We have been stopping here on our trips from Las Vegas to Boise for a couple years now. It is so worth the stop off I-15 if you want amazing homemade food with such a cute and interesting decor! I usually get breakfast but this time got their Philly sandwich. OMG! What flavor! The beef practically melted in my mouth and the sautéed mushrooms must have been picked that day! Wow! It is family run with the mom, who had just canned their strawberry rhubarb jam that morning! We've bought couple other jams or jellies and all were delicious! Love DeDe's cafe for breakfast! Saw this place driving to Brian Head and had to come back to have breakfast. Quaint space in a log cabin that is a perfect breakfast destination. Just enough room for a group if needed, but they can fill up quickly. Service is very personal and warm. Greeted with a smile and seated right away. Place quickly filled up and the service was still on point. The lady inside worked her butt off and did awesome taking care of us. Food was excellent. We got blueberry hotcakes, hot dang skillet, corned beef hash and their special of pumpkin caramel French toast. Hot dang skillet was so good! The country potatoes were crispy and tender at the same time with onion and pepper. On top was pepper jack and jalepenos. Came with 2 eggs and choice of meat. I got their homemade sausage. Very good. Also came with tortillas or toast. I got toast and tried their strawberry rhubarb jam. Yummy! Jam was so good. I really enjoyed and was stuffed after eating. Rest of my group thought their food was great as well. Hotcakes came with regular or boysenberry syrup. Boysenberry was awesome with the hotcakes. French toast special was devoured and received 2 thumbs up. The corned beef hash was superior to other places. It was a huge portion and perfect savory and salty combo. Stopped here for breakfast on the way home from Brian Head. It's super convenient and on the way home for us. We were seated promptly and greeted warmly. The aesthetic is farm house. They also sell seasonal items that are displayed throughout the store. I ordered a traditional two egg breakfast with ham. My daughter got the blueberry pancakes. They were both delicious. The server offered strawberry rhubarb syrup for her pancakes. It was delish. Our server was so nice and calm. I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 over medium eggs and crispy fried home style potatoes!! Can we talk about those for a minute? They were the best darn country potatoes I have had in a long while!! That's also why it gets its own photo!! The split biscuit was fluffy even with the yummy thick gravy on top. we ate dinner at Dede's Farmhouse Cafe in Parowan Friday night. First and last time. We both ordered the fish and chips. They were over cooked with many black spots on the crust & the fish was very dry. We should have sent it back & asked for something else. The meal came with clam chowder, the strangest looking and tasting chowder I've ever had. It was a light brown color, we couldn't taste any clams plus it was extremely thick. We had planned on ordering berry cobbler for dessert but since the meal was so bad, we agreed to go without. We CANNOT recommend it. read more
