Sushi is a food I crave but haven't found the right spot in the Columbus area until now. Wide menu…read moreselection outside of Japanese items. Normally that bothers me when there's multiple cultures on a menu because there's not a speciality but I had Korean and Japanese items that tasted great. Only thing I thought that didn't belong on the menu was Chicken Farfalle pasta. Spoiler alert, large portions so be warned that a lot of items can be shared on don't get too many. The price I paid when I ordered sushi and an entree. My favorite sushi roll was the Citrus Rainbow Roll. Good quality fish plus the citrus helped create an additional flavor. Another thing to order is the Kalbi Beef. Service was great. Our server suggested items that were all great. Only disappointment was the sake I ordered. It wasn't the best taste I have had.

I'm in town for three weeks and have been back 5 times in the last 8 days. It's been that good and…read moreconsistent until today when two servers started arguing with me about my experience--the complaint was forgivable.. Chef cut the rolls in 6 pcs instead of 8. It made perfect size rolls look of the caliber of supermarket quality.. it's a simple fix.. offer to remake the roll.. if you offer to have the roll cut down you're now making 6 into 12.. just let it be.. instead "that's how it comes" no it's not, not 5 other times in the last week and a half I've been there! I asked why he would be making this into something it didn't need to be? The second server who took care of me yesterday remarked that I complained yesterday too, which didn't happen. I asked him what I complained about-allegedly I complained about the sauce.. didn't happen. The excessive sauce on the Titantic went amazing with the OSU roll which comes with none.. I ended up speaking to the manager.. he listened and was extremely nice. I would have come back to eat there another 5 times next week ordering the same rolls and not bother trying anywhere else.. now I don't feel comfortable because of these servers... Could this be an isolated incident? Maybe. Am I comfortable eating there as much as I was and would have continued? Absolutely not. A waste of an incredible restaurant. Hopefully I can try again when I come back in a few months and get the server with the mustache.. that dude is an 11/10. Super disappointed that this is a rave review like it should have been. 80 percent of my experience was perfection. Here's hoping you enjoy your visit!

So the egg roll hype got to me so I did the hour round trip to Asian Kitchen near Easton. Got 4…read morerolls (2 in freezer now) steamed dumplings, wonton soup, hot sour soup, and twice cooked pork. Egg rolls. Yep, worth the drive. Wish they were fist busting size like the old days. But they fit the bill well. Fresh hot mustard raised the bar. Dumps. Owner tried to talk me into frying them. I said nope. Nice old school chewy dough exterior, the filling was ample tho a bit bland. The vinegar dipping sauce brought em back to life. Soups. No complaints. The wonton broth was quite savory, nice plump wontons along with sliced char su and mushrooms. Hot and sour had a good deep taste and an ok amount of ingredients. Needed a lil more fire. Twice cooked pork. Saving it for later but looks legit. Lots of tasty cabbage which is the signature. Though the use of char su instead of pork loin is off target I suspect it will be ok. Still miss the Hunan House version that left their menu a few years back. I'll go back one day and try some other stuff, their salt pepper wings and shrimp toast and fried rice dishes looked good in photos.

They have a menu of items you can try in order off of, but my sister and I got the buffet and we're sure glad that we did. They had some salad bar items and then hot bar items with different items that rotate daily. In addition, they had a gentleman carving beautifully cooked steak, lamb, and sausage at your request. Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. Multiple people stopped by to check on us and welcome us. All the food was delicious and we picked out a few desserts to take home from the bakery (not included in the buffet price). There's also a little Brazilian market attached to the restaurant that is worth checking out as well. The restaurant itself had a really nice vibe with exposed brick walls. One of the women working told us that happy hour is from 12 to 8 but I will have to come back and try one of their cocktails at some other point. I will definitely be back.

The label clearly said "Use By Thu 7/23," meaning the product was past its expiration date. This is a serious quality control and food safety issue. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've had problems with this restaurant. The service is often very slow, and more than once I have waited for over an hour, only to be told that the item I ordered was unavailable and that I had to choose something else instead. My advice to anyone buying ready-to-eat food here is: always check the expiration date before eating, because it seems that the staff is not consistently checking it themselves.
