The food was great! They give you plenty rice and meat for price. A little too many vegetables in my opinion, but that's just personal preference. The vibe is nice, workers are friendly and attentive. I def enjoyed the food, and will be back again!

I can't bash them, but to say I've had better sushi is an understatement. Quite simply, they are the only spot who will deliver when I'm feeling lazy, so I'm thankful to have them. Such as it is. I was trying to cut back on extraneous input, so I ordered the plain noodles, thinking they'd be just that - plain. They were, however, slathered in some kind of soy sauce mixture. "Plain" must just mean "no shrimp or whatever" to them. Okay fine. The Crunchy and Eel sushi rolls were ultimately uninspired but adequate. I didn't dislike them. I'll say it again - I'm thankful to have Hibachi Bowl as they deliver. It's like being stranded in a desert with a little battery-powered fan. You're kinda glad to have the fan. Such as it is. What hurt the most was the dyed pink ginger and mushy wasabi paste. Those are two dead on red flags screaming in your face like a maniacal army drill sergeant. When a Japanese place serves you those, you know you've made a mistake. It's the hallmark of cheapness. Did I mention that I was thankful? A.

For the amount of food you get, you can't beat the lunch specials! I personally like the noodles, but the lunch comes with rice and free tea!

Flavorful, filling Japanese food. We ordered pick-up from here for dinner. The order was accurate and ready upon arrival. They have pick-up and delivery options available and have precautions in place related to COVID-19. You can call in an order or order online. The portions are reasonable to large. We ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp udon. We enjoyed our food and would order from here again!

The hibachi steak and shrimp is great. So much flavor even without the white sauce! Amazing quantity!

The broth had great depth, the spice provided a nice kick, loved all the different toppings but I do think there could have been more pork. - Tonkatsu Ramen (Signature rich pork broth, pork belly, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, green onion, 1/2 seasoned soft-boiled egg, thin straight noodles): Same great broth as the tan tan, chashu was perfectly fatty and tender, liked all the toppings again. The noodles themselves didn't really stand out to me. - Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box (Dashimaki, shrimp shumai, salad, pickles, rice, miso soup): Ehh... this was fine, but I'd definitely skip it next time. For the price, the quantity and quality of everything but maybe the chicken (which was smoky but way too sweet) was lackluster. - Chicken Curry Don (Panko breaded chicken cutlet, Japanese-style curry sauce, potato, carrot, onion, nori): The chicken was crispy, but quantity was so small. Curry was tasty, but inadequately warmed. - Raindrop (Plant-based ice jelly, brown sugar syrup, soybean powder): Such a unique dessert- ofc the visual is great, but the texture was interesting and it was subtly sweet too. Ambiance is nice, but the space is pretty small. Service was fast and friendly. There's plentiful parking. 7.5/10 would recommend!

The shredded chicken was tender and generously portioned, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, jammy yolk. A friend ordered the Spicy Tan Tan, and I tried a few bites. Flavor-wise, it was excellent -- rich, bold, and deeply savory -- but it was extremely spicy. Definitely delicious, just something to be aware of if you're sensitive to heat. We also shared a hand roll, which was a great addition. Fresh, well made, and nicely balanced, with good quality fish and seasoned rice. A solid bite to have alongside the ramen. Overall, everything was filling and genuinely delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh, portions were generous, and the flavors were thoughtfully done. We had the spicy miso ramen that sported a lot of chicken and a delicious broth. Very bold yet balanced flavors. As for the three hand roll set that we ordered we found out we are not real fans of hand rolls. I should have looked up what makes a hand roll a hand roll. (It's the nori, the seaweed wrapper, that sets it apart in the world of sushi.) The salmon, yellowfin tuna, and crab were so fresh that they tasted fishy to us. Again, I believe it's user error that this dish didn't fly with us. We used the soy sauce mixed with wasabi to disguise the fishy taste. Lesson learned.

A nice perk of this spot is that it's just a stone's throw away from free and plentiful lot parking. I'd make a reservation if you plan to come here on a weekend for dinner. The place was bustling, with almost all the tables full. It's bright, airy and modern looking inside. Which makes it the perfect place for a date night or celebration spot. At the same time, it's not stuffy or overly fancy. The menu is comprehensive with Thai favorites like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew with a large number of Japanese and Sushi items on the back. My friends tried the Thai Spicy level and I will say it was pleasantly hot without burning your tongue off. I ordered the bento box and was really happy with the quality of the sashimi and nigiri. Everything was tasty, and the portions were more than satisfying. If I had to make a nit on something that I didn't love (it's hard!), I'd say that the rice texture wasn't my favorite. It was a little dry. But other than that, I would definitely consider it for another night out.

Holy!! We had expectations from all of the recommendations, but what a complete disappointment…read more First let's start with the only positive-- the waitress and her service was perfect. She was so kind and was the absolute best part of our visit. She gave a range recommendations, very professional, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the meal. We are coming from the Irvine, CA area so we VERY familiar with top tier Asian food and possibly that impacted our standards vs others in the review section. Now on to the rest, there were so many flies that I ended up having to smash them on the window with a napkin--just gross! Then, my son's food was not flavored well at all and had HAIR in his noodles! The Pad Thai was really bad! It was a lighter color first of all, so maybe they added an ingredient that isn't standard in traditional Pad Thai, but it did not make it better at all; I could barely stomach it. Then, there was a huge egg shell in the dish that somehow the cook let come out and served to us. The sweet and sour chicken portion was outrageously small for a dinner portion, and the dish was smothered with sauce but somehow the chicken was dry as if it was day old or several days old chicken. The cashew chicken, the same, dry chicken that was being covered up with the sauce and we had to chew a great deal. The sweet tea, it just tasted like they put a bunch of sugar packets in and was worse than a McDonald's sweet tea. Their white rice was not moist at all and we could've just done without it. Out of the sushi we ordered, the spicy tuna was good, but the rest was grocery store quality sushi and extremely small portion. In my opinion, people rave about this place because it is 'different' and plays into an upscale restaurant as you can see with their overpriced items. This place doesn't hold a candle to shopping center Thai fusion in California. I have lived in many states and am not a snotty Californian, but man oh man I can tell you this one is a fail. The only star for this visit goes to the waitress (she was a 5) but if I could give this a zero for the food, I would. Don't waste your time or money.
