They took another payment for November! No cards to enter the building, signed a form on September 10th, 2024, yet they keep taking payments. Requested a invoice to show that we couldn't cancel, never given! Person at facility stated that we had received money off, Yet, no money off and wife had paid for one on one packages that hadn't expired! Talk about a joke! They owe us money, yet they keep taking funds out of my account? I called my bank, gave them dates, discussions and information of this slow, corrupt institution! For Physical Training, people need to go to "Planet Fitness"! Farther drive for people in small towns, yet being a Combat Veteran, they don't screw you at every turn! I cancelled with my bank, I will pro sue legal if necessary. I have dates, times and discussions with Snap Fitness and will be given a deposition to the Yavapai Courthouse when one employee doesn't give the same response as another. Stop payment in place, if needed, I will also get a refund from the One-On-One prior paid for wife and instructor fee(s). I'm tired of being screwed by small companies!!! We haven't been to this establishment in six months due to drive and VA appointments, yet they always take more than their fair share! Please go to "Planet Fitness", small companies only screw you in the long run!

I am a retired "snowbird". I was in the Prescott area and went to Anytime Fitness Prescott. One…read moreday I tried to get in but my FOB could not open the door. Thinking there was a problem with payment, I checked my records - payments were made. I then was calling corporate but could not get answers as to why my FOB was not working and got passed on to someone else. This went on for days. I finally got to someone who would help. That AF rep confirmed that I was paid up. Also I was not just blocked at the Prescot location but the entire chain which I understand is about 5500 locations. I asked why. The rep told me that there were not reports/comments in my file. I have been a member for many years. If I had done something so bad that it would block me from the entire chain there should have been something documented in my file. Or, at least someone from AF talk to me about what I supposedly did. No one from AF reached out to be re an incident and maybe give me a warning. None of this happened. The helpful AF rep told me that after several attempts to reach Prescott directly that he finally talked to someone. The rep was told that I had been blocked because I had been using their parking lot as a toilet. This very odd since I live a work out of a motor home with a fully functional bathroom on board. Also, while my FOB was working, a short walk across the a few parking spaces would have given me access the the several toilets inside the Prescot location. First, I think I may have been confused with someone else. Second, this happened a few weeks ago, AF is still taking payments out of my account though I am supposedly not a member anymore. I will have to see what I can do to get this stopped via my bank since AF is so difficult to deal with and unresponsive. I have managed businesses for many decades. I have rarely seen customer service so bad. However, this is a trend that my peers and I ( 60-70 years) that the young ones in our various industries (30-40 yrs and younger) are sloppy and lazy on this subject.

Yes, that is partly on me for not doing more research before I drove up from Phoenix, but some comments I read online said there is a good loop hike around the lake, and that is definitely not true. Just do an out-and-back hike along the east side of the lake and you will be OK.

Fossil Creek is absolutely stunning, and bonus -- no permit needed after October 1st. The other thing says this trail is easy. No, it's not to be careful if you're taking somebody elderly over that doesn't have good mobility because there's some rocks you had a climb and what not also make sure you take plenty of water to drink and a little snack everything you pack in your pack. I would also suggest leaving the house by three 330. No later you don't wanna be hiking in the pitch dark.

I wish I knew more before going. I need to know more information about how things work at Fossil Creek. Even after going, though we enjoyed ourselves, I still don't know how it works. There were no signs telling you where you can access trails to get to the creek. You just had to guess. I found a trail at our Homestead parking lot, but it was very steep and a little dangerous. We found a spot okay in the shade but was very small for our party of 6. We worked so hard getting down there that we just made it work. After leaving we went up the road a little way in our vehicle to see what the other spots looked like, but I saw no bridge or easy access from The Bridge parking lot either, and the road was just way too bumpy. I hope my wife's suspension is okay on her Mazda CX-5. The information before going should've told us about the road and what to expect, basically how to plan. It's all a guessing game. I could've asked the Ranger lady more questions, but I didn't know what to ask. My boss made things sound different. Apparently you can't drive people to the waterfall trailhead anymore. You have to walk over 2 miles on a dusty dirt road in over 100 degrees with vehicles driving by kicking up dust. That makes no sense whatsoever. We enjoyed our time at the water. Everything else leading up to it and after it we could've done without. I don't see us coming back unless we have someone with better suspension and/or better knowledge of the area. Thank you.

Trail is marked with carin, since trail is less traveled, look for carin to stay on the trail. First water hole is deep enough for cliff jump. If you arrive early in the morning, water and lights are perfect to take reflecting images. Water stays cold even in the summer. No restrooms or drinking water available, bring plenty of water and food when visiting this trail

So, we made our way back up to the upper lake, where bait is permitted. The upper lake was fairly crowded and a bit noisy (sound really carries there), but it's a beautiful spot overall--small, peaceful, and scenic. We stayed for about two hours, didn't catch anything, but did spot a few fish swimming around. Still a pleasant visit!

This lake was formed in the 1960s when they dammed Lynx Creek. It is stocked for fishing and has a campground and hiking trails around it. There are lots of animals that are native to this area like mule deer, osprey and bald eagles. I booked a campsite here during the summer because I own a kayak and wanted to get out on the water. After setting up my site, I headed over to Lynx Lake. I was a little disappointed to see the water so low. I guess in late 2024, the lake was partially drained to fix a mechanical failure in the dam's outlet valve. It has to rely entirely on natural rain and snow to be refilled and could take years to get back to normal. So we just did a hike around the lake and headed back to our campsite. Lynx Campground has around 35 campsites with a picnic table, fire ring and a grill at each site. There are no RV hook-ups, but they do have drinking water and toilets. The campsite is about half a mile directly south of Lynx Lake. We enjoyed our campsite and had a fun time. We had to partially share our site with another family because their giant tent spilled onto our site (which was annoying). But we made the most of it. The nice thing is that the Town of Prescott isn't too far away if you need any food or supplies. As for kayaking, we were able to do that over at Watson Lake. You can book a campsite ahead of time on Recreation.gov.

I've been to Lynx Lake a few times, and this recent visit was pretty similar to my past…read moreexperiences. I'm giving it a 3-star review mainly because the lake has recently been drained and they want it to refill naturally, so it's unclear when water levels will return to normal. There is also a $5 day-use fee to enter the park. You can pay cash or card. Currently, the park opens at 7:00 AM and the gates close at 5:00 PM. The trail around the lake is about 2.5 miles and offers a few different routes, including at least one path that leads to a small waterfall (or what would be a waterfall if the lake wasn't drained). The west side of the lake is more paved and level, making it easier for walking, while the east side is more rugged with a dirt trail. One thing to add, the bathrooms were clean, but they had smell in them was hard to ignore and really unpleasant. Overall, it's still a nice area for a casual walk around the lake, especially if you're in the area.

He was even the guy who trained special forces operatives! Previously in NJ, his boxers became the NJ golden gloves and diamond gloves champions. As tough as he is, he's a super nice guy who takes a personal interest in everyone who comes to the gym. If you are strictly looking for fitness boxing, he can show you workouts that will leave you struggling to move the next day. If you are looking for defensive skills, he can teach you everything from the very basics, to the skills necessary to be an Olympic or UFC fighter, which he's coached. Jarek is an extremely classy guy who has the ability to bring out the best in you. Everything starts with safety here, and the classes are even good for children (no contact allowed) He offers private training for those who prefer them.
