One of the few places that's open late for cocktails and drinks. It's literally hidden behind another restaurant, but follow the signs and you'll have no issues finding it. There was no hostess at the podium entrance, so my friends and I sat ourselves. Our server eventually took our orders. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop. Ugh it was sooooooo sweet and the rim had a mixture of salt and sugar! Mediocre drinks, but the live country musician made up for it. He had an awesome voice!

We came for Sunday brunch and while other restaurants were slammed with an hour wait, we were seated here right away. We did wait a bit for our food due to the brunch rush, but personally I don't mind waiting knowing that it was a busy time and they kept our coffees filled. We sat on picnic tables on the patio, but they also had tables with chairs. They brought out water bowls for the dogs, which we appreciated. The food was delicious. We had the avocado toast and the omelet. Would love to come back and try the French toast.

The outside is nice but honestly this place really isn't it the waitress aren't nice about the food and what you want . If there is a large group everyone has to be under the same tab no matter what if you go to the bar or if you order from the table. The food is okay the environment is nice but the staff isn't really welcoming to people that are out of town people. I would say maybe just come for live music and the cheap white claws otherwise pass.

We sat at the bar with michael as our bartender at first. He had an issue with a ticket for another group so we got moved over to a new girl and she was SO SWEET! It was her first day when we went but she is an experienced server and you could tell!! :) My boyfriend got a burger and I got a buffalo chicken wrap and yall.... So good. Outdoor area is nice with TVs but the bar area is small, bunch of tvs too. Seems like a great afternoon spot. They also always have live music when we walk by on the weekends!

We dropped in on a late arrival to Fredericksburg, we heard some great music coming from a place called Hidden Hideaway. We asked the bartender Hunter for a couple of old fashioned whiskey drinks and he severed us the most amazing Ranger Creek old Fashioned. The conversation was great he made our stop very enjoyable. Definitely give this place a try next time you are in Fredericksburg, Texas.

After a day of checking out some of Fredericksburg's fine wineries with a group of friends, there were four lone survivors who wanted to keep the day going by hopping around Main St. At some point the hunger pangs hit and we knew it was probably a good idea to get some food in our bellies. Hidden Hideaway was next door to the winery we were at so we walked on over. It really is hidden being that is not right on the street. It is tucked away behind another building. Walking up we noticed the gorgeous patio with a tree smack dab in the middle. Later in the night, the place lit up for a very relaxing and cozy atmosphere. We also very much enjoyed the live music as well. If you didn't know already, you are allowed to walk the streets with a drink in hand. We walked up and was told there would be a wait which we were not mad about since we did have drinks in hand. Well, our seats became ready almost immediately after so we were told we had to drink up or throw away our drinks. I'm sure the staff was just following protocols, but it was a slight inconvenience. Other than that, customer service was good. I glanced at the drink menu and the Dreamsicle caught my attention. I love drinks with egg whites in it because of the creamy consistency and this drink was perfectly. It was light and refreshing and a nice change from the abundance of wine I had throughout the day. My tablemates all seemed to enjoy their drinks as well. The food menu isn't large at all. I would say it's elevated bar food. I ordered a cheeseburger that was very good. Everyone devoured their food and enjoyed it. This was truly a hidden gem that I am glad we stumbled upon. I would come back when in the area.

    Good ambiance out here.

Everything here is . The service was just OK. I want another one of those crunchy quesadillas. This place has great fried battered onion rings and pickles. They're crunchy, and the flavor is on point.

    A special.. 15 wings in 2 flavors.

I was looking for a restaurant on here, where to eat with my boyfriend after we'd gone to a couple of vineyards. We were pretty hangry. We saw a couple of pictures from their menu and what caught our eye were the cocktails. I ordered a banana boat cocktail... BEST DRINK. It was delicious. Then the food... my goodness.. the wings were the perfect amount of spicy. The area was so cute. We had a gentleman named, Blake, who attended us and was so kind & attentive. Us and our stomaches left happy.

Meh. Typical bar food, nothing special. Not terrible. Very quick to be seated. Big outdoor seating area. We did appreciate they did brunch until 2pm! We had a hard time finding breakfast tacos.

Unfortunately, this experience felt less like a restaurant opening and more like a dress rehearsal no one stopped. First problem: location confusion. We went to what turned out to be their second spot--which, crucially, was not called Nurys on the sign. Same ownership, new space, old identity crisis. Walking in felt like entering a building that hadn't yet decided what it wanted to be when it grew up. The lingering aroma? A strange duet of fish, antiseptic, and industrial cleaning agents. Not hunger-inducing. More "urgent care with a fryer." There was no one there, which made sense--it was between brunch and lunch--but somehow the wait for food felt disproportionately long for what arrived. What arrived, sadly, was mediocrity wearing a Tex-Mex costume. They seemed to be aiming for Tex-Mex but landed somewhere closer to Tex-Flex--stretching flavors thin until they snapped. The barbacoa was fatty in a way that suggested less "slow-cooked tradition" and more "glistening regret." It didn't taste authentic, or even especially intentional. Just heavy. The guacamole--perhaps the most unforgivable offense--was bad. Guacamole is avocados, salt, lime, and love. That's it. This had none of the above. The waitstaff wasn't rude, exactly--just possessed by the clear energy of people who would prefer you to finish quickly so they could resume their real lives. Hospitality should feel like an invitation, not a countdown. Now, maybe the original Nurys is wonderful. I hope it is. But if that's the case, why open a second location only to phone it in? Expansion should mean excellence multiplied, not care divided. There are too many good places in Fredericksburg doing things right to settle for something half-hearted. This one wasn't terrible--it was worse. It was forgettable. And that's the real disappointment.

Right away, the service felt off. Our waitress didn't even ask if we wanted drinks before jumping straight to, "Are you ready to order food?" Then she disappeared for long periods, even though we were basically her only table besides one other couple. The food was extremely underwhelming -- basic, barely warm, and nothing memorable. On top of that, there were so many flies inside that we were nonstop swatting them away. And to make matters worse, there was a bug in my drink when it was served to me. That was pretty much the final straw. Overall, a very forgettable and disappointing experience. We probably won't come again, and I would not recommend it.

I love the set up of the main dining room. I'm always a fan when you can see the kitchen preparing the dishes from your table. Hill and vine pairs their excellent food with some amazing local wines. We tried the William Chris to pair with the pork chop (which was excellent). We started the meal out with the mahi ceviche. What a flavor bomb! Highly recommend. Service was perfect. Attentive, but not overly so. I always think the price is very fair considering the quality of ingredients and the care put into the dishes. Will be back for sure when in the hill country.

We had Kristen as our server, she was so attentive and sweet. To start we tried the sweet cornbread, lavender mint lemonade, and regular lemonade. The lavender mint lemonade was one of the best drinks I've had in a while. For our meals he had the BLTA with fries and I had the avocado and lime salad with tri tip steak. Absolutely stellar food, quality ingredients and great flavors. We had leftovers for sure, lol, something to eat on the drive back to DFW the next day. For dinner, we sat outside and had Jess as our server. She was also really nice, she had quite a few tables and still managed to give us plenty of attention. We had carnitas nachos and the ground beef soup. The carnitas nachos are... unnecessarily large. lol Luckily the soup bowl was very small so I was able to help the boyfriend with some nachos. But my small effort was not enough and he tapped out of the nachos at the halfway mark. Highly recommend the nachos if you have four friends with you. =D This was a great restaurant with a lovely outdoor space. If we lived in Fredericksburg, I could easily see us making this a monthly hang out on Friday nights. If you have the chance, make sure to get in with Kristen or Jess, you won't be disappointed.
