I did a huge amount of homework and had 3 different and well recommended flooring companies come out to assess the situation and give me their quotes. All 3 were knowledgable and could have done a solid job on this work, but Ted stood out among them as particularly capable and experienced (not just an age thing, but the way he talked about the work). Of the 3 companies who came, 1 of them didn't even mention leveling or prep work, 1 of them mentioned it but said he didn't know what the house would need, and only Ted was specific about it off the bat and pointed to one area that he could eyeball as needing additional prep. I could barely see what he was talking about when I looked closely but it was just obvious to him. He was also the only one who thought to talk to me in advance about different options for where the floors and baseboards meet. I'm not sure what the other companies would have done or were assuming, but Ted took ample time to talk through running the floor directly to the baseboards versus using stained quarter round, and mentioned that if the thickness changes and the baseboards have to move lower, painting will be required to touch up above them. Ultimately Ted's vision for the project spanned end-to-end and I felt very comfortable that he was telling me everything I needed to know. Ted also made the process very easy for me. No black box of "let me take this back to my office and send you an estimate a week later." Ted knows his stuff and was able to calculate the cost for me before he even left, though he did send me a formal quote after. In fact, he sent me 3 formal quotes, since I decided to explore porcelain tile, LVP, and engineered wood to see how all 3 prices compared across all 3 companies I spoke with. In the end, all the prices were pretty close to each other. I get the sense that none of the good flooring companies around here are pretty much in line with their rates and how they charge (that is, around the same material/labor costs and trying to make a little profit without being greedy). So of course I went with Ted given how well our conversation and follow-up calls went, and he did not disappoint. The finished product turned out great. We went with LVP (luxury vinyl plank) in the whole house (except bathrooms) and Ted and his guys made it look awesome. Oh, and they finished 1 or 2 days ahead of schedule. Couldn't have asked for better work!

They were here for over 7 hours and helped move our furniture out of the rooms and also move back following the install. The carpet looks amazing and we opted in to the plush memory foam padding which adds a more luxurious feel in all the bedrooms. Also, the quality of the carpet is exceptional and super easy to clean out stains simply with some warm water. The pricing and value was great. Very reasonably priced and no surprise fees or surcharges. Strongly recommend Ted's for all your flooring needs!

