Snow Crab Legs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Haven't been to High Tide Harry's in over 10 years. So glad they were on Bite30 to get me back over. We started with seared ahi tuna and crab stuffed mushrooms. We also added a half dozen oysters Rockefeller from the regular menu. All three appetizers were delicious. I ordered a key lime pie martini and it was divine! I'm not much for sweet drinks but this one won my heart. I chose the grouper for my entree with a side salad and baked potato. Their bleu cheese dressing is excellent. The grouper was a little too salty for me but was still moist and flaky. I was so full that I took home plenty for lunch tomorrow along with my key lime pie dessert. Our server Nikki was pleasant and helpful. All in all a great experience and reminded me how much I liked this restaurant. Will be back for sure.

High Tide Harry's delivers! We were in Orlando and wanted a non touristy place to eat. Hit up AI and High Tide Harry's came up. We were not disappointed. Our waitress awesome! I wish I could remember her name. She was friendly, had great recommendations and was just an overall wonderful person. We stared off with Oysters Rockefeller; delicious! Followed the orocks up with some raw oysters that came from Louisiana. They were fanatic! We are from New England and typically have smaller oysters. These had such a good flavor to them and were really good and had a nice texture. We had the Seafood Gumbo which was really good. I had the fish tacos and those were seasoned perfectly and tasted really good. This is such a great place to eat! We sat in the bar area at a high top and really enjoyed it!

In all the years we've come to Orlando for some reason had never come here. It's a typical fish place, Florida diner, but I thought the variety of offerings and the quality of the food would have warranted several visits. We got the hush puppies, conch fritters, grilled mahi, and the blue crab. The portions aren't large by American standards m but everything was served hot, well cooked and good tasting. They have a great line up of daily specials. Good service, good atmosphere. Plenty of parking available. Recommend.

Today for lunch we decided to go to High Tide Harry's. When we walked in it was decorated colorfully and we were greeted by the host. We were seated and our drinks were served. The waitress also brought us some hush puppies with cinnamon for an appetizer. The cinnamon butter was good and creamy. A few moments later we were served our lunch specials. My husband ordered the Blackened Maui Sandwich and I got the Clam Strip Platter. Both of our dishes came out piping hot which we were pleased with. My husband said his sandwich was good and he seemed to enjoy it. My clam strips were good too, even though I prefer them to be more on the crispy side. Overall the food was average and I don't mind paying for average food at lunch prices. It was a nice break from eating fast food for lunch.

High Tide Harry's is always a win. I've been coming here since the Colonial location (back in the 2000s), and the quality has never dropped. I ordered the cake crab (easily one of the top five crab cakes I've ever had), coconut shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and a salad... every single item was outstanding. You also can't forget the hush puppies that come with the cinnamon butter (complimentary!!!) the perfect mix of sweet and savory and honestly one of my favorite things on the table. The service was great, even though it was busy, the food came out fast, our sides and hush puppies were brought out quickly, and drinks came right on time. Adrianna was attentive and kept everything moving smoothly. My husband had the ribeye with broccoli and grilled shrimp, and his steak was cooked perfectly. Amazing food, great service, and a place we'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Only downside was i was little under the weather and just overcame a bout w beef taco gone wrong. However, the grilled snapper was sizable portion and garlic mash potatoes were good. The fish could have been improved had it come w some flavor as it was a little bland. The steamed spinach wasn't steam but maybe boiled. All things equal I was a little congested and while my sense of taste and smell was present it is possible they were not at peak and altered the taste. That said, wife had a seafood boil. From it I tasted the corn which was good and a crab leg, also tasty. Not too spicy perfect for my wife while I prefer a little more heat! We also ordered lobster bites and which I had 1 and it tasted good as well. The service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan to try again.

This was my first meal in Orlando for our girls trip and I'm so happy we came here! We were craving seafood after a long flight over so we ordered quite a bit off the menu (only took a few pictures because we were too hungry to wait). We ordered clam chowder, gumbo, a dozen oysters, a dozen clams, conch fritters, fried alligator, crab dip, and oysters rockefeller. The only thing I would skip next time is the fried alligator but the rest of them were so good! I especially loved the conch fritters. They were hot and crispy and seasoned well. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went so we were able to get a table quickly and our waiter was super attentive and kept checking in on us. It's pretty dark inside but the decorations are pretty cool. I would definitely label this as a themed restaurant given how much decorations there are. I will definitely be back here if I'm in Orlando again!

