I grew up on Bridge Pizza and recently,had a disappointing meal there through the changes in the original owners and extended family, etc., etc. to the new owner they do have a sign in the door that says please be patient with us as we are onboarding new staff or something to that effect , and I get that , as I've worked in many restaurants Had a steak sandwich there on Friday, June 11 and it wasn't that great. On a weekday evening at 5:30, I ordered a large pizza and 10 wings. I was told that delivery would be 1-1 1/2 hours. That would be a 7:00 delivery, at the latest. At 7:15, I received a phone call and was told that my order had "just come up", (15 minutes after it was supposed to be here), but because of delivery issues, my order would be delivered when the delivery person got back. Okay, stuff happens. Twenty minutes later, still no delivery so I called to inquire. I was reminded by the employee that they had delivery issues, my order would be delivered "any minute", and there was nothing that he could do about it. Twenty "any minutes" later, my order came. This reminds me of my childhood. It's just a good classic pie with a tasty sauce and lots of cheese. My only complaint is I prefer canned mushrooms over fresh, but that's a personal preference. Update to my past review: changed from 1 star to 5. Highbridge Pizza is now under new ownership, so my husband and I decided to give it another go a few weeks ago. Since then we have eaten here at least 3 times. Our boys love the pizza, my oldest loved his meatball sub, the quality and service has improved leaps and bounds since new owners have taken over. Their subs are huge and the bread is delicious, we haven't had anything since returning that we haven't loved. Highly recommend. Just had our first and only order from High Bridge. I called and Mark that answered the phone was rude, rushed me and was very short with me. My husband went to pick up the order, when he got there he added on mozzarella sticks (he had no problem waiting), and he was given an attitude about it. Then before leaving he asked if he could buy a side of mild wing sauce, the guy again gave him an attitude and said "that will be $.64 but don't worry I'll get it this time." The pizza had practically no cheese on it. We ordered garlic parm wings and they just tasted like grease and butter. We will never spend our money here again. read more

2 trips ago I was so so on this place. Both trips back we got steak a sub and a roast beef sub. One bite into the roast beef I was in heaven. It was perfectly cooked. So tender and tasty. My daughter got the steak sub and she absolutely loved it. The subs are big. Both times we could only eat half. As always this is a place that we go to to get our family meal for the evening on Thursdays. This is considered our family night. Highbridge Pizza has now become almost an extension of the family because of how long we've been doing this. The staff is always so friendly and courteous when I call to order and they always seem to get the order right and as I posted in the pictures that we saw we got a pepperoni pizza and it was absolutely amazing. It was cooked perfectly there was no burnt spots there was no places that I could even say that it could have been done better. The flavor of the pizza also is Simply Amazing I can't describe to you what it is that brings us back there except for that flavor of that pizza and the feeling of being home when you walk into that building and they just smile at you and greet you warmly. Even when they're busy they seem to always care enough to stop what they're doing and say hi and by that I mean the owners that are there working along with everyone else. And I think maybe one time, if one time, I had to carry my box a pizza out to my car the rest of the time they've carried that box out to my car for me, that is incredible service to me. I recommend this place to anyone that would like to have good service, good quality and amazing food. Try it yourself I do not believe that you will regret that decision. This is my go to spot for pizza. They also have homemade meatballs that they use for meatball subs and OMG they are the best. What I like most about this place is that things are ready when they say they will be ready. Delivery may lag, but they are a busy place. Wings are amazing too! read more

We have ordered from Highbridge more than a few times in the past and always had a good experience. However we placed an 85.00 order on 11/23/22 and it was a complete waste of money. The chicken wings were so overdone (or sitting under a heat lamp for too long) that you needed a fork to scrape the dried meat off the bone. The steak subs were too small for the money charged with hardly any meat on them. The meatballs were mushy and tasteless, the salad was obviously made with an old head of iceberg lettuce that was 80% white lettuce. Disappointing to say the least-never again. read more

Great pizza. However, there was older man (customer?) who was hanging around and leaning against front the counter the entire time we were there and he had no mask on. In addition, there was a male employee visible in the right window from the parking lot who popped a piece of something in his mouth, apparently thinking nobody would see him. We grew up in Woodlawn, less than 1 mile away. High bridge pizza was very good backmin the 70's and 80's. They were second only to Woodlawn pizza, Dick the Baker! Fast forward to now. My wife and i bought my parents house in Woodlawn about 5 years ago. Had to get the childhood pizza I grew up on. Wrong decision. It was not good at all. Way to saucy,cheese wasn't even, and it just wasn't good. And no Woodlawn pizza because Dick moved away. So, tried it again many months later and only because all the pizza around here sucks. This time it was decent. Enough so to order again some time later. Disappointed again. But, had to try once more. Should have went to Pizza Hut. At least you know theirs will be the same all the time. Inconsistency is not how to keep people coming back. Either high bridge has new owners, or the kids took over and ruined the good pizza. New recipe? Different suppliers. Who knows. But I'm telling you to go Marino's. It's killer pizza and always consistent. I just tried them for the first time about 5 years ago.