The first guy actually said, "Your property is quite new, so there aren't many issues." Seriously? This inspector is a complete joke. From Bad Work to Legal Threats in 24 Hours -- My Experience with Integris…read more We hired Integris Property Services to complete a clearly defined list of repairs and improvements to a property including trim and paint work around doors and baseboards. Our realtor who helped us mediate said that this was "the worst workmanship and customer service I have encountered in nearly 30 years in the residential construction and real estate industries." The trim pieces were miscut and mismatched, with large gaps, protruding nails, unfilled nail holes, sloppy caulk joints, and poorly executed texture work. Despite providing clearly labeled cans of matching paint, the wrong colors were used. They spilled paint on floors and brand-new carpet -- even after I specifically asked them to protect it and supplied them with a large roll of painter's plastic sheeting. Over the course of 8 days, Integris sent three different workers -- all of whom provided sub-par work. The third, whom owner Travis Williams described as his "best guy," did no better than the first two. After two walkthroughs with Mr. Williams, it was clear that Integris lacked both the competence and the care to complete the project. I asked them not to return and hired another contractor to correct their mistakes which cost us an additional $2,400--directly caused by Integris' poor workmanship and property damage. The way they handled payment and dispute resolution was equally troubling. THE DAY AFTER sending their "discounted" $900 invoice, Integris began contacting me about nonpayment. Despite my explaining that I was gathering documentation for a legal and legitimate dispute -- and reminding them that homeowners have 30 days to pay a contractor -- they sent multiple legal threats on consecutive days. As soon as it became clear I intended to dispute the charges, they issued a legal notice stating they would place a lien on my home within 10 days. After I responded with a reasonable and lawful dispute timeline, they replied that they would proceed with the lien anyway. All of this occurred within a week of the invoice being sent. In one of their first legal notices, they even stated they would be "amenable to an independent contractor to address deficiencies provided that we submit a substantiated invoice." At the end of all our communication, I paid their invoice to avoid unnecessary legal issues. We submitted a detailed letter outlining all the damage to our home, supported by photos and the invoice from the replacement contractor. At that point all communication on their end stopped. Instead of efforts toward resolution they claimed to be amenable to, we received complete radio silence. This created a bizarre experience: Travis Williams presented himself as personable, helpful, and willing to "move mountains" to address problems -- yet nothing was actually fixed, much was made worse, and at the same time we were receiving threatening legal letters from his company. From my experience, Integris Property Services delivers shoddy work, fails to take responsibility, and resorts to intimidation rather than resolution. Went to them for granite counters, backsplash, and a cap on the pass-thru between kitchen/living area. Heaven forbid if I'd had a large kitchen with a big island but this was a basic small L-shape kitchen with a pass-thru. SHORT STORY...... 1) Measured wrong so cuts were wrong 2) Unprofessional owners and office staff (yet great installers!) 3) Don't go. Just don't. Save yourself the mess, time, and stress LONG STORY............ They measured wrong so of course the granite was cut wrong for the backsplash and for the pass-thru. One end of the backsplash was cut correct, the other end was cut short. Same with the pass-thru cap, one corner was cut correct, 3 corners were cut short. Their answer to that mess? To cut the correct end of the backsplash to match the short end and to cut the one correct corner of the pass-thru cap to match the three mis-cut corners. Really!?!? So the thought apparently was that I should be happy all would match and just ignore that they would all be wrong!!! So the guy comes back out to re-measure and so they can re-cut the backsplash and pass-thru cap. Have to say I've dealt with AHs in my time but will be dammed if the AH will come into my house and act like an AH. So he's throwing a tantrum to show me just how put-out he is, but he re-measured, sort-of, slap here-slap there, done in 3-4 minutes. I thought there is no way this is going to be correct. So the guys come back out to install the re-cut backsplash and pass-thru cap. They bring in the backsplash and of course it's not right. I asked and was assured they would be cutting the 2 new pieces from the same slab but of course the new pieces didn't match!!! I know the different flow to granite but I also know the difference between tan and grey!!! And it wasn't "well it's just because you know the pieces were re-cut". The mis-match was slap-you-in-the-face obvious from across the room mis-match. Even the installers could see it although they couldn't say they gave the "yea it's bad" look!! Of course the re-cut pass-thru cap never made it off the truck. I really believe they used some left-over ends for the new cuts despite their assurances that they were cut from the same slab. I just say "no way". So I call and speak to the guy again who told me several times "he's wasted enough time on this". Says that they came back out and re-measured "at my request". That they re-cut "at my request". Absolutely astounding!!! Considering THEY mis-measured and mis-cut. So I tell them to tear it out, give me my money back, we'll just call it quits, and I'd find a company that can do the work. So the workmen tore out the counters and I picked up a check the following Monday morning. And I did find a company who not only "could do the work" but are professionals who did accurate, precise work, and never once told me "they'd wasted enough time".

We were immediately greeted by a professional/knowledgeable woman at the front desk along with the owner (J.J.). J.J. was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He has almost 20 years of experience in the flooring and tile industry. He was extremely patient with my wife and I as we were very anxious about such a large project. The biggest difference between talking to J.J. is you are getting an experienced person who has installed all of the products on the showroom and will be able to help you truly pick what is best for your family and budget. My wife was very impressed with how good J.J. was at picking out flooring, tiles and how up to date he was on what was in style now and what looks timeless. After speaking with him for a few minutes I knew we had found our company since we were talking to the flooring expert vs someone who had to take a course to be onboarded into the flooring department of the big box store. We ended up picking waterproof vinyl plank flooring, upgraded baseboards and tile for bathrooms and laundry room. The prices were very competitive and MUCH better than big box stores. We came in at the perfect time since JJ and his crew had just finished another job and were available to start work as soon as possible. The crew showed up on time and every member of the team was nice, professional and respectful. The team moved all of our furniture without any hesitation and treated everything as if it were their own home. They finished our entire home in about 2 days. His tile guys are true artists and made our kitchen look amazing! This is truly a family owned business and I met a few members of J.J.'s family during process and they were all wonderful. There were no surprises when the final invoice came in and J.J. and his team did everything exactly as promised. No more do it yourself projects for me!
