A friend and I decided to try High Tide Harry's on a Wednesday during happy hour. The interior reminds me of many of the fun restaurants you might stumble across in the keys. Service was also great and very quick. On Wednesdays, raw and steamed oysters are only $1 each, while oysters Rockefeller are $2 each. These were well worth it and very delicious. I definitely plan on going back for such a great deal. The fired gator bites and pickles were also pretty good and I appreciated the complimentary hush puppies, which while a little dry, tasted great with the cinnamon butter. Their bar also made a great margarita.
As a longtime Central Floridian, I feel it is a crime that I didn't know about High Tide Harris. I went for the first time with my coworkers for lunch. It was actually recommended by the CEO of my workplace. I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint because the food was delicious. They serve seafood and their menu is extensive including daily specials. This spot has character for sure from the outside to the inside the decorations stand out. The theme is all about the sea and it adds to the experience. Since we went for lunch, we ordered from their lunch menu. Some got popcorn shrimp, oysters, peel and eat shrimp and more. The things we ordered came with two sides. I ordered the fries and coleslaw but I also got a chance to try the fried okra and it was good. Oh and you get complimentary hushpuppies. That's a great way to start your visit. Service was great and prices were even better. There's indoor and outdoor seating plus a bar area. Definitely check it out.
High Tide Harry's delivers! We were in Orlando and wanted a non touristy place to eat. Hit up AI and High Tide Harry's came up. We were not disappointed. Our waitress awesome! I wish I could remember her name. She was friendly, had great recommendations and was just an overall wonderful person. We stared off with Oysters Rockefeller; delicious! Followed the orocks up with some raw oysters that came from Louisiana. They were fanatic! We are from New England and typically have smaller oysters. These had such a good flavor to them and were really good and had a nice texture. We had the Seafood Gumbo which was really good. I had the fish tacos and those were seasoned perfectly and tasted really good. This is such a great place to eat! We sat in the bar area at a high top and really enjoyed it!
Haven't been to High Tide Harry's in over 10 years. So glad they were on Bite30 to get me back over. We started with seared ahi tuna and crab stuffed mushrooms. We also added a half dozen oysters Rockefeller from the regular menu. All three appetizers were delicious. I ordered a key lime pie martini and it was divine! I'm not much for sweet drinks but this one won my heart. I chose the grouper for my entree with a side salad and baked potato. Their bleu cheese dressing is excellent. The grouper was a little too salty for me but was still moist and flaky. I was so full that I took home plenty for lunch tomorrow along with my key lime pie dessert. Our server Nikki was pleasant and helpful. All in all a great experience and reminded me how much I liked this restaurant. Will be back for sure.
In all the years we've come to Orlando for some reason had never come here. It's a typical fish place, Florida diner, but I thought the variety of offerings and the quality of the food would have warranted several visits. We got the hush puppies, conch fritters, grilled mahi, and the blue crab. The portions aren't large by American standards m but everything was served hot, well cooked and good tasting. They have a great line up of daily specials. Good service, good atmosphere. Plenty of parking available. Recommend.
Today for lunch we decided to go to High Tide Harry's. When we walked in it was decorated colorfully and we were greeted by the host. We were seated and our drinks were served. The waitress also brought us some hush puppies with cinnamon for an appetizer. The cinnamon butter was good and creamy. A few moments later we were served our lunch specials. My husband ordered the Blackened Maui Sandwich and I got the Clam Strip Platter. Both of our dishes came out piping hot which we were pleased with. My husband said his sandwich was good and he seemed to enjoy it. My clam strips were good too, even though I prefer them to be more on the crispy side. Overall the food was average and I don't mind paying for average food at lunch prices. It was a nice break from eating fast food for lunch.
High Tide Harry's is one of those classic Orlando restaurants that never disappoints. We started with the complimentary hush puppies and cinnamon butter, which were dangerously good. The charbroiled oysters were loaded with garlic butter, Parmesan and Old Bay, and the crab legs came out hot, meaty and easy to crack. Portions are generous, the seafood tastes fresh, and the service is friendly and attentive. The colorful nautical décor gives it a fun, casual Old Florida feel that fits the restaurant perfectly. High Tide Harry's has been serving Orlando since 1995, and it's easy to understand why locals continue coming back.
