First time for Brunch at High Bank and was delighted at the variety!! Great quality ingredients, priced appropriately. We loved the peach burrata, so fresh and the arugula was tossed in a rich olive oil with grainy salt. We only wished we had more bread because it was so good! Large seating area, so even though it was noon on a Saturday we were able to be seated. Also got the High Bank House Salad without tomatoes and swapped out the blue cheese for pecorino. They were very accommodating of substitutions which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy. Salmon bowl was well seasoned and the flavors complimented eachother well. Double review for PO Box and High Bank. Started off the night at PO BOX 21 which is downstairs at High Banks. Disappointed on the speakeasy entrance since it wasn't as "secretive" Dark decor but had a great time. Our server was friendly. I got the creme de la creme and my friend got an old fashioned. We also split the pimento cheese dip. It had a kick to it. Went upstairs for dinner. He got the salmon bowl which looked amazing and I got the spicy chicken sandwich. The side of fries were amazing due to the sauce. Got myself another drink which was the popsicle stand which tasted like a 50/50 bar Had a pair of friendly servers with one in training. Wow, was it good; served with pita and veggies, including watermelon radish slices. I had 2 vodka drinks; first was the Blueberry Basil. Nice and refreshing. My second was even better. High Banks Distillery has such a fun and upbeat atmosphere one would never even know it was a bank at some point in time. The menu is bold and servers are so fun. We did a solid Brussel Sprout starter with some amazing deviled eggs complete with the creamiest of good egg mixture thats more blended forwards than the ordinary chunky and or loaded with paprika like usual - these are better by far. I loved these eggs are were some of my favorites I have tired. The salad was incredible and veggie-centric on a solid level combining all sorts of wonderful items and a must while touring this menu. I came in for a late lunch on a weekday. I was the only one there. I did get great service. The place was nice, but I'd like to see it with more people to get a better feel for what it feels like at a normal time to eat there. The grilled cheese and fries were good (vegetarian here), no drink on this visit. The sandwich was pricey for it's size. I was surprised at how bright it was in there, in terms of decor. I assumed they would have kept more of the old wood from the former post office. I thought it could've had more classic character, but they modernized it for the most part. The place was really busy for lunch on a weekday so I can only imagine how it would be on weeknights or weekends. The place was nice and clean and a little smaller than the other locations. They also have a small patio on the side of the building. As per food, we ordered Brussel sprouts, High Bank deluxe burger and spicy chicken. For the beverage, I ordered Orange you Glad. Everything was delicious. I really can't complain about any of the dishes we ordered. The service however, lacked a little. I've been to this High Bank location in Westerville a couple times now, and the best part? Consistency. It holds up just as well as their Grandview spot--which is saying something. Also, can we talk about the space for a second? It's in a beautifully renovated former post office, and they absolutely nailed the vibe. Tons of character, open and airy, but still cozy. I've only seen photos of the speakeasy tucked away in the back, but every time I'm here, I've got a kid with me--so checking it out is still on the bucket list. Soon! Let's talk food: the deviled eggs and crispy Brussels sprouts are legit fantastic. Perfectly done every time. And of course, I'm never passing up a smoked old fashioned. I'll admit it--I'm a sucker for their house liquors. The flavor profiles just get me. Service? On point. Attentive without being pushy, fast without feeling rushed, and genuinely friendly. Even while I was standing by the door waiting to head out, the hostess gave me a warm check-in with a huge smile. That kind of energy matters. If I had one critique, it's this: the main entrées just don't excite me as much as the starters and salads. They're fine--solid, but not the thing I'll be dreaming about later. The BLT Caesar salad, Brussels, and deviled eggs though? Those are the stars of the show. Hubby and I went here for our regular Friday night outing. We pick a different place every Friday typically. High banks in Westerville is smaller than the Grandview location. We snagged a seat at the bar. I had the Columbus Brewing IPA and the southwest salad and hubby had the same beer and the smash burger, which looked delicious. I snagged a few fries, yummy. Hubby had the old fashioned and I tried the same as a mock old fashioned (was not a fan, very weak and no flavor). We then went downstairs to the secret cocktail lounge, which was a lot of fun. Love the new location! It is in the building that used to be the post office We sat inside, but there is outside seating as well. We had reservations which I would recommend as it was busy on a Tuesday evening. It is also seems smaller inside than the other locations. Service was great and the food and drinks were good. Can't go wrong with the smoked old fashioned! The speakeasy isn't open yet but is supposed to be in late October. Parking can be a bit tricky as the parking lot is small. There is free public parking across the street. I would give yourself some extra time to find parking. read more

