Oh my goodness. When I tell y'all that Charmaine has the hands of a goddess, I MEAN IT!!! I found a Groupon for a 50-min body scrub and a 50 min body massage! I want to buy 100 more!! When you arrive at check in they give you a locker key and escort you to the lounge. There you will find your locker with a wonderful robe inside. They have full showers, a sauna, steam room and complimentary hair brushes incase you want to blow dry your hair. (I did!) The body scrub was a first for me! At first it felt very odd but after getting used to the feeling it was very pleasant. Once Charmaine started the water it was heavenly!! Imagine having a personal massage in the shower! As far as the massage goes I fell asleep moments after arriving to the room!! I'd wake up from time to time feeling in heaven! Once I woke up for good, I felt relaxed and refreshed. I was a little confused when I first walked in. I was directed to the locker rooms, no robe was present. So I patiently waited in the beautiful lounge for entry of my masseuse. She arrived and quickly found me a robe. The spa is smaller than most, but this does not take away from the relaxing nature and presence of the area. My masseuse was amazing, and so very kind. I received the body scrub, and I do not think my skin has ever been so soft and hydrated. My massage was heavenly and I look forward to returning. read more

I was not impressed with this spa at all. They did not have many amenities. The steam room was out of order. The massage was okay and they do not let you upgrade to a deep tissue. I even offered to pay the difference. I had never had a spa not allow me to do that. They said because it was a Groupon deal you cannot do that. Now, my typical experience in booking Groupon appointments is that the establishment doesn't like patrons who use Groupons. But that was NOT my experience here! When I called to book the appointments, I was warmly greeted by Katrina who happily helped me through the process. Her high energy and positivity about our appointments, even despite using our Groupons, made us all the more excited to be here! I'm actually writing this review while sitting in the dark and super comfortable lounge which was recently opened again, sipping on my champagne. Trisha was my masseuse and she was amazing! This being my first ever massage, I was a little nervous but she walked me through the process and made me feel at ease the entire time. The Westin is located just off the strip which makes it super convenient if you're staying on the strip. Staying at Bally's meant it is only 10 minutes to get walk there and check in! I always stay at this hotel but bc it was my birthday weekend, I wanted to get a massage. Read the reviews and figured you can't go wrong w anything in the Westin so I thought I'd give it a try. I got an 80 minute swedish massage given by Cyndi. I was given a robe and slippers to put on which all spas don't offer. I noticed a relaxation room, a sauna, and a shower. The experience was great and listening to Cyndi tell me things that I didn't know about Vegas was informative and great. It was nice being able to take a shower before I left the place and the bottle of water was better than being given a cup of water. The staff was sweet and I will definitely come back. Had a fun and amazing experience here yesterday! As hotel guests, we had the opportunity to enjoy the spa amenities for free :) Came here after a dip in the outdoor pool of the hotel. It's quiet, clean and has friendly service. At the front desk, give your name, room number, and sign the sign in sheet. You are given a key to your own locker that has a robe and disposable slippers to use. Bathroom has complimentary small individual mouthwash and lotion. Vanity area has nice mirrors, small clear packs (containing a file, 2 cotton balls and 2 q-tips), hair dryer, sanitation station, hairspray and deodorant spray. Shower area has about 6 stalls, each equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and shaving cream. All of which I got to use :) I loved the steam room!! It was my first experience ever and enjoyed it. I sat and laid down on the upper level which had a little bit more breathing room for me lol. It had a eucalyptus type smell. Then hopped over to the sauna, then hit the showers. After getting ready, we headed over the relaxation room, relaxed on the couch, read magazines and enjoyed some complimentary hot tea with honey, and lemon water (which is located down the hall for you to choose). I felt soooo relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards :) Would totally stay at Westin any day because of this spa! read more