High Tide Harry's is always a win. I've been coming here since the Colonial location (back in the 2000s), and the quality has never dropped. I ordered the cake crab (easily one of the top five crab cakes I've ever had), coconut shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and a salad... every single item was outstanding. You also can't forget the hush puppies that come with the cinnamon butter (complimentary!!!) the perfect mix of sweet and savory and honestly one of my favorite things on the table. The service was great, even though it was busy, the food came out fast, our sides and hush puppies were brought out quickly, and drinks came right on time. Adrianna was attentive and kept everything moving smoothly. My husband had the ribeye with broccoli and grilled shrimp, and his steak was cooked perfectly. Amazing food, great service, and a place we'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
Only downside was i was little under the weather and just overcame a bout w beef taco gone wrong. However, the grilled snapper was sizable portion and garlic mash potatoes were good. The fish could have been improved had it come w some flavor as it was a little bland. The steamed spinach wasn't steam but maybe boiled. All things equal I was a little congested and while my sense of taste and smell was present it is possible they were not at peak and altered the taste. That said, wife had a seafood boil. From it I tasted the corn which was good and a crab leg, also tasty. Not too spicy perfect for my wife while I prefer a little more heat! We also ordered lobster bites and which I had 1 and it tasted good as well. The service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan to try again.
Loved High Tide Harry's! Their $35 Tuesday special was absolutely fantastic! We had buffalo shrimp, gator tail, crab cake, clam chowder, mac & cheese, and fries--all delicious with very generous portions. The fun ocean-themed decor gives the whole restaurant a cool, laid-back coastal feast, and the service was super friendly and accommodating to provide exceptionally quick service before a flight. Definitely worth a stop!
I love this place! A great stop for a meal when you fly in to MCO! The food and service are always outstanding . A fishbowl full of beer, does it get any better? Their special hand cleaner takes away all the shellfish yuk!
This was my first meal in Orlando for our girls trip and I'm so happy we came here! We were craving seafood after a long flight over so we ordered quite a bit off the menu (only took a few pictures because we were too hungry to wait). We ordered clam chowder, gumbo, a dozen oysters, a dozen clams, conch fritters, fried alligator, crab dip, and oysters rockefeller. The only thing I would skip next time is the fried alligator but the rest of them were so good! I especially loved the conch fritters. They were hot and crispy and seasoned well. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went so we were able to get a table quickly and our waiter was super attentive and kept checking in on us. It's pretty dark inside but the decorations are pretty cool. I would definitely label this as a themed restaurant given how much decorations there are. I will definitely be back here if I'm in Orlando again!
Friday, 06/13/2026, at approximately 4:00 PM, we arrived and were seated promptly. The restaurant was not very busy, and most of the tables were empty. After placing our order, we waited approximately 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and soft drinks. After that, more than an hour passed without receiving our meals. During that time, no one provided an update on our order, and it appeared that we had been forgotten. I eventually had to get up from my table and ask to speak with a manager. The manager was polite and explained that due to a computer glitch, the kitchen had never received our order. She stated that the food could be prepared immediately. I thanked the manager and offered to pay for the appetizers and beverages so that we could leave and dine elsewhere. The manager declined payment for the appetizers and drinks and said she understood why we chose to go to another restaurant. While I appreciate the manager's professionalism and courtesy, we left disappointed due to the lengthy wait, the lack of communication, and the failure of our order to reach the kitchen. What little we did eat was mediocre and nothing to brag about :(
I was pretty excited to try this spot. I saw great comments on my Foodie Forum. Alas, it was a bit underwhelming. Upon arrival, we were quickly hit by an extremely fishy smell. Before you ask, YESSSSS, I know this is a seafood restaurant! But, I've never been knocked over by such a smell. Thankfully my hubby didn't join us, because he would have immediately left! Our server, Alphonso, was adorable and patient with our questions. Unfortunately, he wasn't trained enough to answer our questions. He really worked hard though and I'd totally ask for him! On to our food... Hot blue crab dip: salty, and too much cheese. But tasted ok. Raw oysters and charbroiled oysters were great! We had a 3 app taster plate: Conch fritters, fried green tomatoes, calamari. All were just ok. The tomatoes were bland. Conch fritters needed less fritter and more conch. Calamari was rubbery. I considered having Grouper, but the $40 price tag knocked me out! Drinks were good. House Pinot Grigio was great. Moscow mule was on point too. All in all, not sure we'll try it again. I've seen so many seafood restaurants that I think I'll try some of them before returning here. read more

