This was my go place for great a Italian sub. Last week I waited for over an hour and a half. There was a mix up in delivery so I let it slide. But I did call back a few times wondering where my order was. Tonight, I ordered a sub and it came right on time. I ate half and then got cramps and spent fifteen minute on the toilet. Andriano's has a dough problem. It sticks to the metal in the oven but not to ingredients. Instead it starts to bubble, and ingredients slide off. Probably a yeast issue. Tasty slices.. Do the dough right! read more

Staple pizza of Delmar. For 10 years it was a Thursday night staple. We moved on to another place. After an ownership change, we gave it another try. 1. Takeout centric 2. Clean and fresh 3. Solid pizzas, calzone and basic salads I love pizza. This place has a focus on stretching dough with copious cornmeal. It's always been the case. My preference is in another direction. Most people don't have an issue with that. They offer slices, solid pizzas, fresh and affordable. read more

Andriano's was our go to Pizza Place for YEARS. Once or twice a month I'd bring home pizza on my way to work. Not any more. The last two times I've ordered it's been absolutely horrible - overcooked cheese and the also the crust. Last time I needed to wait 20 minutes past the time I was told my pizzas and salad would be ready. I'm reading another review which says there's a new owner. We order from here pretty regularly even though we don't love it so much. The good and the bad averages out to ok most of the time, it's convenient to where we live, and we haven't found anywhere that we like better after trying a bunch of new places. But this time I think is my absolute line in the sand. We ordered a plain sicialian pie. Easy. Simple. Nothing complicated. IT WAS AWFUL. Flatter than a pancake, incredibly dense, and very burnt. It looks like they used regular pizza dough to make a square pizza and then they even messed that up because it wasn't even like a regular pie should be. I thought that this small pizza place might be promising. But, this place was all about the yeasty doughy chewy crust. And the crust was tasty, but it totally overwhelmed the rest of the slice. This crust would make phenomenal bread sticks. Or cheesy garlic sticks. Just not very good pizza. The sauce was flavorful. But was swallowed up by the crust. Perhaps a slightly heavier hand with the sauce could have helped. But it is a fine line, lest it be too saucy and the cheese slips around. The cheese was a bit too bland. More cheese would not have helped. Better cheese is the answer. All mozzarella is not created the same. It's cheap though. $1.35 per slice. So, should you find yourself at 4 corners and a little peckish, you could do worse. Or judge for yourself... because the crust is really tasty. read more

The best thing about Andriano's is that it's inexpensive. And, it's not bad, but not great. You get what you pay for. The red sauce is devoid of flavor: zero seasonings or if they are included the cook waives the spice jar over the tomato sauce with the cap still screwed on. People do expect their pizza to have a hint of basil and oregano. Toppings give the pizza flavor, and they are generous. The crust is thick for a standard pizza so not exactly NY style. Expect when you order, even if you live in Delmar, it will take at least an hour to arrive. They'd be smart to send those taking the order to go to charm school. It's off putting when you call up and the guy sounds pissed off that you are calling and super irritated to have to take your order. This is called a SERVICE industry. read more

Having gone to Bethlehem Highschool, I've had my share of pizza from this establishment over the past two decades. An extra large typically runs under $20 with delivery tip or a topping or two. Feeds four people, so under $5 per person. I'm not sure if it's nostalgia or flavor, but to me this is what I compare all of my pizzas to. I've had better pizzas, and I've had worse pizzas, but this pizza is solid, consistent, and definitely above average. From the over 200 pies that I've eaten from here, I can say that service has been great, for both pick-up and delivery, and the pizza is a solid four stars. Definitely a delivery type of spot. My experience here was relatively seemless, much welcome after a long day at work. I called my order in and picked it up just business as usual- no frills or thrills here... seriously. Just a mom and pop (maybe minus the mom?) pizza shop. It took about 15 min for my pizza to be ready. The pizza was decent and the service was average- not incredibly friendly but not rude by any means, just matter of fact. It's not a very aesthetically pleasing locale (hence the delivery rec) which may make you question your order, but in the end we survived and enjoyed our pizza as well. I ordered a chicken parmesan pizza and we were pleasantly surprised. The chunks of chicken were generous and it boasted a creamy tomato sauce which worked. I'm huge on pizza crusts (it quite possibly is my favorite part of a pizza) and this one was just eh... maybe even a little chewy? Nonetheless it wasn't catastrophic. I won't necessarily be running back but I know this is a place I can get decent pizza relatively efficiently in a pinch. So, three stars. It's really not a bad thing. Don't misinterpret the rating, I would eat here again. If I got this pizza at a bowling alley, I would say "hey, this is really great bowling alley pizza!" As I sit here eating my third slice of it now, I'm thinking "yeah, alright this is good pizza... Kind of tastes like what you get at a kids birthday party, right? But not In a bad way." I've eaten 3 pieces of this pie, so it's obviously good. It's just not great. The pizza (I usually get 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni) is average and consistent and it gets the job done when I have a pizza craving. First time coming to Adriano's. Just walked in and ordered a pepperoni pizza. We were told it would take about 20-25 minutes. So we walked around and came back. At that time it sounded like there was a mistake with our order where it was never put in or was mixed up with someone else's. So we had to wait another 10-15 minutes. They only had space for one table so it's all walk in or delivery. The pizza was okay. Nothing special. Cheese and pepperoni had little to no flavor. The crust was kind of like pizza huts as far as how it was cooked and using corn flour. There was also little to no sauce. If they added more sauce I think it would have tasted much better. My grandmother and I went in last night for a few slices of pizza. It was my first time. Have never heard of this place. BOY WAS I MISSING OUT!! This is probably the best pizza I have had in NY. The dough was on another level of crazy good. This sauce was great!! (im VERY picky with sauce) I could go on and on how great it was ( and it was). We ended up ordering a full pizza to go, and it took no time at all. The place is small, BUT CLEAN. I have worked in a few pizza places small like this one and they were not close to as clean as this place. It didn't smell like a greasy pizza shop, which is nice. The staff there were extremely friendly. They were very busy, and they took the time to talk with my grandmother (she kept asking old lady questions) They are great there. I live 17 minutes from this place, and I will have to problem driving out of my way to have a great dinner. I cant wait to try more on the menu!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

I am shocked that Andriano's hasn't gotten better reviews -- I grew up around the corner, and this is pretty much THE pizza place to go to in Bethlehem. You've got to give it a try at least once.
