This is a nice spot if you're looking for a traditional breakfast. Overall, the food was decent, though I think it has room for improvement. I wish the chocolate chip pancake had more chocolate, the breakfast potatoes had a bit more seasoning, and the bread was fresher since it tasted a little stale. That said, I think this restaurant has a lot of potential and it's in a great location. The highlight of our visit was the service--Kevin was absolutely amazing and one of the most attentive servers we've had in a long time. His friendly and attentive service made the experience much more enjoyable. We'd definitely come back to try some different items on the menu and see what else they have to offer.

This French toast was one of the best I've ver had! Perfectly soft but not soggy. Biscuit in the biscuits and gravy was made to perfection! Everything was a 10/10. The staff was so friendly and quick to attend to us even on a busy Sunday morning

So. We parked on Main Street, thinking this place was closer. Nope, but well worth the walk. The walk back was nice as our bellies were full. Bennys were delicious! Potatoes were alright, but they were the side so no big deal. Burger was a high 7/8 - my husband was a little overwhelmed by all the flavors going on. The Mexican coffee was yummy. We will be back!

My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday morning around 8:30 and were seated right away! Our server Cassie greeted us almost immediately and was friendly and attentive from start to finish. She really made the experience. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, substituting bacon for ham, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The Eggs Benedict was good. I loved the unexpected touch of Swiss cheese, which added a nice twist to a classic dish. The hollandaise was a little on the sour side, but the bacon was cooked perfectly. The biscuit and gravy was the real star of my meal, so good that I almost wish I had ordered it as my main! Definitely getting that next time. My husband went for The Big Ass Sandwich and loved it. Fair warning- it lives up to its name. It's big, it's messy, and it's absolutely worth it. He said the same thing I was thinking: we need to come back. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast spot with good food and even better service!

This is our favorite brunch in Fred. Sam has taken care of us many times and she's wonderful! The whole staff here is top notch. They updated their porch to have more coverage which will be great once summer really hits. Inside is great too. We've sat in all the areas. We went all out for our brunch date (mom & dad time out). Cold brew with vanilla, caramel iced latte... yummmm! We started with zucchini fries and they were hot, crunchy and delicious. I had the brunch burger (it was huge!) with sweet potato fries. I love their sweet potato fries. Husband tried the special- biscuit love - says it's good for anyone who loves gravy and brunch dessert was the banana French toast - we got the banana on the side and a side of berries. Yum yum yum. Soft and pillowy. Thank you Sam! See you soon :)

This place is bustling! Even on a Monday morning (granted, it was spring break for many), but plan accordingly as there could be a wait. There's not a lot of parking either; it's like random fields/areas. The overall size of the restaurant isn't all that big either, so be aware of how noisy it could be. Anyway, we ordered a couple pancake plates that were larger in size. Kids said they were fine. Another ordered the eggs and bacon, which consisted of two eggs, a little bacon, toast, and some potatoes. Nothing ground breaking, but seemed sufficient. I ordered the TBLTA, which was a turkey sandwich, bacon, and avocado. The portion seemed reasonable for the price. Overall, the food was good for what it was and the place was turning tables like nobody's business.

Worth the wait, the line is long but the food is so good! They have a cute patio, and the airing area is accommodating where you can sip a cocktail while you wait for your table! The grilled biscuit and bacon are my go to, but get the banana French toast for the table...it's so good but a little sweet to eat on your own. You won't leave hungry, portions are substantial, and the word watching is always fun...full of girls trips, bridesmaids, people recovering from a fun evening out, and plenty of families of all ages!

Loved it! It's been a number of years since our last visit. At that time, they were in a different location. This location is SO much better. Lots of seating - indoors and outdoors. Dog friendly outdoors too. The service - wow. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Our server, Maria A was amazing. We arrived about 9:30 AM on a Monday morning. Being a holiday, Presidents' Day, it was quite busy. I thought we'd have to wait quite a while but surprisingly there were some open tables inside. Being a nice sunny morning a lot of the outdoor seating was pretty full. Our party of four was seated quickly. Water came, followed quickly by coffee. Someone was always making the rounds with the coffee pot. That was nice. My wife and I shared a breakfast as follows: - California omelette with sourdough toast - Single pancake with blueberries I'd say the omelette was decent. Four out of five. It had good flavor. The way they make them here is slightly dry, but still decent. Next time I'll ask for mine to be less dry on the outside. The pancake was really good. Nice and fluffy and flavorful. We're so happy we returned to Sunset Grill for breakfast this year and we look forward to eating there on our next visit to Fredericksburg.

