I love how close this place is to my house. I had the ramen obviously and it was so so good. Honestly I prefer it over many of the ramen places that are 20-25 min away. Sushi and tempura is really good. I ordered the Dragon and Titanic rolls and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The tempura dip is a garlicky sweet sauce and not the typical tempura dipping sauce. They have definitely improved the tempura as I have ordered it before and not been impressed. I've also ordered on other occasions the orange chicken, chicken lo mein, hibachi steak, and teriyaki chicken. The hibachi had a thick sweet sauce that was not hibachi. It tasted like the same sauce on the orange chicken. I don't really like the big balls of chicken they use for the general Tsos and orange chicken, the teriyaki chicken was bland and the lo mein was okay. The mango flavor was appropriately restrained. The dumplings came out with a wonton for me to taste. The wonton skin was crispy and the cream cheese soft and flavorful. Let's be clear, Sakura is certainly not Sakana on Broad. Having two restaurants with similar names in the marketplace can make things a tad confusing. It also explains why everything ordered was different than expected, and not necessarily in a good way. The spring rolls and egg rolls were fine, but my wife's fried chicken rice was extremely garlicky. I had the teriyaki chicken, and while the portion size was impressive, everything was extremely salty that came with the meal. The soup was highly unusual in flavor on top of the salt. Delivery was amazingly quick, but I do wonder if we would have had a different experience in restaurant. It feels a bit like they are trying to be someone else, and need to find their own place in the market, something to help them stand out. I am certain I will have to try them again to see if we just ordered poorly. read more

We ordered 3 hibachi steak meals and, I'm not even kidding, my steak wreaked of pure POOP!! Absolutely gag inducing. The other two smelled perfectly fine, along with the rest of the food we ordered. I had my husband smell mine and he straight up gagged and almost puked, and he has one of the strongest stomaches out there, truly. I live nearby and saw that a new business opened up and received their menu so my family tried it and then got it again. Both times were good. The hibachi is very good and even better leftover! Only complaint is the to go containers ended up cracking due to it being too hot from the food. We had sushi both times and both times were good. I don't remember which one's I got the first time other than the Sakura house roll and I got it again the 2nd time. I also ordered 2 others and all three sushis were good. I highly recommend.