I came into for a quick lunch! Not only did the food come out quick but my server Kelly was really sweet! I was eating lunch alone and he didn't make me feel awkward at all! I had the lunch special and got half off on the oysters for a steal! I would come back here because the food is so yummy! Everything was hot and fresh no freezer after taste here! read more
Okay, HTH is on their way back up. I came in for happy hour and ordered cracked conch, fried okra, and fried oysters. You can't beat $5 for seafood appetizers. I always get the cracked conch when I come here. When cooked right it tastes kind of like lobster to me. And today it was 100% right! The fried oysters were decent. I had a few bits of shell, so be careful and bite slowly. I will be coming back soon! read more

My boyfriend and I went in specifically for oysters and it did not disappoint. I got the Rockefeller oysters and my boyfriend got the chargrilled oysters....both were delicious - cause you know I had to try his, right? We had $5 margaritas that were strong enough to keep coming back so it definitely means we'll be back. The decor also literally feels like you are sitting under the sea. Highly recommend read more
While driving through Orlando I was craving some conch chowder or fritters and found High Tide Harry's. What a great place! Definitely worth getting off the highway for some great seafood. Fun, campy decor, a very welcoming & friendly staff and a huge menu of seafood choices & more. Melinda, our bartender was very helpful! We decided on fried oysters, conch fritters and their specialty crab soup. The soup was definitely homemade with chunks of crab, potatoes and vegetables. YUM! The fried oysters were fresh, plump & crispy. The conch fritters were the best I have ever had with chunks of conch in a tasty cake. Happy hour Tuesday-Fridays 2-6. We were visiting from the DMV area and my daughter wanted seafood. On the ride back from Disney Springs I saw a billboard for High Tide Harry's and knew I had to go. I checked the menu and saw they had steamed blue crabs!! WIN!! We had calamari, gator bites and a dozen medium crabs. Everything was pretty good. The crabs were cooked well, can't compare to Maryland but they did their job. Pretty big for mediI wish they had paper for the table though. Had to eat the crabs on a bigger plate. I'd def go back again every time I visit Orlando though. read more

Great spot for fresh seafood. The waitress started me off with an order of hushpuppies with cinnamon sugar. They were a bit dry to me and the butter too sweet. I ordered 1/2 dozen oyster Rockefeller which came out at the same time as my entree but they were delicious. I ordered the blackened salmon but it wasn't blackened at all. However, the seasoning was great and the side of tarter sauce was flavorful. Each entree comes with 2 sides and I selected the fried okra and steamed broccoli. The broccoli needed a little salt/pepper but was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back when in the area. read more
The word "Florida" brings up many different visuals. Some see swampland with a lot of gators. However, for me, I think of seafood. Lobsters, crab, and shrimp... oh my! Upon researching and reviews, I determined that High Tide Harry's was the place that we had to visit. The place was easy enough to find. My wife and I decided to try taking the local streets from SeaWorld to here... something I do not recommend. Take the expressway, it is must faster! The timing of our visit was perfect. It was the perfect time for their happy hour which included dollar oysters. As a result, we had to start with 12 of them. Not sure what kind of oysters we had, but they were big in size. Came with horseradish and some tabasco. Also, they dropped off some saltine crackers. For dinner, I ordered the Lobster tail which had a beautiful color.... From the sear to the paprika or something similar on top. With a side of garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. My wife ordered the snow crab and king crab. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was amazing and friendly. Overall the food and price was amazing. I expected my bill to be twice what it was. The service was friendly and amazing. I am pleased with my experience at High Tide Harry's. The value was amazing and the food was very good quality. The coleslaw and tacos was a bit bland and the drinks are weak but everything was still great. The menu is huge so I recommend going over it prior to visiting. My server and the runner were really nice as. I will likely eat here again this week because the amount of food they give and deals they have are definitely a plus. read more