Family took a mini staycation to Orlando and stumbled upon this seafood restaurant. Walking in, the ambiance was cute! It was nicely decorated and our little ones loved the theme. We told our waitress it was our first time and she had no problem providing us with great recommendations. For the kiddos, we got fish fingers and chicken tenders. The only thing left in the plate were French fries, pictured below. My husband got the seared tune and I enjoyed the fried whole snapper. The meal was lovely, prices were reasonable, and we will return on one of our many visits to Orlando.

I've been passing this restaurant on the way to class for quite some time. We finally went and tried it for my dads birthday. It felt like being immersed in an aquarium! I loved all the theming. They were also playing a bunch of oldies, which is totally my vibe. The food was great. I love me a crab dip. It was so warm and toasty and the chips weren't too salty. They also brought us complimentary hush puppies with cinnamon, ugh too good!! My garlic shrimp was delicious. There's many options on how to get your shrimp also, which I feel is hard to find. Our server was the absolute sweetest. She gave us her recommendations and even brought a little brownie out for my dads birthday!! That brownie was delicious. Especially since it was warm and topped with ice cream. We'll definitely be coming back

This is a very popular spot in Orlando, not far from the airport, that says its a fave of the locals. We'll I can say that the locals really support this spot and you can tell by the regulars that sit at the bar and the patrons that the servers know by name. They have a varied menu thay has something for all seafood lovers. The food was well prepared, well seasoned and priced appropriately. This is a restaurant you must try if you are in the Orlando area.

High Tide Harry's has been added onto the HH rotation! Great ambience, tasty food, amazing customer service, & an array of HH options. Came on a Tuesday and had the 2 for 35 meal- 1 app, 2 entrees, and 4 sides (or 2 premium sides). I also ordered a half dozen raw oysters there plump & juicy. The blackened mahi was the best I've had in a while from any restaurant; flaky, moist, and not fishy.

Service was excellent. I was with a large group that was really needy. Our server Ryan was outstanding. He was patient and very responsive. He was on point. Several people got the Captain's Seafood Combo. I didn't get pictures but the portions were unreal and it looked good. Everyone who ordered it took a box home. I'm not a huge seafood eater so I went with the ribeye, loaded baked potato, and green beans. I've always heard that you shouldn't order steak at a seafood restaurant and I have experience that supports that theory. However, you can throw that out the window here. My steak was seasoned to perfection and cooked to the right temperature. The restaurant is a casual dining atmosphere with a few tvs spread about. It's a pretty big space that can accommodate a good number of guests

Stopped by here for a quick bite after attending a conference. The staff were friendly and the food was good. My friend tried the oysters (pictured) and said they were amazing. I had the fried shrimp and a baked potato with green beans (not pictured). The ambiance was nice. Not crowded or noisy. No complaints. I'd dine here again. read more

I saw the reviews and I thought I would give it a try while I was in town. The 2 stars is for the service which was really good otherwise, the food was a disappointment. I had seared ahi for an appetizer and it was definitely no fresh. It tasted several days old and had an unappealing flavor. I chose the snow crab legs for the main and this is where the wheels fell off, they were overcooked and they tasted like they were old leftovers they re cooked. The meat was minimal a couple of legs had almost non meat at all and tasted bland. The baked potato was bland and had no olive oil or sea salt. It was just a bland potato wrapped in foil with sealed butter and sour cream. Considering this is a seafood restaurant, I would expect the quality to be much higher. Thumbs down read more

In Orlando for business and wanted some place close to the airport. Stumbled upon this place, walked in the door and discovered it was 20% off night. Wow! Being from Phoenix, there was one thing on the menu that caught my eye. That's right, fresh stone crab, my favorite, something I don't get very often. Started off with their seafood gumbo and I was in heaven. The food was fantastic, the service exceptional and the ambiance welcoming. I would highly recommend giving them a try. Been here a few times for lunch and was always easy to get seated right away. Resturant is pretty big with plenty of tables. I've enjoyed their raw oysters before and they were pretty decent pricing. I wasnt a fan of their lunch specials they had. I did opt for the fried fish platter and the batter didn't seemed cooked all the way on the inside. Their hush puppies were decent. Great food and we went on a Monday so it was 20% off all dine in food. Michale our server was incredible. Dude was a real salesman and knew the menu intimately. Found this place for lunch based on reviews. Showed up as a 3 top about 1pm on a Thursday. Many cars outside so anticipated a busy place. Very deceiving, it is huge inside, so there was still plenty of seating at tables and booths both in and outside on deck. What you notice first is the decor, huge sharks hanging, fish nets, salty dog statues, and painted tables. The menu and drink choices is vast. Weekday, lunch, and happy hour specials. Started with hush puppies, ribs with fries and cole slaw, crab cakes with sweet potato fries and fried shrimp with house salad and corn. All was very tasty and hot. Unfortunately, there was no room for dessert. I'm looking forward to trying the chowder and mussels next time. read more

