Steak with Broccoli, Onions, Zucchini and Rice - Tempura Chicken (4 bites of chicken, 1 onion ring, 1 Broccoli, and 1 slice of Zucchini) - Crab Rangoon (2 pieces) - Soba Noodle 4 white sauce cups came with the meal 1 cup of sweet teriyaki sauce for dipping We enjoyed everything tonight! Nothing was overcooked or greasy. All was fresh and piping hot! There was plenty in of steak within the Hibachi Steak plate. My only complaint, the cut of meat. There were big cuts of FAT in the mix. Now, for some that might not matter, but for me - nah...let's not. Soba noodles were good and soft. Nothing really to write home about - but a lot better than some I have been too. BUT those crab rangoons! Oh man, they are sooo good! Not to sweet, just the right amount of cheese to imitation crab meat ratio. We love that they roll them like a spring roll instead of the normal triangle. ***If you have ever burned your mouth with LAVA cheese coming out of a freshly cooked rangoon - then you would understand the appreciation here** The tempura was crispy and light. Only complaint, the slices of some of the veggies should be thinner. We got a HUGE chunk of Zucchini that was well uncomfortable to try an bite, you had to cut it up to enjoy it. I believe you got enough white sauce to get the job done, my family believes differently. They stated they were "stingy" with the sauce especially if you going to put it on the rice. Sidenote: the fried rice isn't anything fancy - just white rice fried with some soy sauce.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by my first experience here. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered at counter. Hibachi Chicken White Meat with Zucchini, Onion, Broccoli and Rice that included a drink was like eight bucks...ten with tip. Love that they have four sauces to pump into little cups...a white one (watered down mayo), ginger sauce, a mustard one and hot sauce. I found them all to be useful with the otherwise bland food. Freshly cooked though...simple and good. Especially when mixed with the sauces. Space is limited, but still more than nearby choices. They have tables and booths here. Take in or get it to go. They were quick. Sanitation is a nice 95.5. Note you can get steak, shrimp, dark meat chicken as well as white...tempura dishes...they have a nice variety.

This is pretty good express Japanese eats, folks. Good Hibachi food, quick service, and SELF-SERVE white sauce!! I've gotten the chicken and shrimp Hibachi, so can't speak to anything else. Plenty of food, and good...at a good price. They have a TV and some inside seating. The couple times I've been here, it hasn't been too crowded. They're located in a strip mall which can be difficult to get in/out of on Wake Forest Rd, but it's okay if you can turn right and go towards the beltway or go to the other end of the shopping area and go out by the traffic light.

The first time I came here for dinner, the place is kind of 'Take out'restaurant. It served good food and it is good price as well. I ordered Hibachi salmon adding shrimp, it is so yummy. The staff is friendly and nice. I recommand for the place.

Found a thick black hair in my food today. Will not be coming back. Do not eat here. The food is bland, the white sauce is runny and there's mold in the ice machine.

Inedible - had to throw away!

We were seated in the lobby area seating area for the restaurant right away. Danielle was our awesome server. We started with water, wine & garlic edamame. This spot is good for a fancy date night! My husband opted for the lunch special, which included soup, salad, curry, and a side of sushi. He absolutely raved about the curry. I chose the fish wontons alongside the Raleigh roll, which was exceptional; the addition of mango on top was perfect with the lobster tempura for me. I am also always appreciative when a sushi place can accommodate my addiction to add cream cheese to any roll- they made it work! Service was prompt and attentive. The green tea leaned slightly earthy for my taste, but it did little to detract from an otherwise outstanding meal. I would gladly return and recommend this spot to groups seeking high-quality sushi in a polished setting.

I was told to sit wherever I wanted, and since they weren't busy due to the off-time, I chose a booth. Ordered the chicken and scallops combo, plus green tea and water. I had to ask for ginger sauce, but the yum yum sauce had already been put on the table in a squeeze bottle. Everything was perfectly cooked, plentiful and yummy. I would probably not order the scallops again because the flavor and texture were more fish-like than scallop like. Loved the chicken and all the veggies. Fried rice was good as well. Didn't have anything added to it, but it didn't need to. Even though I ate a lot, I still took home enough for another delicious meal. Would definitely go back, especially considering how inexpensive it was.

Located in a shopping center, it was easy to get to with ample parking. The restaurant was fairly empty so we were seated as soon as we walked in. I was surprised to see such a large and comprehensive menu of both Japanese and Thai options, and honestly it could stand to either be slimmed or organized differently. So many pages of small print text made it hard to narrow down choices, and even some pictures could have helped here. We ended up with a variety of sushi, an appetizer, and a noodle dish. One of the big things here is the BOGO sushi offerings, which is certainly appealing for a value and variety standpoint. We made sure to order enough to maximize the discount, though it's important to remember they apply the discount to the cheapest items. One other weird quirk is they will only honor the BOGO for a single check, so if you're with a group and want to split checks this becomes a problem. Our group chose to have a single check and paid each other directly instead to make sure we got the discount. All of the food was pretty good. The sushi offerings were perfectly decent though nothing remarkable, but the value to quality balance needs to be taken into account. The restaurant itself could use a bit of work, since between hard chairs, lots of black and red paint, and mostly empty seats it didn't feel super inviting. Overall a decent option and I'd consider coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.