Really beautiful place! Open and bright, high ceilings and beautiful decor. We came for drinks and an appetizer but the menu looks really nice, lots of delicious options. My sister ordered wine and my mom got mocktail called 'orange you glad you didn't say gin' (or something like that) she loved it! I took a sip and it was very good. Citrusy with some mint and other well matched flavors. We also got an order of nachos and they were some of the best I've ever had. The chips were thick and delicious. Tasted like they might make them fresh there. The toppings were well spread out and the queso was so flavorful! I wanted to keep eating them but was too full. I'd go back just for the nachos. Service was good. Friendly and helpful. I did want to look at the beer list but they don't have an actual list, you have to scan the QR code to see beer and wine but the code wouldn't work for me. We loved this location! It is in an old post office in Uptown Westerville and they have done an excellent job of keeping that vibe. We started t the Speakeasy which you can enter from inside the restaurant but the fun secret entrance is at the back of the building down the stairs. The lobby looks like a post office counter so don't think you are in the wrong place. It is small and cozy with jazz music playing - expect to sit close to your neighbors. Lots of fun cocktail options. We enjoyed the Chex and Balances snack mix. The main dining room is bright and a little noisy. Servers are friendly and very helpful with menu selections. Both of our meals were amazing. The Chorizo meatloaf was melt in your mouth and spiced just right. The bravas potatoes and green beans were perfect sides. The Chopped cheese is definitely cheesy and delicious with fresh fries and great fry sauce for dipping. Both of these items are seasonal so may not be on the menu when you visit. Put on the list at 5pm. The wait was long but I was ok with waiting. They expected an hour and 45 min. It's been three hours and we have seen multiple others get seated before us. I understand there's people with reservations but why put me on a wait list for an expected time but completely miss that? Oh..also we made our reservation at the wrong location. But called ahead and they were kind enough to accommodate us. So kudos to the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. We ordered the apple whiskey fizz cocktail which I fully expected to be a warm cocktail, perfect for the cold night. But I was surprised to learn it's an iced cocktail. Almost like a whiskey punch. They really should say that on the menu. Maybe that's what "fizz" implied? I'm not a big drinker so maybe others would know that. We were light eaters. I had a slightly spicy meatball dish. It was a bit salty but very good. I ate half and had the rest for breakfast with eggs. My brother had soup. So I can't really comment on the food. The newest High Bank location might just be their coolest one yet since it is inside the old Post Office. The modern interior décor with the historical exterior makes for a unique ambiance. We checked out the place for lunch (make reservations as they get busy, and the location is smaller than their other locations). We had no problem finding street parking, but I would recommend you factor in time to find parking when visiting here. Our server was a bit inattentive and perhaps she had too many tables to juggle. We had to ask her questions and recommendations about the menu, and we eventually settled on the "Orange You Glad" drink, the Brussels Sprouts, the High Bank Deluxe Burger, and the Spicy Chicken sandwich. I don't say this often about vegetables, but the brussels sprouts was the star of the meal. The crispiness of the brussels sprouts and the sweet chili sauce was a great combination. Both the sandwich and burger were huge portions and tasty as well, and the sides of fries were also delicious. The drink was also refreshing and a nice complement to the spicy chicken sandwich. The new Highbanks is a probably their smallest location in downtown Westerville. It is located inside the old post office which adds a cool bit of history to it. The bar is a good sized with a good amount of seating. They have a small patio on the side of the building which will be great for people watching. To drink I tried the From Husk Til Dawn. It was very sweet and had a heavy corn flavor. It even came complete with popcorn! It was very tasty! read more

I have been waiting for this to open for so long! It's a super cool building and it was worth the wait! They had a great design and it was such a light and bright space. My husband and I went with our baby at/just before the lunch rush today and it wasn't terribly busy. Our waitress was the friendliest person I've probably ever encountered in foods service and although it took a little long to get our main dishes she was so friendly and attentive I didn't mind it. Now what you're waiting for... the FOOD. We started with the crispy Brussel sprouts and omg were the good!!!! They had a sweet chili sauce and sweet potato shoe strings that were to die for. I was trying to figure out if I could replicate the recipe because it was so so good! Let me say, this pic does not do the size of the salad justice. I rarely think a salad is worth $14 big this salad was so big and was just PILED with cheese and Tortilla Strips. The dressing was great and I'm sure that if you add protein it'd stuff your belly full through to your next meal.
