They do not have enough receptionists answering the phones. I've been trying to make an appointment for a week by calling. Trying to use the Mychart is not for everyone. I feel that not having easy access to scheduling appointments does a great disservice to the patient and creates unnecessary stress.

Went back to the office and the young lady there gave us another room, #105 that she said she was positive there were no pets in it. We went in to it and there was fortunately no odor. The clean, VERY WELL maintained cabin included a warming fireplace, crispy clean bedding, all required utensils and virtually instant hot water in the shower and kitchen. The grounds provided space for casual walks (escorted by hummingbirds and chipmunks). Fishing was good and the lake scenic thanks in great part to limited development. As important as anything, Loon Point's owner/operators were not only visible, but helpful as well. Loon Point provides lots of lessons for owner/operators of "Mom and Pop" destinations who believe they'll stay in business by doing the "same old thing." It's just not gonna happen.

My mother in law was at Diamond Willow for the last three months of her life. For the last month, one of the children was always with her. The staff were sensitive to my mother in law and to the family. It was as if the employees were more neighbors and friends than employees.

She took a mouthful of problematic teeth which I had been…read moretold twice before "absolutely must be extracted" for dentures, and somehow worked her magic and was able to salvage all but 4 of the teeth in my mouth. For the remaining 4 she set me up with partial dentures as well. But how she was able to completely transform all but 4 of the teeth Id been told by prior dentists were irreparable, is something between a miracle of sorts and pure serendipitous good fortune, for a change. The aching, breaking, stained teeth and unsightly mouth I owned just a month or two ago is now shiny white and almost new and the change was quick and incredible. I literally have been agoraphobic and mostly unable to work due to a combination of pain and shame concerning my teeth, and Dr. Specht and her hygienist have reinvigorated my confidence and my smile and my future will be brighter for the amazing work they've done for me. Needless to say, I am referring everybody I know and their brother to Up North Dental because of their impressive expertise and good work.
