I had one of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I've ever had at this store…read more I came in looking to purchase a visor and was trying to find a mirror so I could see how it looked before buying it. The only mirror I could find appeared to be located in the back near the fitting rooms and public restroom area. The door was open, there were no signs indicating customers were not allowed in that area, and I simply walked back to look in the mirror. Before I could even get there, an older blonde employee rushed toward me and aggressively intercepted me. Her behavior was so abrupt and confrontational that it felt as though she was seconds away from physically grabbing me. Instead of approaching me like a customer, she approached me like a suspect. There was absolutely no reason for this response. I was carrying merchandise I intended to purchase, I was walking toward the only visible mirror in the store, and there is not even an exit in that area. Yet I was immediately treated with suspicion and hostility. As a Black woman, I left feeling profiled, stereotyped, and deeply disrespected. The employee's actions made it clear that she had already decided I did not belong there and needed to be monitored. I cannot think of any legitimate reason for the level of suspicion and aggression directed toward me when I was simply trying on a visor. Shopping while Black should not come with the assumption that you are a thief. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race. If this is how customers are treated, management needs to address it immediately. No one should leave a store feeling humiliated, targeted, and unwelcome simply because they were trying to make a purchase.

I paid for the one month try all the racquets you wanted. Marcus taught and showed me the difference in almost every racquet the store carried.. I tried at least 6-7 racquets and along with some of our friends probably a total of over 10 racquets. So many to choose, so many different strings these days.. wow! After playing with so many my wife and I choose the Volkl C4. What a difference from our old racquets! I had Wilson NXT 17 strings put on as those were the ones I tried and liked. The service from Marcus was outstanding.. we also bought a tennis bag for my wife, some added tape, and a ball hopper! Kudos Marcus .. a customer for life. Yes this is the kind of customer service I expect when I spend my hard earned discretionary money at any store or business !

Instead of wearing out the one pair, I decided to wear the defective pair until the store reopened. I even showed her both pairs of shoes so that she could see the defect for herself. Both the clerk and manager, whom she called over to examine the shoes, were very nasty and treated me like a criminal, although I did nothing to violate their return policy. I also had my bike tuned up and repaired there. Some of the services for which I had paid were not completed. When I asked to have them done, the mechanic was very nasty. When I took the bike with me on an RV trip across country, one of my riding companions, who is a triathlete, pointed out other problems that should have been repaired. I will never use the repair shop at this location again!

I called the customer service number after I left and spoke with Tabitha. She stated I absolutely was entitled to the promotional offer, the worker should have provided her name upon request, and my entire experience did not align with the service standards set by Victoria Secret. That meant I couldn't leave with the shoes that were actually in stock which was inconvenient. My total came to $123.03 for both pairs with free shipping. Later that evening I checked Clark's website and noticed that the same shoes I had just purchased were significantly lower online. When I called customer service the next day I was told to contact the store, but the store informed me that they did not price match due to company policy. Overall, I'm disappointed that Clark's does not have consistent pricing between their stores and online platform. While the in-store team was great. The pricing inconsistency and lack of flexibility left me feeling like I paid more than I should have.

UPS…read moredelivered my baseball glove to the wrong address and it was destroyed -- something that was completely out of Better Baseball's control. Despite that, they immediately stepped up and sent me a replacement and even made sure it would arrive before Christmas. That level of integrity and customer service is rare these days. They didn't have to do that, but they chose to anyway, and it meant a lot to our family. I'm incredibly grateful and will absolutely be a lifelong Better Baseball customer. Highly, highly recommend.
