The vintage setting was sharp and scratched people and tore clothing. We had it filed down but it still clawed my newborn baby. For my 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to try to find a way to use the diamond but in a setting that I might be able to wear. I wanted something low-profile, with a vintage look, that wasn't too flashy but that fit a decent sized diamond. I figured we'd just go in to a place and pick something out, but it turned out that I was incredibly particular about something that would be on my finger all the time. We went through a lot to find this ring. Kit worked tirelessly to find a ring that I would like. Ultimately, he worked with far-away colleagues to find multiple antique rings, one of which I fell in love with, and then his craftsman remade it to fit me perfectly. It is gorgeous, and, I have now worn it every day for six months. I am a dancer, and I can even wear it in the studio. I still glance down at my hand fairly often and admire how much I love this ring. Kit was an utter joy to work with. He is also fair, honest, and kind. I cannot speak highly enough of him, and I am incredibly grateful to him for helping me find a ring I love.
