Me and my family stopped by to grab some thanksgiving eve food. I stop here whenever i am in town. They have some of the best rolls i have ever had. The waitress and host were very nice and made sure we were taken care of. I enjoyed my Arizona roll but the salmon roe flavor for me was a little off. My family enjoyed their meals a lot. Extremely busy and popular spot. Service was acceptable but they were definitely under staffed. Food was excellent. We ordered a chicken pad Thai and a tuna tornado roll. When we tried to order a sake they offered us this to try and it was honestly so good, a yuzu sparkling drink with alcohol. We drank with from the small sake glass but it was very smooth. So everything was going very well with this visit... We got here right at 5 when they reopened for dinner so we're the first to sit down we order Thai teas and got a chance to look at the menu. I ended up ordering sushi and my husband got the amazing (peanut) chicken with broccoli.. My sushi was great I ended up over ordering I was so full My husband chicken however was so watered down the peanut Sauce tasted good when it wasn't watered down the whole plate was filled in water that it was underwhelming we mentioned it to our server but didn't offer to make new or even bring out extra peanut sauce after we asked. I have eaten here many many times and wanted to bring my friend here before she left for NJ, because this Thai restaurants happened to be one of my favorites. I really don't know what the problem was but I felt like an orphan regarding my meal. Between the server, not the waitress, I was regarded with little respect. I ordered the cucumber salad and there were no tomatoes. Server told me and argued that I ordered it that way. I didn't. My friends who put their order in much earlier did though. I hadn't a clue how they ordered, since they ordered before I arrived and was served when I got seated. I ordered Massaman which was yellow looking. I told the same person if it was made with yellow curry, instead of red? She told me that is how it is made. Well, I've been eating that dish for about 15 years at many Thai restaurants in NYC, NJ, and all over Florida and it's the first I have ever had it with yellow curry. Server offer to return the dish. I give her kudos for that. Then we sat for about 10-15 minutes waiting for the server or waitress to ask us if we wanted anything else and give us boxes for our leftovers. They were busy talking and not paying attention to the tables. At this point of the evening it was 8 pm and not very busy. Last night's dinner was a disappointment. This restaurant came up in my community Facebook page and decided to give it a try because the sushi in the Parrish, Ellenton and Bradenton area is just do mundane. We got there about 30 minutes before closing their lunch time shift. Many restaurants make you feel rushed when you walk in almost to the point they are standing over you while your eating to push you to eat faster. Not here. We did not feel pressured to hurry up and order. They have delicious Thai tea. The server suggested the Bento lunch because we were getting two rolls each at about $7/each. I think it was $12.95 and came with soup, salad and a spring roll and 2 rolls. The sushi was very fresh . I am a stickler for cold , crisp veggies and the warmth of a tempura battered shrimp or fish. Hideko delivered both. I always seen alot of cars in this little Palmetto shopping strip, I now know it must be for them. We definitely will try them for dinner. read more

We have been here several times but I never taken the time to leave a review. Once you make it past the somewhat cluttered lobby/entrance area, it's full steam ahead. Service was careful to social distance but was attentive. We liked how they didn't use paper menus, they had QR code's on every table that you scanned for a sushi and/or food menus. Palmetto is known as the armpit of West Florida, so naturally, you wouldn't expect much. I've only ever ordered take out sushi from Hideko, not once was I disappointed with the service, quality or freshness of the ingredients. I was looking forward to eating here. So, many good reviews. I walked from downtown Bradenton over the bridge. I was told that they were closing soon (2:30pm) I could order to-go only. I ordered Steamed Dumplings & Tom Yum soup. (Simple order) The Dumplings were like an dried out pastry (open) & stuffed with sand & spicey ingredients. The Tom Yum broth (No lemongrass, galangal or kaffir) like dirty water that you put your spoons in to soak. The better suggestion would be to tell me, the kitchen is closed. This is a 3.5 star restaurant. This restaurant has Thai and Sushi in it menu. The restaurant location is actually at the downtown of Palmetto. We were the early bird for the lunch after the business meeting. The business pickup after 11:50. We are glad that our orders were in before it get busy. We have order the monster roll and the three sum roll. The monster roll is fried snapper top with spicy crunchy krab and with eel sauce. It decorated with smelt roe. The three sum roll is a combination of spicy scallop, tuna and krab with avocado and scallions top with spicy sauce. The two roll is above average. We also has the chicken curry and sunomono. Sunomono are cucumber salad with vinegar, shrimp and krab. The chicken curry and sunomono are below average. Service is good. Nothing stand out. read more
