Here's the Pad Thai... Yum!!!

I was very pleased to find this hidden gem in Stayton. It's a terrific little place, tucked away in the shopping center near Dollar General between two large retail buildings. I always have their Pad Thai with shrimp , my favorite Thai dish, and their's is very tasty. And, just as important as the food, is Ina, who runs the place - she's incredibly nice, and always makes me feel welcome.

The name suits this hidden restaurant, it's not obviously visible. The restaurant has a great ambiance, cutely decorated and a peaceful vibe. The food was probably the best Thai food I've personally had, very fresh ingredients with complex spice flavors. The menu was much more extensive than I was expecting, with a range of really unique salad options, noodle dishes, rice dishes, curries, three different ramen and pho. We ordered the avocado spring rolls, the papaya salad and drunken noodle. All were excellent and we will definitely be back. Only downside, no beer/wine/cocktails, not a deal breaker but it'd be the only improvement I'd make.

Drunken noodles with beef. This is my leftovers after gorging myself cause it was so good. Large servings and great flavor!

Great customer service! The staff has always been quick and friendly. I have been here a few times, I like the pad Thai, and the red curry is really good. I just tried the drunken noodles for the first time and I would definitely order them again. Delicious combination on wide noodles and veggies. I added a little chili sauce to mine to add some heat!

Just a little hole in the wall place in Stayton. If you aren't looking, you may not know it's there. Cute place, food was very good and staff was friendly. Will definitely be back.

Food was okay. Thai should be bold. This wasn't. Tried it twice. No reason to do number 3. Seemed clean. Staff was gracious and nice.

The Pho was tasteless and bland. The beef slices in the Pho were supposed to be "rare", but were fully cooked and did not taste good.

Not sure what took us so long to try this place out, but it's really good! It's a pretty small…read moreplace, but the food is tasty. The pot stickers were hearty...almost enough to be a meal on their own. Definitely the best we've found in town. We ordered the Mongolian Beef (great taste, but could definitely be spicier) and the House Special Lo Mein (awesome flavor, but a smidge too much oil and salt). Will definitely visit again sometime. Update: The online ordering for this restaurant is terrible. After a full [exact] 60min after ordering, I called the restaurant for an update. The woman on the phone let us know it would be another 30min, although I heard the woman she asked in the background say it would be AT LEAST another 30-45 more minutes. The restaurant should be responsible enough to TELL their customers if the food is going to be a TWO HOUR wait and call to give the option to cancel. Update 2: Loved the place enough the first time to give it another shot. Called beforehand to make sure they weren't too busy for a carry-out. Ordered food, picked it up, and got home to find it wasn't what I ordered. Guess it's just bad luck with this place. :(

My egg flower soup was too salty, and mediocre. And the coconut shrimp I got was pre-frozen, and I…read moreliterally could have bought it at a grocery store, put it in my air fryer and get the same result.

I am really disappointed in this restaurant! I placed an order for food today close to $100 and…read morewhen I went inside to pick up my order, I asked for a simple side of peanut sauce and was told that my food that I ordered doesn't come with peanut sauce and that they would have to charge me, even more money! It is a simple condiment and I have no idea why they would tell me that unless I paid I could not get the peanut sauce when the Thai restaurant right down the road next to the dollar tree (Lanxang Lao Thai Cuisine) has never told me I could not have a side of peanut sauce nor do they charge you! The people of Salem are keeping your business alive and open by purchasing food through you, the least you can do is take care of the people and stop trying to pinch pennies and take, take, take from all of us, and treat us with respect and kindness, knowing that we choose to eat at your establishment and that we do not have to choose to eat there! It's literally just a simple side condiment and I am baffled that you wanted to charge me and I don't think that I'm going to be back and I think I will take my business elsewhere because there is plenty of Thai options in Salem!