We kicked off our bachelorette trip with brunch at Sunset Grill, and while it didn't blow us away, it was a solid start to a fun weekend! First, the vibes: the restaurant is cozy and charming -- exactly the kind of spot you'd want for a relaxed girls' brunch. Our waitress was sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. Now, the food was a bit of a mixed bag. The bacon? Absolutely on point -- crispy, savory, no notes. And the Mexican coffee was a delightful surprise -- rich, flavorful, and the perfect way to ease into the morning. The French toast had a great foundation, but I was hoping for more of a true banana foster experience -- caramelized, charred bananas with a glossy glaze. Instead, the bananas came as-is, which felt like a missed opportunity to really elevate the dish. A little time in the pan would go a long way! The breakfast potatoes were the low point -- they came out a little overcooked and underseasoned, which is an easy fix but made them hard to get excited about. Overall, Sunset Grill has a lot of charm and the service was genuinely warm.

Sunset grill was a great post-winery hungover breakfast. Food is decent but the vibes are impeccable. We were on the patio and had amazing service despite it being so so busy.

This became our go to brunch spot when we are in Fredricksburg. We were seated immediately because they have a ton of tables, which is a huge plus in this town. We sat on the dog-friendly patio and the service was incredibly quick. The food was 10/10--everything tasted so fresh. I highly recommend the Señorita Omelette (it's loaded with veggies and super flavorful) and the Avocado Toast, which was absolute fire. Don't skip the fresh-squeezed juices! Plus, plenty of parking out front made the whole experience stress-free.

This was a nice spot for brunch.. we sat outside and it made for a nice relaxing morning. Food was really good. My friends were so impressed by the breakfast potatoes, they were delicious.

Cute cafe with more of a diner feel inside, but they have a big outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The menu has plenty of options, making it so hard to choose from because everything sounds so good. I got the yogurt and granola bowl, wow it was really fresh and a pretty big portion. My mom ordered the TBLTA and she really liked it, plus the vinaigrette on her salad was so good! Highly recommend giving this place a try.

We had Kristen as our server, she was so attentive and sweet. To start we tried the sweet cornbread, lavender mint lemonade, and regular lemonade. The lavender mint lemonade was one of the best drinks I've had in a while. For our meals he had the BLTA with fries and I had the avocado and lime salad with tri tip steak. Absolutely stellar food, quality ingredients and great flavors. We had leftovers for sure, lol, something to eat on the drive back to DFW the next day. For dinner, we sat outside and had Jess as our server. She was also really nice, she had quite a few tables and still managed to give us plenty of attention. We had carnitas nachos and the ground beef soup. The carnitas nachos are... unnecessarily large. lol Luckily the soup bowl was very small so I was able to help the boyfriend with some nachos. But my small effort was not enough and he tapped out of the nachos at the halfway mark. Highly recommend the nachos if you have four friends with you. =D This was a great restaurant with a lovely outdoor space. If we lived in Fredericksburg, I could easily see us making this a monthly hang out on Friday nights. If you have the chance, make sure to get in with Kristen or Jess, you won't be disappointed.

Vibe is euro-bistro and the staff is perfectly attentive. Prices are high, but honestly aligned to the quality of the food, at least the dishes we had were worth the prices. Food: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with Onion/Bacon flash fried collard greens, whipped potatoes and house gravy and Jalapeno Cornbread for $32 Reuben on Marble Rye for $24 16oz Stella Artois for $10 We agreed that the fried chicken (5/5) was the best we could remember having. Whipped potatoes (5/5) were light, fluffy and perfect taste/texture. The gravy was like brown butter (5/5). The collard greens (5/5) were flash fried and if you've never had them like this, it's like eating collard green potato chips. Cornbread (3/4) was a bit too delicate and sweet for our taste. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. The Ruben (3/5). My wife loves a good Ruben sandwich. This one had the makings of a good one, but they use a Thousand Island sauce (too much of it) on the sandwich, and it hides the flavor of the meat. Next time we would ask for the sandwich without the TI sauce, see if that improves the rating. The sandwich came with house made potato chips (5/5), a small house salad with vinaigrette (5/5) and a large, pickled cucumber. I know, that's a pickle, but these are cucumbers that have gone maybe a third of the way through the process, so the cucumber taste is really prevalent. Lastly, we had the Creme Brulé (3/5) for dessert. It was nice, but the custard was coffee and caramel flavored, and we prefer the standard custard look and flavor. The caramel should come from the top layer, not the custard. The top layer was a bit too thick as well. We liked it, just didn't love it. Overall, quality food, service and vibe with prices that are aligned to more special occasions than everyday eating out. We'll be back to try the Monday Crawfish Etoufee and the Tuesday Duck Confit daily specials...look too good to pass up.

