Absolutely fabulous chicken fried rice available with brown rice. Very inviting decore and clean as can be.

We came here because of the vegan section of the menu, which we definitely appreciate. I ordered the vegan spicy lemongrass pho ($16.75) and vegan tofu lemongrass saute ($16). Both supposedly come with veggies, but the veggie portions were pathetic: a few slices of carrot, 2-3 pieces of snap peas in the soup; onions in the lemongrass tofu, plus a few pieces of raw cabbage, carrot and daikon on the side with the rice). The main portions were only moderate. The pho had a few pieces of each of the vegan beef and tofu, a moderate vermicelli portions, and admittedly a nice salty broth. Not the worst we've had, and I guess I shouldn't complain about vegan options in a town like this, but this was a pretty lacklustre meal given the portions and lack of veggies. I've been back twice since my first visit and am sad to say the soup hasn't improved, but luckily I found another place that is much better. Too bad though, because Demi's is really close to my house, so I wish it would have worked out, but the meat is so tough at Demi's that it is worth the extra 15 minutes to go somewhere else. read more

I have FINALLY stopped in to give this place a try. I've heard many good things about Demi's. Went for a late lunch. The decor was nice, the restaurant was clean as well as the restroom. If you love good pho this is an amazing place! The spicy lemongrass rare steak pho is my go to every-time! I also enjoy the coconut chicken sauté! I would not recommend this place to anyone. There were no cars in the parking lot and only employees in the restaurant so they were by no means too busy. I came in bc of the reviews and it looked like there were plenty of gluten free options. It was awkwardly quiet in there and took the waitress several minutes to come over add provide my group with a menu. There were five of us. I told the waitress I had celiac and she said they had NEVER served anyone with celiac and the owner was not comfortable serving me. She went over to the owner to discuss if they could serve me. The owner looked in my direction and did not come over to talk. They said they could serve every one else at my table. Bread was crispy. - The worker was attentive while we were there. - Bathrooms are single stall and the women's bathroom was clean. Cons: - Pho is on the pricer side for the portion. Soup was bland. Craving some pho soup this was the closet where I was shopping. Nice and clean was not busy so able to sit anywhere. They have 2 section one where the bar is at and when you enter the restaurant. I sat at the corner near the bar area. I try to order boba tea but they don't have it or ice coffee. Just regular drinks soda, wine, beer. I order egg rolls it' was ok. 2 small pc $8.00 kinda pricy. Food was amazingly good in portions that were not excessive. The server was personable and made herself available to check on my satisfaction regularly but not to the point of being annoying. The lady at the counter was so nice. The food came out decent time. I waited around their waiting area. I could see almost everything, was greatly lit & looked relaxing. A lil zen. 4 stars because they didn't accept amex & had no changing table for the bub in the restroom, but the restroom was clean! We got the food to go & ate at the preserve. No pictures coz we devoured it. Got pork spring rolls (yuuuum) & pork broken rice platter. The porks were *chef's kiss & we finished everything. Even the lil bub happily ate the food. We are new to the area, and want to give everyone a fair shot. We have seen the Demi's noodle house with a few cars in front of it and decided to at least try some takeout. Tonight we had the curry chicken with brown rice, and the chicken traditional stirfry with noodles, as well as an appetizer of Crispy Shrimp roll" which was fried single shrimp in rice paper roll ups (shrimp - nothing special or nothing else) The short summary is, oh, my God - Gross!!!! It looked institutional. It tasted worse. None of these plates were near eating 3 as good. And actually, we stopped eating, tossed it, which is very unusual for us. The chicken curry was watery, not savory but the chicken very very dry. The stirfry had no flavor at all, and it was a big wad of what they proposed for us to eat as noodles. A clump that came out in one piece almost like noodle jelly. The wrapped and fried shrimp seem to be either store-bought, frozen or something, that just was an edible. My advice to anyone looking at this, stay away. We're not going back. read more

I try to get to Demi's a few times a month. It's a slam dunk. Pho is great. Ramen is solid. Broken and fried rice dishes are spot on. Everything always has balance. I love Demi's noodle house but I'm afraid it's no longer the bang for your buck! Bowls are smaller which means the portions are smaller. I actually ate the whole bowl which I could never do in the past! Little overhead as the owners wife cooks and her mother is here to help as well! The hostess/waitress are always pleasant but the smaller portions and higher price will not serve them well!!! It's close so we will continue when we don't want to travel!!! Very disappointed. This place was highly recommended and we finally went for lunch (only because Hideko Sushi was closed for vacation) . Our server was great: friendly and attentive. Menu: looked great with lots of options, but pretty much all Asian restaurants have lunch menus ( although not so many Vietnamese ones). Demi's had a only a handful of lunch choices which didn't look appealing. We ordered spring rolls (4 pieces) were light and tasty with a delicious peanut sauce. The chicken stir fry was really good, with a terrific blend of seasoning, but very skimpy for an "entree" and honesty too small for a lunch portion as well. With a price tag of $11.95? No thank you. The shrimp pho was also disappointing; FIVE shrimp? And medium sized. Another small portion for $10.95. The majority of items are priced at over $10. I don't mind spending up to $20 per person for lunch, as long as I am getting a decent sized portion. One and done. read more

Demi's is a staple for my husband and me! We've had so many things and have loved them all: chicken fried rice, crispy egg rolls, chicken stir fry, ramen, pho, and spicy lemongrass soup. You can't go wrong with anything you order. My favorite is the spicy lemongrass soup! The egg rolls are crave-able! Be sure to check their hours before you go since they close after lunch and open back up for dinner. They ask that you give them a heads up if you have a big party. read more

When me and a friend visited it was actually pretty busy for lunch on a Summer Wednesday afternoon. There was one server managing the entire floor and she definitely held her own. As for the food, it was pretty bland. It was fun to mix it up and get some ramen but after that there's not much else going on. We came here because it was the closest Vietnamese food place to us and was looking for a new place to become a staple, since we did not want to drive to St.Pete just for pho or some days we don't want to make it at home. Their Pho broth is lacking in flavor and depth, serving size is very small for the price and appetizers are not worth it. Everything seems very Americanize and is not authentic. Fresh Viet and Japanese style soups. We arrived with a large group and each ordered something different. I got the lemongrass soup, which except for the base/broth, was basically Pho. My wife ordered the chicken Pho. The rest of my family got Ramen or something similar. The food arrived hot and fresh. The server was very polite and cordial.
