Way too expensive. Compare to brakes plus. Over $400 at hibden, compared to under $200 at brakes plus.

Had a flat, used my pancake compressor aired the tire up to 30 psi and after a couple miles drop to 15 psi. Put my spare tire doughnut on and went home. Found metal in the tread . Went into Hibdon the next morning, manager asked if my tire dad been slashed? Obviously, I said no! He took me into the bay with the manager showed me a slash in the sidewall of my tire. I could put my finger in to the hole. Unbelievable, this occurred in their shop, they slashed my tire to cause me to replace it. It cost me $475 to replace the tire to get out of the shop. I will not be returning ever. The manager has great customer service but evidently is clueless of the actions of his employees. read more

After a bad experience with service at a dealership, he made sure the service was top notch. Had an oil change done and they put my drain plug on so tight it stripped the threads causing a permanent leak. Customer service wasn't great to begin with but this caused me to start doing my oil changes on my own. read more

I called ahead and asked if they looked at tires that were leaking air because I couldn't find out where it was coming from. The lady I spoke with was very professional and knowledgeable. I went in and they checked and sure enough there was a nail! They patched it for free and everyone I spoke to there was very nice and understanding:) Another thing I'm going to add is the level of professionalism this store has. Jozeph was dealing with a very unruly customer who was rude and disrespectful and cut another customer off while speaking with Jozeph and Jozeph handled him with nothing but kindness even though the customer was still being disrespectful. Please, for the sake of your own sanity and time DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT TAKING YOUR VEHICLE to this place! The primary complaint is horrible communication skills. We wasted an entire morning & afternoon dropping off the car, waiting, getting the phone call that is was almost ready then arriving to pick it up only to sit and wait another 2 hours! Ridiculous. Their lack of properly working equipment was the culprit but that was not at all communicated until we went and asked what was taking so long. When it came time to actually pay, there were no apologies at all. What we did get however, was questioned over a promised rebate. And, the "man in charge" was the one doing all of the griping. The guys were jerks and it took 4 hours to finish a rotation and balance. They said "oh it'll be a bit" not committing to any timeline. Four hours later and they were still not done. Took our car in to repair a tire.. drove in fine, left vibrating & shaking. They told us it was the car not the repaired tire. Went back again, they said it was cupping on the tires. Went to a different Hibdons for them to say it was the car not the tires. Today we replaced the tire and the auto shop we went to couldn't figure out why it was rattling.. until they took it apart. This is a "noise reduction" that no longer exists and damaged the interior of the tire, and the wheel housing. This is what happens when you try to save a few bucks on the tire. Don't. I have come here to 3000 S. Broadway twice for car trouble while on a road trip to Oklahoma. To me, they seem to be honest, polite, considerate, fair, and trying NOT to sell you anything you don't need. Their technicians may be a little wet behind the ears, but that goes along with being young and earnest. They seem to take longer to do things than my regular car shop back home. They may be a little pricey, but they probably have steep overhead from their central location in a pricey town. Last week they managed to fix my minor engine malfunction on short notice in just a few hours so I could feel safe starting my drive back home. I want to be completely honest and I'm hoping I can also call Hibdon's and speak to a manager. We went in to get the tires realigned. And they said they couldn't because the tie rods and struts needed to be replaced. It was going to cost $2,000. So of course we take it to two other auto shops and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. The car just needed to be realigned, which Hibdon's said they could not and would not do. They were scamming us BIG TIME. I'm so glad we got a second opinion. I came in to get my tired plugged around 8:40am. I was told they had to finish up 1 service and I was next in line. I asked them about how long it would take and they said an hour. A hour and 40min later I asked what was going on because my vehicle had not been pulled in yet and people who got there after me were being cycled through. They then inform me they had some complications with some other vehicles and now that other appointments were showing up that it was now gonna be another hour and a half at least. I understand stuff happens but you should inform people on arrival that they're gonna be passed up if appointments come in. Super disappointed with the work that was done on my car. I got my brakes done back in January and I noticed about 4 weeks later my brakes were making a loud grating noise plus squeaking. I took it back and the mechanic said he did not hear anything. Here it is 3 months later and my brakes are still squeaking and grating. The squeaking is really bad when I reverse. So looking on Apple Maps these reviews on here almost made me not come here a week or so ago - but I needed air in my tires and every gas station around has an inop air pump. Eddie is the guy I worked with - very personable and welcoming. All the guys here I interacted with were nice and professional. I told them I thought I had a nail in my tire and they happily told me that they could patch it right then for free - but alas my tire had been plugged shotty by the dealership (or previous owner) I bought it from I suppose - and I needed a new tire. They even brought me back so I could see the inside of the tire as proof which was nice Bc I'm weary of car related services pulling the wool over ignorant car owners. They got me in and out during my lunch hour. They even bring out a plastic seat cover and paper mat for your car before they drive it into the bay. Very unprofessional. They should considered hiring professional "employees" who can actually admit when they have made a mistake and find ways to improve their mistakes, instead of hiring arrogant and incompetent employees who want to justify themselves. Went in for an alignment only to find out the next day from my mechanic that no work was done at all. I took my car in on December 1st to check on my front right tire. I noticed a slow leak. They checked the tire and said they fixed the leak. On the morning of the 3rd I attempted to go to work and my tire was FLAT. I then had to buy a portable air compressor to get my car to a neighboring Hibdon. I told them of my issue and they took my car in. They said there was a hole in my tire and when they dunked it in water it started to bubble immediately. This oversight cost me a day of work and major inconvenience. I will never go back here again . I understand this is a free service but I had planned to drive to Lawton on that day on a tire that was not fixed. This could have been much worse. They said my car needed lower control arms, and they could not align the car. We continued to drive the car for about a year, without issue. When it came time for new tires, we replaced the lower control arms at a competitor's shop, bought new tires, and then headed over to Hibdon for an alignment (the competitor's shop did not do alignments). Guess what? Hibdon said my car needed lower control arms -- despite the fact that we just changed them that very same day! Always the skeptic, and not 100% sure the competitor's shop actually did change out the lower control arms, I took the car to a DIFFERENT competitor's shop for an inspection (specifically calling out the lower control arms). That competitor's shop said THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR! I took it back to Hibdon -- again, they said my car needed lower control arms, and they could not align the car. I have been a loyal Hibdon customer for 30 years -- they used to be a reliable, reputable store... I've been a long time customer with Hibdon tires. I like a company that keeps track of my warranties. I don't like that they will not rotate your tires as directed and won't use a plug to fix your tire. I would not purchase a tire without the road hazard warranty because usually when I have a flat it's to close to sidewall for a patch. I then have to plug the tire myself. The rotation service typically goes like. Sorry we can't rotate your tires because their to worn in front. I end up rotating them myself. I will continue to purchase tires from this store. Had to return to them the next day to fix the alignment. This second trip we thought was successful until later that evening when we heard a pop then the vehicle pull hard to the left. They are SO SLOW!! Called ahead to ask if they were busy and if I could get in and out with a simple tire patch and they told me they weren't busy and could get me in ASAP . I took my 2010 Mazda 3 to this location to have my rear axle brake pads looked at and get an oil change. The next day I start hearing a rattling noise coming from the back of my car. I took it back to this location to have Hibdon check out the noise. They called me after a few hours and told me that my rear shocks needed to be changed and it would cost me $388. I took my car to a local car shop in Edmond for a second opinion and the man and I looked at my car together for the rattling noise. 10 minutes later we found my old brake pad sitting on the base of my rear shock coil. A Hibdon employee had left it there after changing my brake pads a few days earlier. We removed it and the rattling noise immediately stopped. The local car shop employee also told me my shocks did not need to be replaced and that the brake pads that Hibdon changed could have lasted me several more months. I wish Hibdon had the integrity to refrain from performing a service if they thought for even a minute that I might not have needed it. I never received a call from them about this. Only a call saying my car was done. I am angry because I took my car back to Hibdon to search for the source of the rattling noise and a Hibdon employee looked me in the eye, told me he checked out my shocks personally, and thought they needed to be replaced. My local carman and I found the real problem in 10 minutes. I find it hard to believe that this Hibdon employee somehow missed a brake pad sitting on top of the base of my rear shock coil. If he was looking at my shocks, he would have seen the shock coils directly below the shocks and would have seen the brake pad sitting there. I will not be returning to this location or this company. read more