The husband spoiled me with an hour couple massage and it was one of the best couple massage ever. The waiting room is very tranquil and peaceful, makes you want to just fall asleep. They also provide water and little snacks to munch on. The bathroom is just another beauty with lockers and very nice showers. The massage that we got was just perfect, it was Swedish, not too hard and not to soft either. Both my friend and I went to the salon for a 50 minute massages each. We both agreed that it was one of the worst massages we've had and we had two different people! I had a man and my friend had a woman therapist. The therapists were very rushed so it was not a relaxing experience in the least and a full body body massage was not completed despite the rushed effort. In addition, neither of them were friendly. The only nice thing we can say is that the relaxation rooms were nice but we didn't hang out because we didn't feel welcomed. It felt like we were part of an assembly line, but we were the only two there! We didn't see anybody else. It was strange. The receptionist ask us how we enjoyed our massages. We told her we really didn't she said nothing! Very strange! Why ask if you really don't care. We still tipped 20% but we shouldn't have. Good massage & nice spa but terrible customer service. I booked my appointment over 6 weeks ago after my husband got me a groupon for a 50 minute Swedish massage for when were came to town. The groupon said to call & mention the deal so that is what I did. After a great massage I went to check out & reminded them of my groupon as I pulled it up on my phone. i was told they had no record of me wanting to use a groupon so I could not use it. i said I must have mentioned it, & I was told if I had mentioned the groupon they would have sent me a confirmation email. I went through my emails & found it, but when I pointed out the email I was told if it didn't mention the groupon then I must not have said anything about it when booking. I asked if I received the massage the groupon covered & was told yes. I said I didn't understand the issue then. Couldn't they scan my voucher & get their money like every other business that offers groupons? I was told it doesn't work this way. I have used groupon before & that is exactly how it worked. When I still asked why I couldn't use my groupon & the company still get their money, the employee said she wasn't able to reach the manager to ask if she could accept it. The employee did call the lady who took my appointment 6 weeks earlier & she said I never mentioned the groupon. Really? She remembers our conversation from amongst all the other appointments being made in the last 6 weeks? She said since I ran the half marathon I could get a 15% discount runners received & I could get a refund from groupon. She explained I would only be paying $7.50 more. Well since groupon only likes giving credit it is not like I will get a refund. I will have to buy more groupons & risk whether or not the business will accept it. So as of now i am out the cost of the massage plus $90. So despite this being a lovely spa, when i am back in town I will patronize another location. If they don't like groupons they shouldn't offer them. read more

Massage was great! Masseuse was the nicest and most professional employee in the place. Spa is clean but very basic. Steam room, sauna and showers were nice. They provide granola bars, trail mix and a few little snacks and canned juice and mini bottles of water . Blow dryer, straighter and curling iron are available to use but no brush which I found odd. They do provide small combs. Front desk girls kept going in and out of the area using the restroom which I thought was inappropriate. Self parking was closed and I had to reason with the valet attendant about validation for parking because I'm a local and was not about to pay to park when I paid enough to go to the spa for a massage. Finally I had to get the hotel front desk attendant to deal with valet and my parking was free. I wouldn't return due to the hassle about parking and lack of amenities in the spa. No pool or gym or jacuzzi use allowed unless you are a hotel guest. read more

At one point, I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or awake (those eye masks really do a number on you) when I realized that my dreams don't have soundtracks by Coldplay. A few notes to keep in mind: * If you are staying at the Westin, the spa facility is open to 8pm. Go get a workout down in their fitness area and come here to freshen up. * The steam room takes time to start up, but once it's activated you'd think you were in fog city (Daly City to those who catch my drift). * There's free flowing Tazo teas, fruit juices, orange flavored chocolates, and samples of Biore and Intuition shavers waiting for you. * 20% is automatically added to spa treatments to cover gratuity, and they don't ask if you want to add more. * Lockers are narrow, so pack your necessary toiletries and make-up and that's it. * Pool and jacuzzi are just around the corner from the spa and up the ramp. * They take Spa Finder gift certificates (thanks Andrea!) read more

There were a few Groupon deals and I debated which spa to checkout. I called a couple places, and after talking to Alicia at Hibiscus, I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! It is an absolute hidden gem! Just a heads up tho.. It is located at the Westin hotel, a block or block and 1/2 off strip. The hotel is a bit on the meh side (I prob wouldn't stay here), but as soon as u step into the spa lobby the environment completely changes. Everything seems so fresh and new. My Hibiscus Spa experience was excellent! Worth taking a short cab ride or a quick walk from the Linq area. Facility/Amenities - Looks, smells, and feels new. They have a steam room, dry sauna, 4 shower stalls, 3 bathroom stalls, 3 sinks, and a small vanity area for 2 people. I didn't checkout the outdoor pool/spa area so I can't comment on it, except that I saw some folks headed to a pool somewhere. They have most of the typical spa toiletries available (except for hair bands), but if you don't see something (e.g. razors), just ask one of the attendants. They'll prob have it in their supply room. Massage- I got an awesome massage from Lynn. I usually get a massage twice a month and told her my specific needs. She knew exactly what I needed and was able to come thru exceptionally. I'll def ask for her again. Customer service- I had a few questions about the Groupon deal. I wanted to make sure it was valid and they had time slots available for it. Alicia was very knowledgeable, polite, helpful, and scheduled my appointment. She informed me that she wouldn't be here when I checked in but that Geneva would be here to take care of me. And when I checked in, Geneva was there, offered to hold my luggage in a secure place, and showed me to the locker room. I also ran into the Spa director, Rachel, who was very involved in helping replenish the water, toiletries, etc for the guests. She and I chatted a little bit and it was nice to see someone in management being so hands on and present. I def felt the customer service here. read more