I was pretty excited to eat here from other previous yelp reviews. The menu is massive so maybe I should've explored it a little further. Decided to catch the happy hour and was a little overwhelmed. The fried options were lacking the crunch, and more like warm than hot. One thing that was surprisingly amazing was the charbroiled oysters. Today, April 2, 2025 I eagerly went to High Tide Harry's for their advertised Chilean Sea Bass. In my opinion the Chilean bass was a big disappointment. It lacked seasoning and was not served in an appetizing manor. I've had Chilean bass at several restaurants and never tasted a fishy flavor as I did beginning with my first bite today. Most preparations I've had have a buttery rich flavor. My portion today lacked any flavor, except a fishy taste. This was my first disappointing meal at High Tide Harry's. I will be looking for additional reviews to see if mine and my wife's servings today was an outlier. I hope so, because I'm usually pleased with the seafood here. read more

Awesome!! Not another cheesy Florida seafood restaurant- this is the real deal!!! I began with Blue Crab fingers in garlic which were blue crab claws prepared so just the meat hung out for effortless eating . I have not had garlic crab this good since the old days at the plantation house in Fort Lauderdale. I've been moved onto the sharing sampler. In that it was my first day off in a month, probably two or three months I picked three. The comforters were the best I've ever had in my life. In fact, I ordered three side orders to go to take back with me to Las Vegas. The further contained huge chunks of conch, In the batter with a naturally perfect accompaniment, perfectly seasoned perfect face perfect crunch no grease. The fried oysters tasted like fried oysters. Awesome. Not knowing what I was getting into when I ordered. I ordered something safe - potato skins. They were perfect but other than I make it home. The service was perfect and chill. Maddy's recommendations and friendly vibe were spot on. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to HTH, can't believe it took me so long. Having lunch with some collegiate and this is the place they chose. Although I was late meeting them, they have a big lot for parking and ion entering, the inside was just as "seafood festive" as the outside. The server was quick to place my order (seafood boil) with the table already munching on oysters and their first order of Cajun blue crab. My order - the seafood boil, hush puppies and okra came out hot and ready to eat. The boil was seasoned well and the shrimp, corn and sausage was plentiful. You could've tried new or of there by the time it was over. I even had leftovers. It won't take me so long to go back and try other menu items. They seem to have some menu specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays. read more

We found this place on a Reddit thread for good seafood in Orlando. We were immediately seated and the server was very helpful, telling us about their best options. He was quick and gave good recommendations. The environment was sort of funky sea decor, but we liked it and it was very clean. The prices were good and the food/drink was delicious. read more

My family came here for an early dinner. It was happy hour (Tues-Sun 2-6), so we took advantage! I had a $3 Bloody Mary. We got a dozen raw oysters for the table. They were nice and plump! My Dungeness crab was great. I accompanied it with Broccoli and Cukes & Onions. Thomas is the best! read more

I always enjoy the ambiance here. Wry beach vibes and me being a seafood lover its perfect. I had the fried Grouper Sandwich. It was decent. I've had better for sure. My wife had the snow crab and as always it's a lot of work but had great overall flavor. My daughter and her boyfriend had the Fish Tacos. They seemed to like it. Ryan our server did a good job with our service. The Apps came out before our main courses as it should be. You'd be surprise how many places bring it with the main courses. I have to say our Raw oysters were great. And the mussels had good flavor. A little bit too salty for my taste but overall good. read more

I was pretty excited to try this spot. I saw great comments on my Foodie Forum. Alas, it was a bit underwhelming. Upon arrival, we were quickly hit by an extremely fishy smell. Before you ask, YESSSSS, I know this is a seafood restaurant! But, I've never been knocked over by such a smell. Thankfully my hubby didn't join us, because he would have immediately left! Our server, Alphonso, was adorable and patient with our questions. Unfortunately, he wasn't trained enough to answer our questions. He really worked hard though and I'd totally ask for him! On to our food... Hot blue crab dip: salty, and too much cheese. But tasted ok. Raw oysters and charbroiled oysters were great! We had a 3 app taster plate: Conch fritters, fried green tomatoes, calamari. All were just ok. The tomatoes were bland. Conch fritters needed less fritter and more conch. Calamari was rubbery. I considered having Grouper, but the $40 price tag knocked me out! Drinks were good. House Pinot Grigio was great. Moscow mule was on point too. All in all, not sure we'll try it again. I've seen so many seafood restaurants that I think I'll try some of them before returning here. read more