Relaxing atmosphere while you wait. Sadly waiting is exactly what you will do here! This is the ONLY place I have ever been to that has 1 (or two if you are lucky) low profile tires for purchase. We needed new tires and came here because it is where my bf wanted to come and they had to "order them" from the warehouse and that would take 1.5 hours to have that done, so we waited. Actually we came back after we got a call about 1hr 45min later. Then it took a good 20min to be helped and we got to watch a guy who had no clue how to move the seat or start the car finally give up after 10min and walk back to ask a co-worker to take over (it was comical really), finally we got our car serviced and was out of there after spending a total of nearly 3.5hrs in and around this place. I don't understand why they don't just stock 4 tires at a time, at a minimum. It would make the customer happy, but I am not certain why they don't. Honest service and good price! I've read a lot of negative reviews and heard them from friends. One guy says he's gone there 20 years with no problem, next guy says they forgot to put oil in his car! I guess the best advice I can give is to go in with your facts straight, and buy their tires. Don't let them do any other mechanical stuff like oil, brakes - etc. These guys were the only non-dealer who knew how to align my 2010 Subaru, and did a great job with a great price. I got 4 Bridgestone tires with road hazard and an alignment for just over $600 - a realistic price for the tires I wanted. the front desk guys were very friendly as well, but honestly if you go to an auto repair facility wanting to be treated nicely you're in the wrong place. These guys work on cars, and if they're honest I'm good with that. Call them up, get your prices up front and let them do their job. No body can throw tires on a car right in less than an hour. I've been a longtime customer at this location. Recently, my husband took my car in for checkup & got 3 new tires as the other tire had been replaced within the year. When I got the car back it was out of alignment. I called to bring it in to have that corrected & the Mgr Dwane, grilled me: why did you only get 3 tires, which ones & proceeded to tell me they didn't do an alignment even though they wrote that they did. I brought it back in and it was pulling even more than than when I got it back the first time. I am appalled at the customer service & the service received. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN...WORST experience. Corporate referred us to Danforth location and bc they did it for FREE my husband received the same attitude from whoever helped him there. I Reentered this fun house and after another hour 3:45 PM my car project was complete That's 10:00am to 3:45pm Then the confirmed price went from 388.00 to 587.25. The manager DEWIAN a piller of integrity . Told me that price was an estimate !!!!!! And after I showed him that it was a confirmed price from HIBDON HE---- Now mustering up ALL his managerial and customer service skills INFORMED ME ........ When I called today to get a quote on an oil change I was given it and as I was asking a second question about my sensor, I was cut short, told to have a good day and hung up on. I took my car in because my brakes were squeaking. Got charged $110 and THEYRE STILL SQUEAKING but they WERE NOT before the problem occurred.
