Great food, great service. Don't let the name throw you off, they love rock music. We stopped in 30 minutes before they closed and so glad we did. We ordered the ribs, tri tip, smoked mac & cheese, cole slaw and pickled jalapenos & onions. The ribs, outstanding. The tri tip outstanding. The mac & cheese was addicting; I kept going back for another bite. The cole slaw, not creamy or vinegar base. I thought it was mainly cabbage very lightly dressed. Didn't really taste anything but the cabbage. The jalapenos & onions, again, outstanding! The service was great. We did notice when we were getting our mac & cheese the server was scraping the pan to get every scrap instead of digging into the fresh pan right next to it. They also offer 3 very different sauces for your meats that truly cover everyones palette. They were all three delicious. We saw that there was 3 bbq places in Parawon. Not sure why you would go anywhere but here... it's that good!!! We'll definitely be back on our next visit. read more

The food here is top notch! We had brisket tacos, chicken tacos, and pork tatchos to get a sample of the meats. They are smoking these meats right - lots of flavor (no sauce needed), and all tender, not dried out. They do offer a selection of sauces at the table if you want. We also got the pasta salad and cream corn for sides - both were excellent. The portions are quite large so we had leftovers - more to enjoy later. The service was also wonderful - everyone was very friendly and someone checked with us to be sure we had everything and were happy with our food. HV BBQ blew me away! The food was absolutely awesome we couldn't stop eating. The meat was incredibly moist and packed with flavor, no sauce needed! But they have sauces by the table and offer sauce as well to the to-go-orders. The staff was super friendly and even offered a few samples of the tri-tip and burnt ends, which were phenomenal. Can't wait to come back when we visit Brian Head. Wish they also had a location in Brian Head and move one down to Vegas! Hint, Hint, Hint! I have had bbq in many places in the country and this it at the top! The tender brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, and turkey slices are amazing! The garlic wings are also a good choice. They also have several different choices of sauces which are all top shelf! The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife and they definitely know how to run a business! OH. MY. HECK. Run here as fast as you can, Utah! I'm from Texas, and I hung my head in shame at how AMAZING their brisket is! Firm, yet yielding, marbled but not grossly fat, and beautifully seasoned. This ain't your grandpa's brisket. Or maybe it is. If so, I want to meet your grandpa and be best friends. The pulled pork was very, very good and only paled in comparison to the brisket. Like Suzie next door is the cutest until you meet Gigi Hadid. The burnt ends were made of pork belly and not really burnt ends but quite tasty regardless. My only beef (yeah I'm still thinking about the brisket), is that the potato salad had pickles but that's just me. Do be warned, the tanks that hold the tea seem to house the soda dispenser variety, not fresh brewed. But everyone is super friendly and accommodating and the service was quick. Delicious!! We were in on Saturday the 18th and had the brisket sandwich, pork tacos and tachos with brisket. Everything was amazing!! The owners were there and customer service was top notch! We were in line ordering and were handed a sample of the brisket the owner just freshly sliced. We were so impressed that we ordered food for our son's birthday the following day. And it was just as delicious! The only thing I am bummed about is that it's 7 hours away from where we live and they are only open on Saturdays! As a Texan who takes his BBQ very seriously I can say that these folks live up to the Texas standard in my book. The brisket that I had was so tender and juicy and just cooked to perfection. I also had some of their tri-tip and jalapeño sausage that was phenomenal as well. And everyone there was so friendly and inviting when I asked what they suggested. The pit master came out and chatted with us personally and even offered some samples to us. I totally recommend this place 10/10 times! I was able to get some of their food when they were in cedar but I have been meaning to visit their brick and mortar location. I have not been able to check out their Parowan location yet, however it is for sure on my list to head over there soon! read more
