First time getting my hair done at this salon and I have to say I had a wonderful experience. Btw, it's under new management by George and Shane. As I entered I was greeted by the owners. I also met the other hairstylists - Solena, Toni, and Tiana. They also have a barber, formerly from Joe Bono's, Jimmy (Jimmy the barber). Btw, they have a self service corner with coffee/tea/water and snacks. My hairstylist, Shane, seated me right away and explained to me in detail what can be done during my session and what to expect. I like that she explained the process. You know how everyone has this picture of the dream hair you'd like to happen during your session.. well that's me (lols). We all really need to remember.. hairstylists aren't magicians BUT they'll help you reach your hair goal the healthy way. So for my session.. I got the full head of highlights. I have a lot of hair (back of my head) and this took time. Shane didn't rush and she's very detailed. My head literally became her canvas. After the highlights settled to her liking.. she washed my hair giving me the deep conditioning treatment as well as the olaplex. I love the washing part. It feels so good and she scrubs/massages my scalp well. She then proceeded to apply the glaze. Once the glaze settled my hair was washed by Tiana. You can count on her as well. Tiana then completed my session with a blowout and style. She found out I was going out for the evening with my husband and took the time to curl my hair. What I learned about Tiana is that she is very detailed with the final result and wanted to make sure the curls were to her liking. In conclusion, I loved my hair's end result and I can't wait to reach my hair goals. I would definitely recommend for everyone to go here and trust them with your hair needs! I was looking to get my hair done and I stumbled across this deal on Groupon, I bought the full highlights package and decided to try it out. They took my appointment the same day and I walked in and was seated right away with Mila. She explained to me how the Groupon worked, and when I showed her what I wanted, she explained that it would cost more, I was thrown off a bit, but then expected it because I wanted a bit more than just highlights. Anyhow, Mila worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted trying to keep the extra charges to a minimum. I felt comfortable with how she explained everything and she was very knowledgeable about hair lengths, colors, types, etc. Her knowledge made me feel confident she would get me what I wanted. Needless to say, she exceeded my expectations and made my hair look amazing! She made me excited instead of anxious or nervous about the change. I felt so comfortable with her, she is just so happy and energetic and funny! Not to mention a damn good stylist and colorist! The overall place is a small, and some ppl who are used to big stuffy salons will probably think this place is unprofessional, but I'm so into family businesses and walking into this place you feel like you're within family and friends. They use Redken color products in case anyone was wondering. Mila is the absolute best and this by far was the best salon experience I've ever had. I love love love my hair and Mila! I must say this salon is amazing not only do they have excellent hair products but their staff is great as well ! It's so hard to find a great hairdresser these days. I first initially went there to try the Keratin Hair Treatment my first time & that okay. My second visit was to change my hair color previous to going to High Street Cuts my hair was damaged bc of my old hairdresser she didn't cut my hair correctly or didn't attend to it the way it deserved to be attended too. When I went back to High Street for some color it was an amazing experience I highly recommend to ask for Dana Wilson. She will give you recommendations on what you should do & try her very best to help your hair. One of the things I loved was how dedicated she was to fixing my damaged hair she took her time and made my hair look 100xs healthier than it did way before I started dying my hair. My hair color before going to Dana was dark Chocolate & now it's blonde I absolutely love it & as you all may know going Blonde is very damaging. I went in yesterday morning by purchasing through groupon. I drove up and was skeptical about the place but the staff changed that immediately. It was a very small salon, Joe the owner was welcoming, setting me up with a 10:30am appt and then MILA, what can I say about her, she was just beyond wonderful!! I went in wanting a new look for the new year. I was iffy because I have been to many hair salons and had many bad experiences. I was seen at 10:30am not 10:45 or 11am like other salons make you wait regardless of your appt. Mila was just amazing, she looked at my hair asked what I wanted explained what she had to do to achieve my look and we began. She was going to create some balayage but b.c of my previous color some of my hair turned red and copper. She was super patient when correcting it! I am posting this under a rating of 5 stars rather than the 1 star so it can be seen rather than hidden. I found a groupon coupon and was extremely disappointed. First of all the website is deceiving as it makes it seem like this is a unisex salon rather than a busy little barber shop. I give this place a try and get this blonde short chunky girl... I think her name was toniann, Well anyway I got a set of highlights and cut and it was horrible. the highlights were too thick and brassy looking with orange tones, the haircut could have been better in my opinion being that it wasn't a complicated or drastic haircut. This place seems to be a bit unsanitary and disorganized, a little too busy and did have to wait a bit. This salon has poor quality of work from this particular stylist, I had to go elsewhere and get the brassy tones out of my hair and thin out the chunky highlights that were done. read more

