Went in for a new tire/rotation and alignment; First issue was the rotation was never done when asked about it they just apologized didn't offer to rotate them why I was there after they were told of there mess up. Secondly, they could not print or email any alignment papers off to show work/corrections needed to or were made. Carlos stated they could only show the before picture showing what it was at but not that they corrected the alignment; and how would you be able to confirm work done on alignment to your customer without proper paperwork?! Completely unacceptable for a professional tire shop! Definitely will take my business elsewhere. read more

While I was grateful they took me without an appointment to fix my flat tire, I am not thrilled with their customer service or wait times. I understand they are overwhelmed and "only have one bay," this was the same explanation last time as well. I called at 9:45 and was told if I got there within 30 minutes, my car would take approximately 1.5 hrs. When I got there, that times was immediately changed to 2.5/3 hours. Then at 2pm (2 hrs past the 3 hrs wait time) I called again and was told the car should be ready by 3. At 3:30 I arrived and my car was still not done. 4 pm my car was finished. To change 2 tires and complete a tire rotation it took 6 hours. When I mentioned this and asked for a discount due to the inconvenience, I was spoken to very condonscedingly and the response was basically I should understand their predicament of having 1 bay. My biggest take away is this, be honest about the wait time! Had I been told that they may take all day, then not a problem. But to consistently lie about wait time and then be annoyed at the customer is poor customer service, at best read more

Went there for a new set of tires.The manager told me I needed a new TPMS sensor and I responded by saying there was no light on prior to coming there.After leaving I had to come back because the tire pressures were off.They fixed those again.I had to come back an hour later because the pressures were off again.One of the techs came out and adjusted them again.I mentioned about the sensor and he checked them with the reader.He said they probably broke it while replacing the tire.He said they will replace it under warranty.While I was waiting the tech said they wouldn't replace it now because he said it was on the paperwork.It was on their paperwork but not on mine.Not happy with that decision.Should have been handled differently. Logan was super helpful today! I was in a super tight situation. Had a bolt in my tire that I unfortunately got on the way to work this morning. Of course, I have been needing new tires for months now. Went to Hibdon to try and see if it could be patched. Thankfully Logan was able to help. He said that it could be patched! Logan also informed me of the tire sale that will be happening the week of September 4th-7th. I was able to get a reasonable quote. Can I rate about 10 stars? Had the pleasure of figuring out where to get the boss's vehicle and it's dead battery replaced. So I called and ended up here. The crew of Wayne - front desk staff and tech Josh were so very nice!!! They got the battery checked and replaced. Wayne told me a 45 min time to get it done...he lied...in a great way. I was in and out in 25 mins. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They have definitely done a fantastic job and I appreciate the service and hospitality. Don't bother making an appointment. Today is the third time I've made an appointment only to be told that they wouldn't be able to have my oil change done for a few hours or until the end of the day. I understand things happen, but this is the 3rd time it's happened. At least notify your appointments by email or phone call that they cannot be completed in time expected. Go to the one on Danforth or Broadway if you want to make an appointment, they always let me know when they aren't able to honor my appointment time even if it is last minute. read more

He said the bearing was reason my car wasn't driving right. My car was driving just fine.... I got into it w them, and went and picked it up. I got a flat tire yesterday and took my tire in to get fixed/replaced, they said they would replace it and it would only take a couple of hours. it ended up taking 5 hours, and several calls from me to get it done. and then I drove 20 miles on it and it went flat again. by that point it was afyer close so I had to wait to take it in today. which meant calling out at work, getting me a write-up. and then I take it in and they look at it for two seconds and say that it's the valve that's leaking air. meaning yesterday they gave my a tire that was leaking, leading me to take off work. at that spin to was already annoyed, and then they said that it would be 4 hours or so to get to it. annoying but whatever. it ended up taking 6 hours and I missed an appointment. suffice to say, I am less then pleased with my experience here read more

