have bought two different motorcycles new from the specific locations. Both times I have had issues first time I swap me out for a new bike now this new bike has issues. It would just not turn on a few a week or so of use. They placed the blame on user error for weeks. Based on the lemon law I've asked for my money back many times and have been turned away. I've been in contact with the general manager who no longer reaches out along with corporate. They not only give me the runaround but they give the attorney general the runaround. I had an excellent experience at High Octane. I was interested in purchasing a Low Rider S. I met with the salesman Buzz who was very knowledgeable of the all the different bikes along with their features and differences. He was able to go on a test ride with me which aloud me to slim down my options. I ended up going for the new Low Rider ST which is a similar bike with an additional few more features. I will update this once we get the purchase, if that ever happens. These people are great at calling you as long as you DO NOT make a purchase. Once you buy from them DO NOT expect a call back and DO NOT expect anyone to give you information or keep their word, that is if you can get at least two people to align on what little information they actually give you. Papers for a $20,000.00+ purchase were signed May 30th, 2019 with the promise of 2-5 days until the bike could be picked up, it is now June 10th, 2019 and not only do we not have the purchase but we have not been given an anticipated date for pick up. And before they reply on customization of a bike taking time lets clarify that the "customization" is installing a slip on, heat shield, and tuner. My son has made this same change in 30 minutes. Not only do they not call the customer for update but they completely dodge, avoid, and outright ignore any calls or questions. We are contacting a lawyer to see what we can do to get out of this mess since we have not taken possession of the bike and furthermore never even sat on it. First bike purchased in 2018 Anniversary ultra limited and nothing but a circus show. Worst experience ever! I was looking for 2023 Anniversary ultra limited and High Octane had it. I called and voiced my past experience and was reassured they cleaned house and all is good. Got there and sales guy "Buzz" was more interested in his commission that he did not LISTEN to what I requested. End result, we got dinged twice unnecessarily on our credit, sat there foolishly for 5 hours! End result we were financed but could of saved time, points on credit report had salesman listened. Then finance department added in additional parts which we ended up NOT needing. They submitted two credit applications to Veridian unnecessarily. Veridian did not understand why they opened two loan applications verses making changes to the initial application. So I question their knowledge and the fact they do not care how it might affect the customers credit. Since then, they avoid my calls, emails, and play the blame game. I had work done on bike and financed it in the loan. At pick up service tries to get $800+ from me. I told service it was included in finance. So I went to finance to learn they messed up and never adjusted changes, charged me MA tax as a NH resident, and was told they owe me money back. Okay, thinking a check will be sent. NO, after several calls and being pushed aside, I learned the money was sent to lender. Hence my payment will not decrease as they did not correct changes with lender initially. They gave me a $500 gift card and I used most of it at their sister company "Manchester HD"because I am done with High Octane's games. My husband stopped in to spend the last $42 on gift card and was told the card had no money on it? High Octane called their sister company to confirm the amount used and then told my husband they cannot help him. He needs to work that out! Lacking customer service 100%. So now our problem? After spending $50k, I feel my experience was again terrible and wish they would change there ways. So please buy from any other HD dealership if you want to be treated as a VIP customer! Lol bought that too and where did that get me? Very disappointed and Manager promised to have GM contact me but never got a response! It's truly only about the sales, not about the customer! My husband and I have been to almost all Harley in MA and High-Octane is so far one of the best shops ever. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a smily receptionist. The assistant manager, then introduced us to a sales rep, Jon who has a vast knowledge on Harley. My husband wanted to trade in his brand new bike for a bigger bike so that he can ride with me. Our first ride on his bike was rather brutal because my bum was really hurting the whole time. Well, since his single life has been over since 3/3/16, we needed to make some changes on our gears. After spending all day (over7 hours), we finally decided on something that would please my skinny bottom. We traded in our bike, V1200 Seventy Two, 2014 for Softtail, 2005. It sounds like a downgrade but my husband and I were happy to trade in since we now can ride together until I am ready to ride my own bike one day. Jon was really helpful answering all our questions. He was very attentive, courteous, and informative. We highly recommend Jon for your sales rep. Ended up getting 3 