Hidden Star is a hidden gem tucked into the gorgeous hills of Apple Hill. The kids can run wild in the play area while adults "supervise" with one of their twenty cider options (no need to narrow it down- they offer flights!). We went on the last day of November and on our way out discovered the apple slingshot! There's a spacious outdoor patio with jumbo Connect Four for a little friendly competition, and the food smelled so good we had regrets that we'd already eaten. The staff were friendly, attending, and genuinely excited to share their cider favorites. We'll absolutely be back with empty stomachs!

If you like hard cider, this is the stop for you. Line for it is long and moves slow so be prepared. However there is plenty of variety to find something you like, even non-alcohol ones. They have beer caddies if you want to buy six to bring home. I wish the line was shorter so you could try the options before buying. Didn't get to try the bakery since everything was sold out by the time we stopped here (~1pm). Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Not much else to do here though. Parking is tough too.

Neat spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Even indoors it was a bit cold, so some added heating would improve comfort. There was also a leak from the ceiling near our table, which wasn't a major issue but something to note. We ordered three cider flights (12 tastings) for six people; a great way to try a wide range of flavors. The ciders were interesting and unique, even if none stood out as a must-buy on their own (for me). Overall, a solid experience with good variety and a fun place to explore different cider options. Would definitely return with a group.

We always make an effort to come here on a weekday. Once, we came on a Friday, and it was busier than their usual weekdays, and that was enough to solidify that during the weekend, this place is packed! We love the toddler town and how risky it is. We are disappointed the giant swing is now down. The vendors are always interesting. The last time we came, there was a carnivorous plant man selling his plants. Such a wealth of knowledge and so welcoming of my kiddos and their questions! Parking is always accessible on weekdays. Their apple cider donuts are fresh and delicious, but severely overpriced. $7 for two old ones is ridiculous.

Charming spot with great vibes and even better service ---------------- This place is super cute! There's a barn-style setup where they offer hard cider tastings--my husband's the cider fan, and the guy there was really helpful in guiding his picks. I'm not into ciders, but I did try one or two of his choices. Inside the bake shop, we grabbed a lavender donut (so good!), and the woman who helped us was seriously the sweetest. She was also friendly and very welcoming with us. It was such a refreshing experience--she even gave us a sample of their featured non-alcoholic cider (wish I remembered the name, but it was delicious). They also serve lunch, which is nice if you're making an afternoon of it. There's plenty of seating and we came on a Friday afternoon, so no crowds--yay! We had a peaceful view of the land while we snacked. Only heads up: the restrooms are porta-potties, so just something to be aware of.

Amazing flight ciders! Great place to stop and have some drinks with friends during our Apple hill day! The service was friendly and upbeat!

This stop is a great one if you have kids! Great playground for kids and hard cider for the parents! We were a little disappointed because we showed up a little after 3:30 and the kitchen was already closed, even though they are open till 5. The hard cider was really good, but I would not recommend the flights. It is a much better value to get one or two full beers than getting the flight for $20. Out of the cider I tasted, the heat wave was my favorite. Great kick to it and delicious flavor. There is a really cool playground for the kids. It has an old airplane and fire truck!! Overall, pretty solid spot and I would go back!

This is truly a Hidden Star of Apple Hill. Ranch was recommended by one of my friends from work, and we made the stop here. While I didn't have the alcoholic cider, the non-alcoholic cherry apple cider was absolutely delicious. My friends loved the leaded stuff.

Cider choices were great just wasn't crazy about number 1 spicy one. Others were great tho. Customer service was great! A lot of people out enjoying the weather and location. Fun place!

We went here for the first time today and it was amazing! The lines were long but the customer service was unmatched. The employees seemed to enjoy their job and they were kind and patient taking orders. We ordered garlic fries, flights, apple donuts, and apple cider. Everything was delish. I also enjoyed walking around and looking at all the different vendors. The playground was a hit for the kids! They were so entertained- it was great enjoying the beautiful outdoors with my family at hidden star!

We have been to Apple Hill many times in the past and had never came upon this gem! We were planning a trip with our kids and I was looking on Reddit for the best orchards for kids. Hidden Star did not disappoint, and will become a staple in our future Apple Hill trips! It is so cute, giving all the farm vibes! They have so much for kids to do. We spent hours playing, even through the rain! My boys had a blast! We didn't try their hard ciders of their food... my husband wanted to go to Apple Ridge for their pulled pork (which he had forgotten is terrible) then stated that he wished we would have just stayed at Hidden Star and given their food a try. Next time!

We came through here on our Apple Hill adventure. It was a great place. There was a little play area for kids to use, a small store inside that also took food orders, great sized picnic area with tables and umbrellas, cider tap house offering 24 ciders including a NA option. Staff were very friendly and loved sharing information. The store had jams, honey, pickles, sauces, sandwiches, salads, donuts, etc. The cider taphouse had single pour options or flights of 4. They even had bottles of their cider that you could purchase. We grabbed a couple bottles of the Hawaii Five-O along with some pickles and mustard. Plenty of parking. They have plenty of porta potty restrooms options. We will definitely go back.

We couldn't resist grabbing some apple cider, pumpkin pie, and blueberry donuts. Each one tasted better than the last. The staff were so patient and informative. Great place to bring friends and family. They is play area for family.

We knew we would know it by sight, and we did! Wave Gods is a beautifully handcrafted jeweler. They're local, fair trade, high quality, fairly priced, and super friendly people. I found a lovely amethyst ring for just $30. And I can trust that it's going to last a very long time if I don't lose it. Wave Gods fixed Jenna's necklace in no time at all, did a cleanse on it to expel all the nasty aura ex bf essences, and she traded one of the beads he made her pick for one of her own choosing. Another excellent reason to stop by here is to munch on a fresh, hot, crunchy, sticky apple fritter. Good lord almighty I hadn't had one in several years but had been having a hankering. The fritter I ordered was everything. I would have wolfed the whole thing down right there but my tummy is what it is so I saved half for later. Delicious heavenly goodness. The duck pond is another fun feature where you can often watch dogs and their humans as well as ducks and geese of all kinds. I remember coming here with my grandparents when I was really little, and appreciate that it still looks the same as it ever did. Maybe not as immense as it seemed to kid me though. Cozy good times and food times at High Hill ranch. Most of what you come up to apple hill for you can find here, plus more craft tents than other orchards have. You may have to use a port o pot. It'll be fine. Vegan Corner: the Fudge Factory has vegan pies ! And gluten free for anyone looking.
