They're so honest about exactly what you need done, what you can skip that a dealer will try to sell you, and do it all at a reasonable price. Most recently, I brought in my daughter's Jeep Wrangler for an inspection before her Spring Break road trip. Besides noting it was due for brake and filter changes, Angel also noticed an oil leak. Rather than trying to gouge me for a diagnosis, he told me to take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it. Sure enough, it was a damaged oil pan that had to be replaced- under my warranty. Many shops would try to quote you a price and do it, but I appreciate it when these guys tell me to take the cars to the dealers when there's a big problem. I tried to take the car back there, but Mike argued that he didn't have time to fix it and "wouldn't put our car in front of his other 17 customers". They advised me that to get into the trans and change that, they should replace the whole transmission for a couple hundred more, otherwise they couldn't guarantee the work. And they charged $150 for this "diagnosis". They wanted thousands of dollars for a new transmission, and I was stuck because I couldn't take the emissions test to renew my plates with a check engine light on. Brought it to Tony's Transmissions, and he replaced the sensor in a few days for a few hundred dollars. I can't remember the exact amount because I paid cash and it was about a year ago, but I just saw his business pop up when I was doing a search and remembered that I should have left him a review back then. He really did great work. Check engine light was off, car passed emissions, and we drove it for another year before selling it a friend for his teenage son. Car is still running strong.

When I received the call that my car was finished, they were extremely persistent in trying to get me to agree to more services. I declined multiple times and they finally got the message. When I went to pick up my car, the check engine light was on so I grabbed my father (mind you I'm a 24 year old woman) and went back. I started to explain to the men at the front desk about what happened and they told me that "an oil change and a check engine light have nothing to do with eachother" and thats when my dad stepped in and told them it was not a coincidence. Then they decided to take a look. (of course) When they finsihed up they came back and said that everything is all set and we asked what the problem was. Turns out it was their fault because they did not put the air filter back in properly. The older man who was speaking to us did not turn to me once and spoke directly to my father and only apologized to him. Considering that I was the one who brought the car in, paid for it, and picked it up, I found this extremely disrespectful. Not only have they lost my business, but they have also lost my father's and family's. Learn to treat women with more respect.