shirts and a bandana. Checked out the cool bikes and accessories. Place was clean. Nice bathrooms. Showrooms was set up well. Everyone was sooooo nice. If your ever here. Stop by. As others have said, they scream the epitome of the sleazy sales rep. No prices listed online, none when you call, at least nothing concrete.If you go in person, you are almost chased by one of the many sales reps hanging around.You may 1st be greeted by a "fitment specialist" who gets your basic info which I assume is to bug you after you leave the store. Then you indicate what you are interested in and they play the game of what they have and all bikes are giving an extensive service check (I think most dealers do this) They then throw various rates and loose numbers with nothing specific. If that doesn't work, you then get the 2nd line, asst mgr who tries to sweeten the pot w/ the same vague info, if you show some disappointment, you then get the sales mgr whom will offer you more savings, plus the "price matching" spiel, they may even try to tell you you may be eligible for a credit card w/ them which offers a great apr. In closing, avoid this place like the plague and be advised on used bikes, they add about 1300 to every price as a "reconditioning fee" Most dealers do this for free or at best under 400, they then add a "doc" fee of only 700 give or take and don't be surprised if they try to make it sound like they are doing you a favor at that price, so 2000 added to every price of a used bike and they must own stock in Dunlop as they really highlight the "tires for life" which you only have to pay for installation. There may also be a premise to have all service done there for this to be applicable. Don't even consider trading your bike in with them as its probably lower than 50% of wholesale value or equivalent with the rumbleon website. A reputable dealer will probably give you more than double this amount and that's still at wholesale cost. Im not sure if the Verakas's will see these horrendous reviews and do anything or if all their multiple state dealers operate this way. People should see consistency in the 2000 added to every bike, I also see where someone also indicated a 3000 fee for all non HD brands. Don't be surprised if after your 1st contact, you then a call from a Mgr to see if all your Qs were answered, then don't be surprised is you get a call from a 3rd party business development person to inquire. Consumer protection, the AG office or the BBB must be familiar with this business. There is consistency in every review! Lastly, Id ask every potential MC consumer, have you been treated this way at any other MC dealership and if the answer is NO, you know what to do next! read more

my whole family rides. my friends ride. everyone in my life rides. I decided "i want a bike." I came to yelp for advice. this was not Yelps favorite Harley shop. I looked around and discovered most dealerships are not favored by this site. I did try a few other places out and I just couldn't a) get anyone to work with my budget b) anyone that did not act like I was lucky to be in their showroom, I mean the egos on some these guys is crazy. I understand that to be a salesman you have to have confidence, but when your "Fit Specialist" tells me I shouldn't be looking for a price and I should be happy to be looking at bikes that is just not being customer oriented, I will refrain from naming the other dealers in case it was a one off event I experienced. Now, Bring it in High Octane. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted and still had my budget. My guard was up, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I walked up to a group of guys I thought were just customers there for an event they were having and got to talking. The guys and gals in that group had nothing but great things to say and when I asked who they thought I should ask for they pointed to a kid in their group and said "well he's a salesguy here" and I was shocked that the environment was so welcoming that sales people would be friends with their customers like that. I was given a grand tour of the building by Bobby where he told me about the dealership and I had to ask how he knew how he knew the people we were talking. turns out they all bought bikes from him and come by once a month just to hang out with him and I learned why. not once did I feel as though I were at a dealership. I felt like i was with a buddy looking at bikes for a bike show or something. they had music, free food and cheap beer. Bobby introduced to his coworker Wavey Davey who I took my test ride with and Wavey Davey gave me an awesome tour of the area and I got a great feel for my new street bob and I love it. I have the vip passport which included FREE winter storage. They came to my house in the fall with the Trai picked up my bike and took my coupon no issues...... along comes the spring and I go to pick up my bike and I'm told it's $400 for the winter storage.... When I went in to sign the papers and pay I was told that they would not honor the price that I was quoted (see text). They even verified that I was quoted the price but would not honor it. They only had black plastic on the shelf and we were trying to match the ball on the GPS to the HD phone mount. Asked for help and the clerk made it sound like the chrome did not exist. We said it was in the HD parts book - his reply was what you see