I got a haircut, deep conditioning treatment, and a blowout for such an amazing price! High Street Cuts are under new management by Shane and George Arias and they are the most professional and talented people I have ever met. Shane did my boyfriend's hair as well as mine and did a fantastic job on both. Shane is also very talented in dying hair and can basically do anything and everything so I highly recommend her to everyone! The salon was clean and beautifully decorated and the staff were all friendly and well trained! Very professional yet comfortable salon that makes you feel right at home and everyone is so friendly there, not to mention they have a coffee and tea bar as well! I was referred to this salon by a friend of mine & its OFFICIALLY my permanent hair salon. The woman who B L E S S E D my hair was Dana (social media instagram @dana_hairstylist_). My whole life I've gone to countless numbers of hair salons & have been disappointed & never walked out a salon with what I went in for, especially since I have curly hair I have a hard time finding a style, cut or color that would look good on curly hair as well as straight. But I finally found a stylist who can do it all. My hair was extremely damaged, and about 5 different shades of brown & blonde. I went to see Tanya after I purchased a groupon... Initially, I drove past the salon as it's just a little easy to miss, but glad I found it. Immediately I was greeted by the owner who knew my name the second I stepped in. Tanya was lovely! Very funny and super attentive. She did a perfect job on my blonde-perfect. I normally fly back to Chicago to go to my stylist I've been using for many years, but figured I had to find someone I could trust with my hair. She not only did a great job on the color, but also a fabulous job on the cut. I decided to give High Street Cuts a try because of a very appealing Groupon for full highlights, a wash, blowout and deep conditioning treatment. I've been to plenty of salons where although I loved the outcome, I didn't love the hole in my pocket. I walked into this salon and was greeted and then Solena walked over, introduced herself and told me I'd be with her. From the second I met her, she was friendly, bubbly and extremely welcoming. I proceeded to show her a picture of what I was aiming for. I asked her opinion, and she gave it to me straight. She was amazing and I absolutely love my hair! I decided to color and highlight my hair and went to High Street Cuts just because there were lots of positive reviews. And let me tell you, they are all true! This place has an absolutely amazing hair stylist and color specialist Nadine. Not only she fixed multiple hair color pallet I had from various other coloring jobs, she perfected it with an absolutely amazing color and out of this world highlights! I felt like a movie star after my hair were colored and styled. Amazing! I highly recommend this place - worth every penny! I went into the shop just to get my hair highlighted and walked out a brand new woman. Let me start by saying the owner is real nice and friendly makes you feel like you a part of his family. Tanya was the stylist that took care of me and made me feel alive again. She recommended that I shouldn't do highlights because it will turn pink and that I should first darken and cut my hair first and then in a couple of weeks come back for highlights. Oh my god, this place is amazing. Last month I was visiting my family in New Jersey. My cousin proposed this hair salon, in the beginning I wasn't sure, I was very skeptical, in the end I did go. Joe has a nice gentle touch when it came to brushing my hair, which is a first for me since I am very weird when it comes to a stranger combing my hair, they are usually rough, but not here. Wonderful warm welcoming salon! I got a cut and a blow out from Roxann and she did a fantastic job I walked in with a curly knotted ball off mess of hair and she did an amazing job at being my hair back to life.!!! My fiancé and I walked out and all he says to me is your beautiful and we will never go any where but here to have roxann do your hair ever again! Super satisfied with the service I got! I called for an appointment and spoke to Winnie who told me she will be doing my hair (balayage and haircut). She was extremely sweet and SO helpful and very dedicated. Few months ago, I came in for a major color correction. My hair was bright orange and I'm lucky DANA did wonders to my hair (not exaggerating here). It was her complicated hair makeover so far and for me too and I didn't regretted coming in there. She is very efficient and passionate of what she does.