I am impressed! It's been years since I've been to High Tide Harry's and either I didn't notice it last time but the whole restaurant looks great! It's decorated with the ocean theme. I ordered a lb of crab legs and a glass of beer. My partner orders a fishbowl of Yuengling for only $7! Great deal! I was impressed on how fresh the crab legs were and seasoned with the perfect blend of garlic and butter. Comes with two sides too which I h it a baked potato and a salad Service was wonderful. August was our server and she was very friendly and polite Can't wait to go here again and have more crab legs! read more

Great spot for fresh seafood. The waitress started me off with an order of hushpuppies with cinnamon sugar. They were a bit dry to me and the butter too sweet. I ordered 1/2 dozen oyster Rockefeller which came out at the same time as my entree but they were delicious. I ordered the blackened salmon but it wasn't blackened at all. However, the seasoning was great and the side of tarter sauce was flavorful. Each entree comes with 2 sides and I selected the fried okra and steamed broccoli. Okay, HTH is on their way back up. I came in for happy hour and ordered cracked conch, fried okra, and fried oysters. You can't beat $5 for seafood appetizers. I always get the cracked conch when I come here. When cooked right it tastes kind of like lobster to me. And today it was 100% right! The fried oysters were decent. My boyfriend and I went in specifically for oysters and it did not disappoint. I got the Rockefeller oysters and my boyfriend got the chargrilled oysters....both were delicious - cause you know I had to try his, right? I am pleased with my experience at High Tide Harry's. The value was amazing and the food was very good quality. The coleslaw and tacos was a bit bland and the drinks are weak but everything was still great. The menu is huge so I recommend going over it prior to visiting. While driving through Orlando I was craving some conch chowder or fritters and found High Tide Harry's. What a great place! Definitely worth getting off the highway for some great seafood. Fun, campy decor, a very welcoming & friendly staff and a huge menu of seafood choices & more. Melinda, our bartender was very helpful! There was a thick layer of oil on the plate and on the quesadilla. The ladies working there are really nice & helpful. They checked on us several times. I paid really fast & they got us out the door in less than 45 minutes! After my five year statute of limitations passed on repeating restaurants, I looked for the perfect opportunity to come back and try again. I found that opportunity recently with a few friends for brunch. Their brunch menu looked amazing, so we made our reservation and came on by. Ambiance is actually really nice. Right off one of the main WP roads, gigantic windows look out upon the street as passersby roam from shop to shop. Inside looks like an ocean-side sea shack, but an upper middle class one. Very nice little ocean-themed chotchkies adorn the walls, very cozy. Service was also great. Very nice server, very prompt food delivery, and they gave complimentary bread with a delightful butter. I always adore free bread. We started off sharing the Seafood Fritters (Four savory puppies, stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, grouper, onions, corn, poblano peppers, served with a zesty tartar sauce). If all five of those seafoods really were in there, there must have been only a few molecules each, but there was undoubtedly flavors from most of that list, and they were accentuated with the poblano. Topped with that zesty tartar, and this was an A+ app. I had the Lobster Benedict Royale (Chunks of Maine lobster on fried green tomatoes & house-baked buttermilk biscuits, topped with poached eggs & Hollandaise, sprinkled with paprika & chopped green onions). This was indulgent. Pure luxury. A warm biscuit with a good flakiness, that fried green tomato with the perfect thickness and thin, delicate coating, and those perfectly cooked jumbo chunks of lobster on top, all covered in an unctuous Hollandaise. I also got to try the Shrimp Frittata (Wild-caught Florida shrimp, fresh eggs, spinach, Campari tomatoes, goat cheese, caramelized onions, baked in a cast-iron skillet, with wheat toast, butter & a little mixed green salad). It's the perfect mix of delicious food, artsy and fun ambiance, interactive elements, and reasonable pricing. The wait staff is always fantastic, friendly, and great about explaining how things work if you've never visited before. Tu Tu Tango is a small plates restaurant known for their incredible bottomless brunch, which includes a fabulous self serve taco bar and unlimited small plates from their brunch menu. They also have bottomless mimosas at brunch and awesome happy hour specials from 3-6 *and* late night every day except Saturday. All of the food is outstanding and their dishes span a wide variety of options from across the globe. To top it off, the whole restaurant is colorful, funky and the walls are covered with artwork (which you can purchase if you fall in love with a piece!). There is always something going on- from live music to fortune telling to artists sitting at their easels creating right in front of you. I visit Orlando often, and this is the place I always recommend when people ask me where to go. Five stars, don't miss it!