is what I have!. No over to help any further. Then under his breath "Oh and I don't know the ball size"! Terrible experience. Was sold a bike and told after down payment was given that they don't have the title and won't get it for atleast 3 weeks. Signed papers a month later and parts of the bike were missing. Then when we picked up the bike the employees strapped it on the trailer and bike fell en route home and was damaged. They now have the bike and will not answer our phone calls after telling us we need to pay for parts. They have our money but we have no bike and no answers and no assistance. Joe C. I went to High Octane Harley after calling about a bike I saw on their website. I was told they don't have it in stock but come look. So I did and when I walk in to the showroom there is the bike in the color I called about and 2 just like it. Liars!! So I talk to David and Ashley/ assistant sales manager who basically wants me to agree to a monthly payment and sign my life away. When she comes back with an offer it's over 6k over MSRP and when asked why she tells me it's Fair Market Value!! I say no way and she comes back with another offer. Not much better but lower payments. At this point I agree reluctantly and she comes out with a printed offer and says"ok here is the payment you want right? So sign. She never explained anything about the breakdown of the cost she just wants my deposit and signature. So being excited I agreed. Still NO talk of interest rate or Length of loan. The next day I returned with my deposit and ask to see Gina. At this point I've already been called by Ashley and David that day asking when I'm coming with my money. I then was called into Ginas office where she says "Ok Show Me The Benjamin's". I gave her the money and she took it and throws it in my folder and tells me she's got to run and will put a receipt in my folder for when I come to get my bike. WTF is that!! When I asked multiple times I was told it would be explained by Gina/Business Manager. So they give me a Tour of the Dealership while paperwork is prepared. After I meet Gina who congratulated me she says she has some stuff for me to sign. She starts with Photo releases and the Hog membership. Then other forms before last she slides over the Purchase and Sales agreement covered by another form so I didn't see what I was signing exactly. Then put them in a folder and told me they it's closing time and she still has three more people to go through paperwork with and pushed me out. Still no one has showed me a interest rate or terms of the loan. But they are begging for my Deposit!!!! So the next day I call concerned that I have no idea what my terms of the loan are and ask to talk to Gina who I left messages for and didn't call me back. I then called the sales manager and complained about what was going on!! He had Gina call me finally and she acts like she didn't know I was calling. I then question her about the Interest rate and loan terms and she tells me is 16.9% for 5years and I was pissed!! I wanted to see what I had signed. She told me I signed electronically and it was on the screen I signed and she explained it to me. At which I told her it was part of the bundle she had me signed and never told me anything of the sort. I was in her office for about 10 cmins and signed everything as a bundle which she only told me what I was signing but not the Purchase and sales or Financing. She hid what those forms were. The electronic signatures are signed on a small screen a lot big enough for a signature line not a full screen you read before signing. Gina Hid All the important information related to the financial terms of the loan and rushed me out. When I called for the terms she told me I signed the paperwork and she hold told me. I had her fax me the purchase and sales and the original sales agreement which she said she would do right away but took her almost 6 hours and another phone call to the sales manager. When I received the fax I had never seen any it before. I threatened to void the sale and she said I signed and Reminded them that UNTIL YOU PICK UP THE MACHINE its not yours so I will be back for my deposit. This is the worst experience purchasing a machine ever!! They try everything to keep your attention from the terms of the sale and when you ask they tell you soon and then it's closing time!!! My father in law bought a bike the week before from another dealership. A 2021 Road King and paid MSRP. Only!!!! High Octane charges $465 freight $895 for setup $599 for administrative fees and they charged me $895 for premium sound on my NEW 2021 Street Glide that comes with the stereo stock!!! They act like it was a add on. Isn't that included in the MSRP!!! It is at other Dealers I know because I've asked. I was Ripped Off and taken advantage of by a Predatory Dealership with a system in place to take peoples money through dishonest and shady business practices. Even when I went to get the bike because I wanted it anyway the hadn't prepped it!! It was supposed to have been full of gas and washed and it was empty outback with all the other bikes and my sales guy David put gas in it and in a rush splashed gas all over the tank. They called me pressuring me to pick up the bike since the day I dropped my deposit but wasnt even ready 4 days later when it was time to pick up. Because they knew what they are doing is very questionable and