HV BBQ blew me away! The food was absolutely awesome we couldn't stop eating. The meat was incredibly moist and packed with flavor, no sauce needed! But they have sauces by the table and offer sauce as well to the to-go-orders. The staff was super friendly and even offered a few samples of the tri-tip and burnt ends, which were phenomenal. Can't wait to come back when we visit Brian Head. Wish they also had a location in Brian Head and move one down to Vegas! Hint, Hint, Hint! They're only open on Fri-Sat from 11 AM to 7 PM, so plan accordingly! If you're visiting, this spot is a must-try, you won't be disappointed. Your only regret? That they aren't open more often or located in your town! They will take orders over the phone and you can pick up if needed. Ordered: Slaw Mac n' Cheese Elote Cream Corn (spicy) Brisket 2lbs Chicken 1lb Portk 2lbs

These are the tachos (tater tot nachos with pulled pork!) Double yum!!

Wow what a gem! The BBQ was amazing, customer service top notch, atmosphere clean and inviting! It is a family-owned restaurant where everything is homemade- and you can taste the love in everything! They treat you like family when you walk in the door! My kids said they would give it a million stars and that the hubby/wife owners are the nicest people in all of Utah. We loved everything from the homemade BBQ sauce options to the elote corn, pulled pork sandwiches to the brisket! Yum! We also loved the tachos and frachos !! We would definitely come here again whether we are visiting Zion Canyon or Brianhead again- it's worth the drive! Memorable and delicious- thank you and aloha!

Brisket sandwich and smoked Mac& cheese side.

Great grub. Never disappoints. Friendly folks. Cool place to dine-in too. Wide variety of smoked meats and smoked Mac & cheese too.

I travel all over the world for work (and play). Subsequently, I eat a lot of great food and consider myself on the level of "elite foodie" This place is THE best bbq I've ever had. Hands down. There isn't anything even close. Whenever I eat bbq anywhere else, I find myself wishing I was at High Voltage. Great service. Insane food. My favorites are the Frychos, Tacos, Totchos, brisket and ALL of the wings. Awesome atmosphere and great service.

I have had bbq in many places in the country and this it at the top! The tender brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, and turkey slices are amazing! The garlic wings are also a good choice. They also have several different choices of sauces which are all top shelf! The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife and they definitely know how to run a business! Thank you for the best bbq I have had in years. Keep up the great customer service, I know I will be coming back!

OH. MY. HECK. Run here as fast as you can, Utah! I'm from Texas, and I hung my head in shame at how AMAZING their brisket is! Firm, yet yielding, marbled but not grossly fat, and beautifully seasoned. This ain't your grandpa's brisket. Or maybe it is. If so, I want to meet your grandpa and be best friends. The pulled pork was very, very good and only paled in comparison to the brisket. Like Suzie next door is the cutest until you meet Gigi Hadid. The burnt ends were made of pork belly and not really burnt ends but quite tasty regardless. My only beef (yeah I'm still thinking about the brisket), is that the potato salad had pickles but that's just me. Do be warned, the tanks that hold the tea seem to house the soda dispenser variety, not fresh brewed. But everyone is super friendly and accommodating and the service was quick. The interior is rock and roll themed and very cute with a good amount of seating inside and out. Overall a great experience.

Just found my new taco spot far away from home…read more Since I've been trucking for almost a week now, I've had the chance to try new food spots on the road -- mostly takeout, no sit-down -- and this place genuinely surprised me. The food was hot, fresh, and way better than expected. If I'm being honest, it was kind of a shocker. It's almost sad to say, but this was better than a lot of what I've had on my recent occasions in San Antonio. I stopped in quickly since we had to get back on the road, and from ordering to food in hand it took no more than 5-7 minutes. I ordered three mini tacos at $3 each, which is a solid price for Utah. I went with one carne asada, one lengua, and one adobada, all topped with cilantro and onion, served on fresh corn tortillas. The tortillas were soft, warm, and clearly made fresh. For salsas, I had two salsa verdes and one salsa roja. The salsa verde was classic and mild -- very fresh and flavorful, though I personally prefer it a bit spicier. The salsa roja delivered exactly what I was looking for with good heat and great flavor. I almost ordered tacos suaves, but I was really craving the mini tacos and I'm glad I went with them. Next time, I'll definitely try the tacos suaves. Everything tasted freshly made and not rushed, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is located inside the Flying J off Interstate 15 (Exit 112), and I was also impressed with how clean the Flying J itself was. Great service as well -- the guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming. This stop turned into a great meal and a new memory in the small town of Beaver, Utah. I'll definitely be back if my routes bring me through again. Highly recommend stopping by Beaver Taco if you're passing through.

First off, we totally missed the truck but was able to find it using gps. The truck is small and runs next to an RV Park. We ended up parking on the street and just walked to find it. The signs were helpful and the blue truck color made it stand out. We were greeted by a very friendly server and answered our questions. We have never had a Birria so we wanted to order one since the photos from the business owner looked good. I have to say that the photo and the meal served did not match. We felt a bit deceived, since it didn't look nearly as delicious as the photo. However, we were pleased to try the soft birria and shared one between me and my husband. It was good but not special. I guess u can't really expect mind-blowing from a simple food truck. Sad to say we were not able to take a photo. We were so hungry after driving for hours from Monument Valley- we were hangry. After eating 1 birria and 2 tacos, we ended up getting more food somewhere else. In as much as I would like to support small businesses, I think some work needs to be done. Modifying the menu to make it clearer or perhaps creating a menu with pictures to help. Bottom line? I would recommend it if you're craving for some tacos and Mexican food in the area since there really aren't that much to choose from.

This place serves up some of the freshest, most authentic Mexican grub I've had in southern Utah. We ordered a mix of their street tacos (the carne asada and al pastor are absolute standouts--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime) along with their homemade horchata and a side of beans. We also enjoyed one of their daily specials, with a staff-recommended chia-lime and strawberry fresca, and everything was amazing. Everything was made to order, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. The staff was super friendly and quick, even during the dinner rush, and the casual vibe with outdoor seating made it perfect for unwinding with the kids.