My massage therapist, Cyndi Winslow, was awesome. She made sure I had a relaxing experience and that was definitely a plus. The Hibiscus Spa is small - offers a full locker room, sauna, steam room, and showers. The relaxation room was awesome - I got to read my book while waiting for my appointment to begin. The lighting was perfect as I could have taken a nap right there. And because I am a Starwood Preferred Guest member - I got points toward any hotel stay for booking a massage over the weekend. The day of the massage, I wish we arrived earlier because you can go to the steam room and relax but we had a pretty busy afternoon after our massage.the women and men have access to the locker rooms separated. They offer a robe to walk to the massage room. You have the option to choose between 3 different oils. The masseuse asked in advance if I wanted a specific part of the body that she should focus on. This was a treat to myself while my husband was at a convention. The appointment was easy to make. There was no waiting once I arrived and the Professional, Aleisha, that provided my pedicure, was just that: professional. Aleisha was ready the moment I walked in and genuinely enjoys what she does. This was the Paradise Pedicure which involves a coconut milk soak, sugar scrub exfoliation of feet and lower leg and a warm body butter brushed on to the feet followed by a warm towel wrapped on each. The smell... Mmmmm. The products were from their Figi line. Once that's done, I received a foot and lower leg massage, followed by meticulous polish. Aleisha shares that she really enjoys working here. The Spa has just been refurbished and I got to peak in some of the areas. It is BEAUTIFUL. Softly lit, and spacious with a relaxation room, individual rooms for massages (they offer all types) and wraps. It looks as though they have about every service you could want, from waxing, hair, makeup to skin, nail and massage. I think the best part was how comfortable I felt. I had an amazing spa experience here. The only downfall was that the jacuzzi and pool was closed for the season. This should already be part of the spa facility! But all in all, the experience was still awesome. My friends and I decided to celebrate a 30th birthday here and we purchased the Groupon to try this place out. What a delight! We each had 50 minute Swedish massages and all of us were happy with the results. Cyndi was my massage therapist. She was extremely helpful in helping me understand exactly what my body needs, and what I would be a great candidate for; for example Yoga. She talked to me about many things related to my back and massages. I like it when your therapist really tries to understand where your issues are and what they can do to help you resolve them, or give you advice. She was super nice, and very knowledgeable. After our massages, we all headed to the sauna and steam rooms. We even hung out in the relaxation room for awhile munching on trail mix, drinking juice, chomping on apples and pears, and reading magazines. The relaxation room is very peaceful! The changing room is just the right size, and they have great amenities such as a brand new mach 3 razor right in your locker, leaf shaped soaps, vanity kits complete with ear swabs, and cotton, and shower caps and such. They had great robes, soft slippers, and an abundance of towels of different sizes; even cold towels for the steam room. I began my spa experience after my workout at the hotel gym. I learned that as a guest of the hotel I was allowed to use their amenities. Tonya was very sweet and escorted me back where I was shown to the Relaxation Room, Meditation Room, sauna and steam room. I was assigned a locker and provided with a very comfy robe and slippers. The ambience was very relaxing and exactly what I needed. Aside from the normal complimentary fruit infused water, they also had apples, granola and tea options. After my steam and sauna trips (which looked well maintained and clean) I decided to check out the Relaxation Room. Upon my arrival I discovered several comfy couches with lots of pillows and even a few blankets. There were reading materials but I went for the adult coloring book. One of the nicest spa experiences I've ever had. I had a very nice deep tissue sports massage that really fixed a lot of issues in my back and legs. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the facilities, though. The locker rooms and relaxation rooms were very nice. I got my massage this morning by Shamra S. I can't begin to express how awesomely amazing she is! Last year I had a massage at Cesar's Palace spa and that one doesn't compare to the Westin massage I got. Shamra was very professional she gave me pointers on what to do for my sore neck after I go home. she was so sweet and she really took care of me she was absolutely professional and amazing at what she does her hands r like gold! When I'm back I will defiantly see her again! The ladies at the front check in desk are super sweet too just the absolute best customer service ! Amazing time at the hibiscus spa! I booked my massage for the last day of my vacation to "recover" from the delights of Vegas and it was one of the smartest things I've ever done. My massage was excellent! Cindy really knows her craft, and I was a puddle afterward. I really like that she has a quiet, calm presence. The relaxation room was wonderful; I read my book and had tea and an apple while I waited. I wish I'd gotten there an hour prior so I could have sat in the sauna but I sure enjoyed my 20 minutes in there after my massage. There was also a steam room but I prefer saunas. Since I was planning to catch my flight home that afternoon, it was so nice to have a huge shower to clean up in, with fluffy towels and robes. This is a smaller spa located right off the strip, my therapists name was Trish. She was very good the other pressure was firm throughout and she had great flow. The spa was impeccably clean and very well kept. I didn't have time to use the facilities but maybe next time. If you are looking for a spa close to the strip that isn't super overpriced but has all the amenities of the larger spas this is your best bet. read more