wanted my Money no the Bike off the property so I can't renig on the sale. RUN!!! From this place!! We had our bike inspected today and it past with flying colors. No problem with the bike and they gave us a sticker. Well one of their service people was bringing the bike down off the ramp and he dumped it. Damaged the tour pack in 2 places. Their explanation for this was the brakes are faulty yet they gave it a sticker. They have the audacity to say that it was not their fault it was the brakes on the bike. On top of that their service manager said if the individual was hurt they want to claim it on my insurance. We will be taking on necessary steps to hold them accountable for the damage to the bike. Also I'm taking steps to find out how you can pass a bike ( which part of the inspection is testing rear and front brakes) and five minutes later say the brakes are faulty. If the brakes were faulty how could it pass inspection. Also we have in writing that the bike passed the inspection with no problem with the brakes. The bike is a 2001 Road King full dress. The bike is very heavy and obviously the individual how was on the bike could not handle it. The service manager has the has no customer service skills. I bought my 2014 softail Heritage brand new also bought the VIP package which wasn't cheap then called to get my free oil change if you want to call it free were I paid for the VIP and they said sorry were two months out with bike week coming up I said yes i'm going to that's why I need my oil changed needless to say I had to go pay over a $100 bucks to have someone else change it and no I never got to use my vip to have it changed because now that claim its expired never got my free detailing that was in my book so what did I pay for??????? But when it came down to it they would not honor that because they said it was an additional offer. Their advertisement, emails and promotional flyers did not state they would not combine. I wasted 3 hours after doing 90% of the leg work for financing and trade and still walked away with no bike. After succumbing to the pressure that they would not hold a bike, "first come first serve basis" I decided to make the trip ( 80 minutes). It was a nice bike for the right price. Very unprofessional and a bit dishonest with numbers, parts and prices. They do not mark prices on anything, they adjust on the fly and try to convince you that its a deal. Brought my bike in few months to do a full "go over" and was advised a 25k service. Wanted to make sure everything is on par and safe with the machine so agreed to the almost $1000 dollar service. Few days later got a call that my service is done but front end needs work. They said it's not an emergency but will need to be addressed soon and I figured since the bike is there already and they said it'll be few days to get the parts and a day or so of work I decided to give them the go ahead. What followed was 3 weeks of barely reachable service department and a multitude of unreturned calls. Apparently parts took 2 weeks to receive and despite that massive delay the work order did not get pushed to the front burner and took an additional week of wait. MA riding season is short and thats 20 days I didn't need to skip as front end could have waited til they actually had the parts and time to work on it. After a few days of getting my bike back I noticed it's leaking oil that it wasn't before. Brought it back and after two more days they couldn't locate the problem. Said it may have been residual from the oil change and since they now wiped it down it will not be an issue anymore. Brought the bike home- still leaking actively. Called the service department and they said to bring it back so that can use tracer fluid and I asked them why they didn't do that in the first place. They didn't have a good answer. At that point I decided that High Octane is not to be trusted with my bike or my safety and asked to have my service fee refunded so I may have it checked out elsewhere and I was promised a call back asap. It's been a week and a few more unreturned voicemails . read more

I have not experienced such slimey sales tactics in many years. Anyone that believes that you have to pay MSRP or even more for a new Harley is very gullible. It is also encouraging to see that a representative from the dealer responded to my review hoping to do better. I will take him up on the offer the next time I am shopping for a bike. I will go in and see if things have changed, and find out if they are now offering fair trade in values, and see if they are selling new bikes for fair competitive prices that don't require 2 hours of high pressure old school used car lot type negotiations. I called this place for repair on my Harley. I talked to this hurried girl in the service dept. she kept calling me "honey" so I kept calling her "honey" she finally said "oh you don't want me calling you that" I said it's very "condescending" so she hung up on me. My son just bought a $35,000 street glide there and I wish I sent him somewhere else. I'm thinking of buying a new bike, but it won't be from them!!!!! read more

Scores 4 stars with me for ease of ordering parts. .. but only 2 stars cause when your told it will take a couple days to get your part in BEFORE you pay for it then AFTER you pay for it and a couple (3) days later and have really NO other choice but to wait, your told.....