Before I made my tire purchase I was told by the manager that I would have included alignments and tire rotations for the life of the tires. She was aware of the vehicle make and model as it was on the property at the time and she personally looked at it. It wasn't until I picked it up and fully purchased the tires that I was told they don't have the equipment or software to do alignments on Subarus and that I would need to take it to a dealership to have that done. The dealership can't get me in for 2 weeks and will charge $120 for a service that I was told was included with my purchase. I can't drive until that's done or I risk damage to my drive train. I should've been notified before making the purchase. Instead of offering me any solutions, the assistant manager asked me "what do you want us to do?" which felt very dismissive. I said I wanted alternatives to make it right, to no response. I then suggested being reimbursed for alignments I have outside of Hibdon and he said he'd have to have the manager call me. I am not sure how to feel about Hibdon. I have a love-hate relationship. They have saved my rear end a couple time and they do work on weekends, but sometimes the wait times are extremely long. I think the tire prices are a little high, and for some reason I don't feel like I can just blindly trust the recommendations. I do like the customer service of the front reps. They have always been cordial and patient with me. Pros: open late. Open Saturdays. Solves problems. Conveniently located. Cons: cost. Correct recommendations? Not Problems addresses in one visit. Hard to get an accurate estimate on time. Make me feel like what I am saying about what's going on with my car makes no sense. My mechanic friend says the brake pads should have had some Lubricant put on when installed to prevent squalling and squeaking, but these guys don't seem overly concerned. I was told they do not put "grease on the pads". I don't know who to believe ‍‍ At this one location I have ondone front brakes and a battery in the last two years. I was having trouble with my car's light coming on to indicate that the pressure in my car's tires was wrong. It had been going on and off for a month the man stood there and told me that that was what the sensor was supposed to do, come on, and then go off to let you know there's a problem but then the problem is gone. Instead of listening to me say that it came on for a week and stayed on for a week and I went and checked the tires and fixed the pressure and then it came back on a week later, The man decided that he needed to give me a lecture over me talking about how the sensors work. Just because I'm female doesn't make me an idiot and all I want is my car tires checked before I drove halfway across the country. After "repairing" my 17 year old daughter's car, her right front wheel came completely off. The cv joint broken in half. Initially the manager, Jason McGinnis, seemed very helpful. He came to where her car was, waited for the tow truck, followed the tow truck back to their location and pledged to repair all of the damage, including body damage, free of charge. But when I picked the car up today, he was no where to be found and the quality of work was VERY poor. There were visible drip marks on the newly painted quarter panel. The wheel well was still broken. Needless to say, the car was not restored to pre-accident condition. And now Mr. McGinnis will not answer my calls or texts. I always had something happen when I went there, I was a customer for about 15 years until this year when I said it's enough! I used to go to the Penn and memorial location. They are so rude! More expensive than other companies, customer services have gone from ok to TERRIBLE, every time they change tires or rotated them they lost the lock/key. They were so rude, not even taking responsibility for it to replace it. They made me get it from Nissan myself from search where I can find it to pick it up and they just reimburse me the cost. The last time that happened, they just decided that they will just not get the lock and just put something random that won't need a key for it, "saying no one will steal your tires" . The oil change price is so high that when I went to the new AAA on Penn ave was more than 20dlls cheaper. They never have enough personnel, so be prepared to leave your car or wait for more than 5 hours for an oil change, then they get upset of you ask them after 3 hrs of waiting how much longer for your car to be ready. Honestly, that location is the worse! Now I am looking for a trustworthy place with good customer service. read more

I once had great experiences with this Hibdons but in the last year or so, it's changed for the worse. A few months ago I called to get a problem diagnosed on my truck that I have brought in for years. The girl who answered the phone said to bring it in, they would find out what was wrong. I had to have it towed, by AAA, which I told her up front and what work I had done to try to get it started. I installed new spark plugs, new plug wires, new distributor cap and rotor and coil plus I tested to make sure that the timing chain hadn't broken. I told her I would include a printed copy of the work I had done for their mechanic to review. NO SOONER than the tow driver arrived, taking my truck off the flat bed....Long enough for their mechanic to read my letter, I got a snippy message telling me were refusing to work on my truck. Their official reason was that they only had a diagnostic machine that read Check your Engine. I was told to come get my truck but AAA had left and They weren't allowed to pick up my truck from Hibdons without me being there. I called and spoke with Hibdons manager and found it was he who Left me the sh*tty message. What this really boiled down to was they couldn't make any substantial money off from me because I had done all of the work they would have to try to get it running. I have no doubt about it. I managed to arrange for Hibdons to release my truck to AAA so I could have it taken to A to Z Tire on NW 10th Street. You know what was wrong (and had slipped my mind to replace)? The ICM: ignition control module. It took A to Z less than 5 minutes to find the problem with a basic code reader. But Hibdons wouldn't be bothered. Where was the money in a simple repair? I bought a nice used car that I want to replace all 4 tires on this coming week. I know where I won't be taking it. By the way, I spent more than $500 having Hibdons put new tires on my truck in the past. They're good tires but I don't have time to chance being treated badly again by them again read more

I am really surprised by all the negative reviews from this Hibdon Tire location! The other reviews sound legit too. That's odd. Here's why... I bought a new set of 4 tires from a Hibdon location in Tulsa a little less than a year ago. Since moving to OKC, I had to come in a couple months ago for a rotation. I was in and out in 20 minutes, no charge (warranty). Today, I was across the street at Walmart and noticed a huge bolt sticking out of one of my rear tires. Since I was right across the street, I came over to Hibdon to have them take it out, again, no charge, because they're under warranty. I didn't have an appt, and since it was 1pm on a Saturday, they told me "about 2 hours wait" and that was fine. I expected that since the place is packed, however, within 5 minutes they had my car up on the lift fixing the tire. I was out in 30 minutes flat. I honestly believe Hibdon is the BEST tire shop I've dealt with, both in Tulsa and OKC. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've had a 5 star experience every time I've come here. read more

This is the 5th time we have been back after buying wheels. The new wheels did not fit and the van wobbled and shook going down the highway. Took it back and they ordered some parts that should have been part of the original install! Now I brought the same van in last Wednesday for a rotate and balance. The van now shakes when going down the highway again. Left it today In the hope they will fix it this time. Getting tired of having to keep bringing the van back for the same problem. The people who work here are really nice fowork with. I changed the stars to 3 from one. Thank you for getting the car fixed.
