Although it shares a mall type venue, the food, and service were excellent! We started off (as we usually do) with Calamari, when trying a new restaurant, if that is on the menu, we try it. Folks, this appetizer was EXCEPTIONAL. The garnish prepared along with it was very unique and flavorful (wish it was a bit bigger) lol- The food was awesome. I'm not big into Sushi, but the wife calls the shots on where we go most times. The dish I got (recommended upon request from the server) was very "Aroi" and plentiful. We all know these days how hard it is to part with hard earned money these days for mediocre results with service and quality. The food, service, and atmosphere are exceptional. We had just come from a walk on trails so we decided to do takeout, but we observed how wonderfully the guests were treated. It felt like a great family atmosphere. The food was outstanding and we were treated so well. They also gave us some extra hot sauce just in case we wanted it but said to be careful with it. The food was so well prepared and seasoned that we never used it. I have already recommended them to others and we will be back. They get our very best rating. We had an amazing lunch at this small, family owned restaurant located in a strip mall. Lunch menu was a great deal with multiple options, all for $10. The woman who seated us was the owner, and her mom the chef! We ordered the holy basil with chicken, crazy noodles with chicken, pad Thai with pork and one with veggies. Starters were miso soup or salad. Both were delicious... the dressing on salad was fresh with a lovely ginger flavor. All of the meals were hot off the grill and spectacular flavor... especially loved the basil in the first 2 dishes. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to return! read more

Me and my partner in crime were looking for a Thai restaurant to celebrate my birthday when we found Aroy D. The food was absolutely delicious! Especially the chive dumplings, they were a surprise hit for us; I would've ordered twenty more if i wasn't already filled by their amazing Beef Szechuan Sauce Dinner. The servers also kept track of everything and anything we needed and there was hardly any wait to get refills or clear the table, the service was spectacular. This is a sushi review only. First of all the staff is super friendly!!!! We took our own bottle of wine as they do not have a license yet. Second, I will admit that we are a little picky with sushi but we also focus on individual sushi and sashimi and not rolls. The sushi here is very different from the previous establishment and we were a bit disappointed in the quality. However!!! We plan to try the Thai food as the menu looks fabulous! Favorite Asian Restaurant in West Bradenton!!!! Stopped by Aroy D last night again and had another great experience!! We have been to this place for take out and dine-in several times and they have not disappointed yet. Nice people, comfortable atmosphere and great food. Wife and I have a few favorites such as the peanut salad, Singapore noodles, potstickers and the quality is consistent. Sometimes I order yellow tail nigiri sashimi and it has always been fresh and delicious. I will return and do recommend for the Thai food or the sushi!!! read more

I am always on the lookout for a good Thai restaurant. Pad Thai is my test. I really enjoyed the food here and the decor was cute. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and my daughter had the Yellow Curry. After we started our meal with the fried pot stickers, we were happier than two peas in a pod. The service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. OMG This was not a positive experience......not sure where to start the only good thing was our waiter nice young man First of all they don't have many normal things like most Sushi restaurants normally have. ..no tempura of any kind..only deep fried rolls....the sashimi was really bad ..little pieces of whatever the shrimp was so tiny & tasteless the Mackeral the same tasteless ..you have to do something special to Mackeral to have it become tasteless.....the salmon was almost uneatable ......It was very expensive & we will never return....... My husband wouldn't tell me what the bill was .......we just left....chalking the whole night up to a bad choice. Well, why did I not look at my previous rating? I ordered the panang duck curry before and I was disappointed so why did I order it again now? Again, it was very disappointing. The duck was nothing but a bunch of slices of duck overcooked, the vegetables inside of the curry were nothing but peppers, no onion, no cabbage, no carrots, no sweet pea like they have at Isan Thai in Sarasota. WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We come almost every weekend (we started to come each weekend because they are open all-day Sat & Sun, now just because they have the best food in town!). Pad Thai is great but when I'm hungry I want the Singapore Noodles. I love them so much it took me a long time to try the Chicken Juicy Noodles and Shrimp & Crab Dumpling Juicy Noodle, Tod Mon etc. So good! There's still more to try. Hubby tries new dishes more than I do; he loves the 3 Flavor Sauce Dinner. Also, don't miss the Mango and Sticky Rice dessert. Really the food is so good I can't recommend more highly. Also, don't let the outside of the storefront fool you, it is lovely inside, nice decorating, flowers on the table, quiet music. Just a wonderful place to enjoy really good food. Try it! 5 stars from me, started with soup and potstickers both fresh and flavorful, sushi was amazing the pieces were huge and everything was fresh, spider roll was my favorite and then the pad tai 10/10 presentation was beautiful and the noodles were perfect. Our waiter was also very nice and attentive. He wore a chefs coat so I assume he knows the kitchen as well. Ordered on holiday through food delivery app. Well packaged for delivery, it was fresh, hot and nice portions. We ordered Pad Thai chicken, Crazy noodle and house special fried rice. Except for the spicy heat level everything was exactly as ordered. Good colors, big pieces of basil, fresh crisp vegetables good flavors and most stand out item really was the house special fried rice. Really looked like it was made with care. But is it mandatory for Thai food places to see how spicy they can get away with making their dishes and not get feedback...? Of the four (4) levels of spiciness, mild-med-hot-extra hot, we ordered medium heat. I can tolerate hot. At a local wing place here, I get TNT as my wing sauce. But, after a few bites, it was too hot to eat. We mixed the rice and some coconut cream & peanut sauce to enjoy the rest. My recommendation for enjoying ARoy's take on Thai is to manage your own heat. Will order again. read more

What a great place for dinner or lunch. The decor is pretty well done with nice piano background. I, as a professional who has played piano background in wonderful restaurants, was very happy with that relaxing music to dine by. They are working on getting their beer/wine license approved. But the atmosphere is so nice, and the food so good, they have other drinks you can enjoy with your food. Just have a your cocktail or whatever before you go.
