The area dictates that's it's for sure a small town style bar/restaurant. First and foremost, this place was surprisingly packed. Usually a good sign meaning there was something good going on, and considering it was 10am, I'm guessing the food. When I walked in though, definitely some people already getting their Sunday groove on with drinks too. I ordered the 6oz steak and eggs, and chose the potatoes. Steak was done to a perfect medium rare. Eggs were sunny side up and runny, just how I like em. Potatoes were done perfectly crisp, and cooking it with red pepper and onion adds another flavor profile to it. I crack the egg yolks and dip both steak and potatoes into it and it was nothing short of awesome. Service was great too. I didn't get welcomed or anything, but it's a bar after all so I just walked up and asked if I could sit anywhere. Chose to eat at the bar and they were attentive. My first time here, but I noticed the staff knowing a lot of the patrons and the people walking in, giving the "where everybody knows your name" vibe. Great spot and right next to a golf course. I get it, she was close to 21 and the establishment could have been compromised if anyone from the liquor board had come to check. The second time however, I was with someone aged 55. He looks 55. This is a someone who would have only ordered top shelf, and would have frequented the place. There is absolutely no way that anyone could confuse him for under 21. Ever. Not even under 30. It's a shame, but I guess they don't need our business. Seems poor form to put bad will into your community that way, but from the other 1 star reviews here, it's clear these business owners don't mind. I am assuming, after all the poor reviews, that they have given their staff the authority to turn away high paying customers, so while I don't get their business model, more power to them.

She was ok- but her friend (a larger white girl, dark hair, and obnoxiously drunk) threw my jacket on the floor. Ok- whatever. My partner asked her about it and she went bezerk- started yelling and slapped his hat off as we were leaving. Thankfully a guy in her group pulled her back inside and my partner kept his cool. I won't be back. Too bad- this place would be a welcoming spot but when they allow their customers to act like fools- well, it's a recipe for disaster.
