When she came and asked me about it, I said, let me take it to Charlie at Scheidegger Collision Services. This car is about 5 years old but in great condition. Charlie looked at it and said, she ought to replace both hinges and paint them. His quote was $450.00. Now you might think that is just a fluke price but i had a trim on my Buick get hit by a swinging door. In topeka they want 200 for the trim piece plus the labor. Scheidegger ordered the new piece and when it came in it was replaced in 10 minutes. Bill was super easy to work with and schedule with, and although he was very honest up front about being bearish on being able to remedy the car with door dings (due to make/model issues with safety bracing, metal composition, etc.), he exceeded even his own expectations and was able to perfectly remedy ALL the dents in even that tougher car!