In the brochure and in pictures it states that they offer fruit infused water, an assortment of teas and snacks - all of those were missing. There was no eucalyptus in the steam room and the sauna was out of order (on top of that they were very small). Upon checking in at 4:30 on a Friday with the bride for a massage to begin her bachelorette weekend, we were greeted by I believe Rachel and Whitney. The matron of honor had purchased a groupon for the bride's massage and a spa pass for me to use. I must say that both women were very friendly and welcoming to us and made sure to show us around the spa. I opted for some sauna action while my friend got her massage. Even the robes and slippers we used were very comfortable and cozy to walk around in. My friend said that Marcella did an excellent job working her shoulders out and even read "deep into her soul" about herself as a Pisces and her husband. This place is fantastic! I was staying at The Westin while on a work trip to Las Vegas. I have been to a few nice spas in Vegas, so I know what I'm comparing this place to, and it stands up to any one of them. As anyone who has ever visited Vegas knows, there is A LOT of walking involved. I could barely move my last day there, so I did some research and found the Foot Refresh service that just happened to be offered at the spa inside my hotel. Talk about luck! I made an appointment and could not wait to go. I arrived about 45 minutes early so that I could check out the relaxation room. They give you a very comfy robe and slippers to wear. I helped myself to some fruit and lemon flavored water and waited for my appointment time. The woman who did my service was very friendly. We chatted the entire time. When I stood up, I could immediately feel the difference in my calves and feet. I instantly felt better! I loved my experience here and will be back next time I'm in Vegas and need some TLC! read more

I found this spa on Groupon. My sister and I wanted a spa day but they were all booked so we just got the day pass without any service. It was really nice! We had the outdoor jacuzzi and pool to ourselves. The lounge chairs are very comfortable and access to towels was nice. We went into the locker room for a nice steam after swimming and then took a hot shower in those big stand in showers. Only thing I thought was odd is that they have shaving cream in all the showers but no razor blades anywhere. Are you suppose to bring your own? I would recommend that they leave hair product in the locker room and more than one conair blowdryer but other than that it was a very relaxing and Inexpensive experience. I had purchased a Groupon for a 50 minute massage and when I called to make an appointment, Whitney at the reception desk was able to fit me in. They offered a generous 20% off for an 80 minute massage, as I wasn't able to use the Groupon at that point. My masseuse was Marcella, she was WONDERFUL. My Back and neck had been very tense/full of knots from sleeping on too soft pillows. She listened to my requests and also made sure I was comfortable through the massage. I felt so relaxed, it was truly the best massage I have had in my life. Since I still had the Groupon, I called back the next day and Whitney got me in with Marcella again for the 50minute massage. I was still tense in my shoulders from the soft pillows, and she brought out the hot stones to try to loosen them up. WOW, that was wonderful! She was very easy to talk to and I enjoyed our conversation (I usually don't chat while having a massage, I like the relaxing experience - but I had that the day before!) Thank you Marcella, I truly enjoyed the massage and it was a pleasure to meet you!