It came with the cubed home fries and fresh fruit. The eggs were prepared well and the Hollandaise sauce was very flavorful - a great choice. While the cubed home fries didn't have anything that made them 'special' they were prepared perfectly with a bit of crispiness on the outside and soft inside. The flavor was good. The fresh fruit consisted of grapes, blueberries, cantaloupe and pineapple - all of which was fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, this experience felt less like a restaurant opening and more like a dress rehearsal no one stopped. First problem: location confusion. We went to what turned out to be their second spot--which, crucially, was not called Nurys on the sign. Same ownership, new space, old identity crisis. Walking in felt like entering a building that hadn't yet decided what it wanted to be when it grew up. The lingering aroma? A strange duet of fish, antiseptic, and industrial cleaning agents. Not hunger-inducing. More "urgent care with a fryer." There was no one there, which made sense--it was between brunch and lunch--but somehow the wait for food felt disproportionately long for what arrived. What arrived, sadly, was mediocrity wearing a Tex-Mex costume. They seemed to be aiming for Tex-Mex but landed somewhere closer to Tex-Flex--stretching flavors thin until they snapped. The barbacoa was fatty in a way that suggested less "slow-cooked tradition" and more "glistening regret." It didn't taste authentic, or even especially intentional. Just heavy. The guacamole--perhaps the most unforgivable offense--was bad. Guacamole is avocados, salt, lime, and love. That's it. This had none of the above. The waitstaff wasn't rude, exactly--just possessed by the clear energy of people who would prefer you to finish quickly so they could resume their real lives. Hospitality should feel like an invitation, not a countdown. Now, maybe the original Nurys is wonderful. I hope it is. But if that's the case, why open a second location only to phone it in? Expansion should mean excellence multiplied, not care divided. There are too many good places in Fredericksburg doing things right to settle for something half-hearted. This one wasn't terrible--it was worse. It was forgettable. And that's the real disappointment.

The staff were very friendly so no issues there. We went in on a Friday at 6:00 pm and were the only ones dining. Shortly after one other couple came in. Not sure if it's this dead because summer is over or because it was a hot day but we were surprised how empty it was for a Friday evening. The menu itself isn't bad. No appetizers on the menu but a decent selection of entrees so no issues there. I order the NY strip with grilled Brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. I'll start with the positive - the steak was ordered medium-rare and it was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, there was just very very little flavor or seasoning to the steak - it wasn't bad but I wouldn't order it again. The Brussel sprouts were huge - and I expected they would be 'hard' in the center (as often happens with larger Brussel sprouts) but I was pleasantly surprised that they were perfectly cooked and tender. Unfortunately they were also very under seasoned. One of them had an oil or seasoning on it and it was delicious but the rest had none and lacked flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were the highlight! Potato skins in them; nice rich and smooth texture and perfectly flavored. Best part of the meal! We also tried the steak tacos which had thin strips of steak in corn tortillas with corn, a sauce and cilantro and came with black beans and rice. The strips of steak were excellent - slightly charred (perfectly) on the outside and flavorful. The sauce had a wonderful flavor to it. The tortillas were very soft and moist. The tacos were very good. The black beans were black beans and the rice was rice - neither were bad and neither were great - no special flavor. Would we come back? If we were staying at the property again we might go back. The convenience is their main selling point. That said, Main Street in Fredericksburg with literally dozens of restaurants is only 3 minutes away. If The Club could 'up' their seasoning, they would certainly be worthy of 4 stars.
