This is my absolute favorite breakfast/lunch spot in the Tannersville area!! Their food is absolutely delicious!! Their bread is fresh baked and you can absolutely taste the freshness!! Today I was here for lunch. I had the soup of the day which was beef minestrone. It was so good!! I had the Monterey Chicken Panini and it came with a side of fresh made pasta salad, but you can also choose Cajun coleslaw or chips. It was absolutely delicious!! I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!!

Food is alright. It suffices for what it is, its convenience, and its price point. I tried the Egg Platter breakfast and some of the pancakes. The Yukan gold potato and sweet potato "fries" aren't really fries -- they're like soft potato chunks / hash. They were well-seasoned and delicious. The pancakes were okay. They were fluffy but pretty dry and on the denser side. The syrup wasn't too sweet, which I liked. The "special" pancakes, which cost $1 more, were disappointing. We tried the apple cinnamon pancake and chocolate chip pancake. The chocolate chip pancake was as expected, but the apple cinnamon sounds like it's be more elaborate, but it was just the regular pancake batter with thin slices of apple mixed in and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. The cinnamon and apple flavor was not noticeable. I would imagine their other "special" pancakes to be just as basic. They do just cost $1 more, so we shouldn't have had high expectations anyways. Service was good. The dining area can get a little loud (pretty echo-y), and the sounds of the seats against the floor can be a bit jarring. Overall, not bad, but wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Very simple and convenient.

It's an eatery I've passed by for years, saying I will try it one day. One day was today. I'm impressed here. It's a neat little establishment with a charming atmosphere. I like the support of local artists, with art from artists from the area available to purchase. I ordered the grilled cheese and pasta salad, which tasted exceptionally great. A great experience all around, and I highly recommend eating here in the Mt Pocono area. It is a little pricier for around the area, but the food and atmosphere justify this for me.

    Mushroom soup today's special

What a nice little cafe! Perfect blend of rustic and trendy. Great specials including a mushroom soup and the 'skillet eggs' dish hit the spot. Sweet potato home fries are an option along with multi grain bread. Cage free eggs. If you're looking for a 'grand slam' type breakfast you can get that too. We were passing through the area so this was a breakfast stop, but the lunch items looked good too. Calming cheery decor that recalls a continental cafe, with beautiful artwork on display that's also available for purchase. Local artists undoubtedly! Our table top was painted with flags of many nations with the word for 'coffee' in each language. Service was cheerful and prompt, gender-neutral solo bathrooms very clean. Choose this place and you'll be glad you did!

Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. Cute little spot with affordable Prices. We stopped here while staying at Great Wolf Lodge (because their breakfast is awful). This was a great surprise and we will definitely be back!

Monterey Chicken Sandwich on Gluten Free Bread
    Julie R.

This casual, unassuming restaurant has a very welcoming staff. I was surprised they had several gluten free options, including pancakes, home fries, chili, sandwiches and more. I had the Monterey chicken sandwich, which was two sandwiches given the small bread. It was good. The side of cole slaw was tasty. I would go back to try the pancakes and other items.

Nice place & wonderful friendly staff. Meals were great! Thank you! A bit loud, kids are welcome. They could be more options with with beef steaks, Turkey bacon & more modern breakfast options. Even some simple morning adult drinks would be awesome! Enjoyed the pancakes!! Sweet potato home fries were grea also! Bathrooms clean.

We ordered their salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli, Chicken Française with a side of potato wedges, a side salad, Grilled cheeses with french fries for the kids, tuna melt, cheese curds, and a sandwich off their special menu I can't remember the name. The sandwiches came with bagged kettle cooked chips! I wasn't able to picture everything because everyone had mostly scoffed their food down immediately. Lol. Definitely recommend their brownie sundae for dessert, with their Double Dunker ice cream! SO GOOD! I also included a video of one of our rowdy kiddos having a good time with her food! Super worth it dining experience, I will say there is absolutely no signal to use your cellphone, so more family bonding haha. This place is amazing and would definitely come back.

The limited menu centers on straightforward, easy-to-eat sandwiches and highly customizable flatbread pizzas, all complemented by the signature adult beverages brewed or distilled by the Barley Creek organization. The ambiance is decidedly casual and built for hanging out, featuring plenty of TVs tuned to sports and Pennsylvania lottery games, a couple of arcade games, a foosball table, and cornhole boards that make stopping by more of an experience than just a quick meal. For food, I opted for the chicken salad varietal of the Deli Sandwich ($12), served with lettuce and tomato on rustic white toast alongside potato chips, while my dining companion went with the tuna salad varietal of the Deli Sandwich. Both of us thought our basic sandwiches were well executed. I also took advantage of the Sunday Happy Hour from 12pm til 3pm and ordered a half-price pint of the Barley Creek Navigator Gold beer, a easy-drinking American blonde/golden ale that's very similar to Budweiser's flagship brew. The food and beer hit the spot for a casual lunch, but the service kept this from being a top-notch experience. Our server was noticeably stretched thin managing multiple tables plus a full bar. Basic details fell through the cracks -- I had get up and physically chase her down to ask for silverware and ended up with just a single fork delivered by another server. Payment was another bottleneck: after another server dropped the check, I was left standing awkwardly at the register for a few minutes while the service team juggled the other dining parties. All in all, it's a solid 3-star spot for the family-friendly vibe and solid food -- just be prepared for potential lulls in service when they're busy.

Once seated, we were greeted promptly with water and our server took our initial drink, appetizer, and dinner orders without issue. The appetizers arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but after that, the service began to decline. We had to ask twice just to order a second round of drinks. When the entrees arrived, everyone at the table received their meal except me. The server asked if everyone had their food, and I told her that I was still waiting for my Steak Frites special. She checked her order book, said something, and walked away. Unfortunately, no one returned to update us. After waiting another 10 minutes, I encouraged the rest of my family and friends to begin eating so their meals wouldn't get cold. When there was still no update, I flagged down another server, who said they would check with the kitchen. A few minutes later, they returned and said they weren't sure what had happened but that my meal was being prepared. After another 10 minutes passed, I asked to speak with a manager. I was told there wasn't a manager available and that they understood my frustration. By this point, it was nearly 9:30 p.m., my entire table had nearly finished eating, and I still hadn't received my dinner. When my steak finally arrived, it wasn't what I had ordered. I had ordered the NY Strip Steak Frites special but instead received a 10-ounce sirloin. Again, the explanation was simply that they weren't sure what had happened--perhaps another guest had received my order or there had been a mistake in the kitchen. To the restaurant's credit, they removed my steak from the bill. However, what disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself--it was the lack of communication and customer service. Throughout the entire situation, no one came back to provide updates, apologize directly, or offer a meaningful resolution. In fact, my server never spoke to me directly about the issue after realizing there had been a problem; I learned my meal had been removed from the bill through another member of our party. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, especially on a busy night. What leaves a lasting impression is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, while the food we did receive was good, the customer service fell well short of what I expected.