I wish I could find the order form that I took so I could properly give credit to each of the delicious things we ordered. There's a menu and then a small piece of paper with pencils and you put in your order at the bar where they give you a number.

Once we were seated Jessamine (I hope I spelled it right) was absolutely the breath of fresh air we needed. She provided insight on any questions we had and checked on us often and while we had a drink and an appetizer (not much) we were absolutely blown away by the service. The sauces that were drizzled on top helped to amplify the flavor of the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Shroom N Swiss burger. I love how thick and juicy the burger patties are. It's hard to find a good burger place that has thick patties, and The Whiskey delivers that meat. Another thing that blew me away was the mushroom that came on top. Usually, mushroom burgers have little slices of mushrooms, but this burger had a big fat slice of mushroom on top. And it tasted so good. This is a perfect atmosphere to come in, grab a couple drinks, eat good food, and maybe even catch a sports game or live music. Only thing I will say is that it may be a little loud for some, making it hard to hear conversations. But if you love a loud atmosphere, then this place is perfect!

Loved the vibes too. Next time I go will definitely be to catch the live music. I've already recommended this place to friends.

Thank you Brennan for your reply No problem there's a zero chance that you will ever see myself my friends or fellow residents in this restaurant again. It's amazing that 3 different people within a 24 hour period could all give such wrong information And even more amazing that given this was a birthday celebration, which was told to the server, a little bit of compassion, or good customer service was not shown. Perhaps a free drink, baked potato. This is the most over priced and worst seafood place you can imagine!! Stay far away from here as all meals start at $20 or more and specials you have to eat on site???? They are now big money grubbers to the Max! The bar sells food to go, but they won't let you take it off property??? What a huge rip-off this place has become, Stay away at all costs!! Its the worst seafood joint in the Orlando area!! I was there on Semoran yesterday 3 May 2018, and wish I never stopped, as the bar waitress was awful and very rude! They might as well close in my opinion as they have priced themselves out of the Market, even vs Popeyes! Who do they think they are, a first class fooderie? So if I had written this review about the first half of our visit, it would have been much better. However, long story short....the waitress forgot our drinks, forgot to put the order for our appetizers in, didn't care that she had forgot, and then proceeded to charge us for the appetizers that we didn't eat because they came AFTER our main meal. All of that aside, the food was actually really nice. We only went because Joe's Crab Shack next door had closed down! The only thing I would say about the menu is that a lot of the items were priced as "market price" and then you feel like a cheap skate asking for the price of everything!! It wouldn't be as bad if it was just one or two items, but it's really a lot. read more

This place feels a little outdated when you first walk in, and the smell is almost just as welcoming. The service is typically decent but the prices always seem a little unjust, unless you catch their dozen oyster deal or the many specials written on the doors, signs, and walls as you walk in. The bar always has great specials on alcohol aswell, always a plus when it comes to seafood. Our favorite app happens to be the fried crab claws and our dish of choice would have to be the king crab bundle. Always fresh! Horrible horrible horrible is all I can say. Not only was I told that there would be 12 claws, the 4 claws that came out hardly had meat in them, they do come, come cracked, but there were a lot with little to no meat in the claws. Then the manager came out and accused me of lying, and had the audacity to say "I can assure you there were meat in those" as though I ate some and lied. I ate one little piece and as I was looking over the rest, I was confused. The waitress was amazing, however. But the food was less than over whelming. read more

We had an amazing experience. The seafood was amazing starting with the charbroiled oysters OMG!!!!! We sat at the bar with Kelly and Adora, what a great team. They both were so friendly and were so attentive to our needs. We had so many menu questions, being from PA. Kelly took the time to answer everything. High Tide Harry's is one of those classic, can't-go-wrong spots that's been around forever for a reason. We mainly go for happy hour, and honestly, it never disappoints. A couple of cold beers and some fresh oysters? That's our go-to. It's the perfect place if you're just looking for a quick, laid-back stop without anything too fancy. Came because we heard this was " the best seafood in Orlando " while looking for a place to eat out with the family. It was mediocre. Atmosphere seemed okay until it was time to leave where one of the customers addressed us as " the niggers " loud enough for employees to hear... interesting that they'd allow that in their establishment. The menu is a seafood lover's dream! The wait staff was very friendly and attentive during each of our two visits. Patrick was very knowledgeable and recommended to salmon. I was not disappointed. My friends ordered the King Crab and oysters (two dozen), which were both fresh and tasty. Kelly, upon our second visit introduced us to their hush puppies, which were delicious.