We came to High Tide Harry's for dinner on a Friday night and were thrilled. It was absolutely delicious! I got the strawberry drink which was good but a little too strong for my tastes... probably won't get again. We did get the hush puppies and cinnamon butter- be sure to ask for it if you want it! My husband got the burger and enjoyed it (he doesn't eat seafood). My mother in law got the Mahi Mahi and said it was divine. She hadn't ever had Mahi Mahi and was very happy with it. She likes the broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes too. I got the whitefish and it was huge! Two fillets! I got a side salad which was underwhelming and a side of clam chowder. The fish was delicious- I got it grilled. I wouldn't get the salad again. Lastly I got my daughter grilled chicken strips and she enjoyed them, although she loved my fish more! Our server was so so- not the best. It wasn't too busy, but busy enough. Loved all the decorations! It was a great dinner. We will be back. read more
Continuing my conquest of the best restaurants in Orlando, I decided to check this place out. The readers of Orlando Weekly voted this place one of the best seafood restaurants in town. I grew up on the Gulf Coast, so I've really been searching for amazing seafood in Orlando since I've gotten here over five years ago. I ordered The Appetizer Sampler with 1. Buffalo Shrimp, 2. Crab Cake, and 3. Cracked Conch. The Shrimp were the best part of the platter. They had a good Buffalo flavor without being too ridiculously spicy. I was a fan. The Conch was not so good. Conch inherently gets chewy if not treated right. And these were not. Avoid these. I also ordered the Captain's Seafood Combo (Big Shrimp, Scallops, Whitefish Filets & a petite Crab Cake). The most surprising thing in this combo was the Scallops. I've never had deep fried scallops before, but these were very nicely cooked. I recommend these. The Whitefish was also good. Huge filets that you can get blackened if you want. I got them fried because I was in a go big or go home kind of mood. The crab cake was not good. I could tell that the carb filler was crab flavored, at least. Avoid them if you can. I also had the Soft Shell Crab Sandwich. This was a-ok. So were the sides I had. Macaroni & Cheese and Marinated Cukes & Onions. I also ordered two additional sides that were not in my to-go bag when I got home. Disappointing. Overall, I liked this place just fine. If you live in the area and want a well-priced seafood dinner, I'd say come here. But in terms of Gulf Coast quality in Orlando, my search continues. read more

A very affordable seafood spot for all the variety they have to offer, especially their lunch and dinner specials. Do come here for their seafood (crabs!) Not much for their sides... You can't go wrong with any of their crabs. I've had their dungeoness, blue crabs and both were awesome... read more

Service was great. Food was delicious. and the decor inside was done beautifully . They offer a lot of specials. The snow crabs were really good. We ordered 2 lbs on top of our appetizer and entry's so it was a little too much but we didn't mind taking food home. Decently priced for a seafood place. they also have a lot of on the land options. read more
Looking for some great Crab... This is a pound of snow crab and garlic shrimp. Hot. Fresh and taste amazing. Service was great. Sat down right away and ordered drinks. I am here from out of town visiting my mom. I know about high tide Harry's becauseI'be eaten there before. Tonight we started with a dozen of raw oysters and we also took advantage of the six dollar sharing appetizer which we had fried green tomatoes and fried oysters. I had a cold glass of Yuengling beer and my mom had a Chardonnay. The oysters came on ice. The only issue I had was that I could see a little bit of the juice to appear slimy. That was a little offputting. The fried oysters were delicious and plump. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, and it was more than the two of us could eat. Our server was very nice, but she seemed to be a little slow in getting our order. We saw another couple that sat down after us, and received their drink order and their food before us.I am not sure if our waiter had more tables than the other waiter. Overall I highly recommend high tide Harry's take advantage of their Wednesday $.99 oysters and their happy hours that start from 2 PM to 6 PM. read more

My husband insisted we got seafood before we headed back up to Michigan. He seen they were having happy hour and only a few minutes from the hotel! We were quickly greeted and seated, def red lobster 90's decor vibes. Our waitress was the sweetest and knew the menu inside and out. We were in the sun all day so my appetite was limited. I ordered oysters Rockefeller which were fresh and delicious. Some fried mushrooms because you can never not, and fried green tomatoes! Oh and don't forget crawfish! The food tasted good & was fresh but nothing that stands out as above and beyond. Good customer service would come here again when staying close by. read more
I was craving seafood. Atmosphere was dim and they provide social distancing seating. My dining experience here was not great. My two complaints were .... the waiter came to our table and would only address my friend as if I wasn't there. She continued to make errors to my dinning experience and lost her tip for the night! .... the other concern was they used way too much ole bay seasoning and batter!! Not a great night for the cook either.... definitely ruined my craving and then the check came!!! Not worth it at all!!!! read more

The very best variety of seafood in town. Daily specials (check online...there are a lot of specials!). Family friendly. Loads of seating. Not a high end restaurant (food served in baskets, paper towel rolls on table, etc), but portions are more than fair for the prices. read more

My friend Tom that comes all the time recommend me this restaurant and it worked out perfect to grab lunch then go to the airport since it's was convenient 10 mins from airport! Randomly decided to go here and it was better than expected! The oyster Harry's and shrimp poboy was great! Hushpuppies comes to the table for everyone to share and it was good. I just wish it was a bit sweeter, but thats just my preference. read more
