I love their onigiri & boba teas. This is the best boba spot in the Gahanna / New Albany area. Staff is friendly as well.

I had been to the other location, and heard about this one, but usually I'm not very close by. Today I was, and needed lunch. It is in a tiny, non-descript strip mall. It's pretty small inside the shop as well, but nicer than the outside. Dine in or carry out. Sushi, ramen, assorted other Japanese snacks and entrées. It was a very cold day and sushi just didn't seem appropriate. So I got Spam musubi, which was huge and tasty. And a bulgogi bento box, which was chock full of very good, tender bulgogi, Korean fried chicken, veggies, eggs, and rice. The perfect amount of food. They have mini and large versions of the bento boxes too. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. A good quick lunch. The ramen selection is interesting, although I don't quite get the pull of something I ate too much of in college and could easily make at home. But it is probably an even cheaper, quicker lunch for some folks. Several hot water machines along the wall to make it yourself. read more

This is a self serve sushi/ramen joint. The sushi rolls are $10-20 each and are just ok. If the prices were more reasonable I could see people coming here a lot but it's essentially plastic grade school seating and no service for the price of a sit down restaurant. The ramen pricing is even worse. They give you a $1-2 ramen packet for $11-12 and provide a place for you to put hot water into it. All of the toppings are extra so you are essentially getting charged $10 for the convenience of having hot water(since there is no ambience/service to speak of). read more

I would rate 4 stars for the quality. However the quantity is a solid 3 compared to other sushi places around. The servings are very small! The poke bowl we ordered was so small I was blown. The packaging is nice and cute but the portions were literally small. The spicy tuna Inari was a tiny serving it was in a sauce container. The picture on their website was deceiving. read more

I love this place for a quick bite or if I'm snacky. The service is usually pretty fast & it's very clean in there & never too busy. I think they do a lot of take out business. Haven't tried the ramen yet but I'm hooked on the inari that are stuffed into tofu skin pockets. They're the perfect fresh bite. The original kimbap was good but I'll probably try it w bulgogi next time for more flavor. Their bento boxes are a great deal & a way to get to try so much of what they offer...I would have never guessed I would end up loving the little sausages. Their bubble tea was nothing special & probably won't get it again in comparison to how much better it's at other places. Since gahanna lacks in this department, I might give it a try again if I'm really craving it, but otherwise it's not worth it. I would like to try the sushi soon but for the price on those, I'd probably stop at Mr.Sushi down the street for that particular craving. Overall, I'm so glad we got this fun option in Gahanna & will continue to try more things! read more

Honestly one of the best sushi spots I've found here in Columbus that's actually affordable and with great portions. Everything is super fresh, the fish was great quality, and even the cream cheese was very fresh. You can tell they do NOT cut corners, and honestly I really appreciate that in a business. Their takeout containers are really good quality, very unique, and thoughtful. I highly recommend this spot! read more

Love that we have somewhere with varieties of inari and kimbap available. The inari were extremely moist and delicious, and the kimbap was satisfying. Their aesthetics are very cute and they have a good variety of instant noodles and beverages to choose from. read more

Went here for lunch and got a sushi roll and bubble tea. The sushi roll fell apart but overall tasty, the bubble tea was very good! The rating is for the not-so-nice blond girl at the register. She could've just had a bad day, but she answered my questions with one-word answers and had an attitude even though I was just asking for clarity on the price. The second time I went for lunch she was much nicer but the owner was standing behind her. ... The restaurant is cutely decorated with what you would see at a real Japanese quick-serve restaurant, so that's cool. read more

Wow! What a shocker. We had expected a typical sushi bar restaurant and instead walked into a predominantly take sushi/ramen shop. I'll admit we were hesitant because typically take out focused sushi is substandard to say the least. Boy were we surprised! Sushi was fresh and the rolls were generous, very well prepared and delicious. Service was friendly and we are happy to have another go to especially for take home sushi. I'm so disappointed in my Boba today! I asked for regular ice. I literally got 4-5 ice cubes. Had to have them make it over then my Boba was very hard . I'm very disappointed. Seems like this location can't handle the high volume of orders. Then I over here the worker make a comment ask for extra ice and then laughed!!! Bad part this boba tastes like crap! The sushi and ramen were both incredible, and I never liked sushi much before I ate here, so that's saying a lot. The restaurant itself could use some more decoration and beatification, but it's a really nice place to eat. The employees were also super helpful and kind, and the boba tea is now the best boba tea in Gahanna. read more
