I love river front dental. At my first visit, Dr Hall sat down to get to know me - as a person! He asked questions about my hobbies and my work, not just my mouth. Every time I get my teeth cleaned, my hygienist asks me about what's going on with my life (before she's working in my mouth) so we can have an actual conversation. The office is very high tech. They take pictures of my teeth to show me problem areas. It's easy to trust them when I see the issue for myself. read more

Do not go here! I went to see Rachel Aziz for a simple cavity fill & I told her where the cavity was exactly. It was causing pain to where I couldn't eat. I told her I had a dental surgery a couple weeks later so I need the cavity filled so that I can eat on that side of my mouth. (if the cavity was not fixed, I wouldn't be able to eat after my surgery because it would be too sensitive). I paid for the visit & the x-ray just for her to tell me that I do not have a cavity there. (Which I do.) She told me that I shouldn't worry about it until my surgery was done & that a cavity isn't what's causing the pain. I called my previous dentist & they sent over an x-ray showing that there IS a cavity there & that cavities definitely do cause that much pain.) So because of her, I won't be able to eat or even drink room temperature water BC she couldn't identify a cavity that other dentists can see right away. She also hurt me during the checkup with the metal tooth probe by hitting it against my gums 3 separate times. It's confusing that she hurt me during a checkup and couldn't see a cavity that my other Dentist could see very easily. So I basically paid for her to hurt me several times during a simple check up and she sent me away when she could have simply filled my cavity. I will not be coming here ever again, and I can't believe this woman actually deals with teeth. (she was also very loud and every word that came out of my mouth she mimicked, making communication difficult). Horrible experience! read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They push for doing extra work that's not needed, they quote you a price for doing a basic cleaning and then charge you 5x the amount they told you and when you try and communicate they aren't helpful at all. I would rather risk my teeth falling out then go back to them. Overall, this is a great dental office. The front desk gal, Mollie, is always so kind and easy to talk to. They dont offer Netflix or any TVs while you get dental work...at least not when i was there. Not a huge deal but it just seems uncommon these days. Let me start by saying I do not like going to the dentist. I dread it. Loathe it. Riverfront dental changed that for good. From the moment you walk in you know you are someplace special. The layout and ambiance of the waiting room immediately put me at ease. I swear I felt my heart rate slow. The receptionists were friendly and check-in was a breeze. The staff communicate with each other via headsets which increases their efficiency exponentially. I have had both an initial meet and greet plus cleaning and a cavity re-fill and both experiences were 10/10. If you're anxious they have stress balls and warm blankets. Each of the hygienists I have worked with were full of positive reinforcement and oozed calm confidence. Both dentists (Dr. Hall and Dr. Kelley) I have worked with were exceptionally knowledgeable. The only reason this location gets 4 stars is due to the limited accessibility of the hygienists. Many days there is only one hygienist which makes it very difficult to get in. read more

My oral surgeon referred me to Dr Hall as I was a complicated case. I had to have implants made to replace my top four front teeth. He also crowned some additional teeth to make sure my smile was perfect (gave me the option to do this or not). My teeth look amazing! I'm 100% thrilled with the outcome. He uses the latest technology in his office. If you've ever had a crown and know you have to bite on that purple waxy paper so the dentist can make sure your bite is right. What was amazing to me is that all of my teeth and crowns were made to fit my bite perfectly. He didn't have to adjust a single tooth. Thank you Dr Hall and Alyssa for doing an amazing job! Have been a patient of Riverfront for several years. They have decided to join the #WOKE mob and if you are not masked they are not willing to provide you with their service. The staff requires you to be masked to walk down a 30' hallway where you are free to promptly take off the mask. Nothing more than projection and signaling that you are willing to comply. Ok, I've been to my share of dentists, including ritzy ones on 5th Avenue in New York growing up, and I can honestly say that Dr. Hall's office is by far the best. The team is very friendly, organized, and helpful. Dr. Hall listens to his patients and determines what needs to be done with amazing success. I had 2 issues, pretty severe sensitivity in some areas as well as a crown replacement. Dr. Hall and his team were able to fix both very very quickly. It was glorious. And Dr. Hall figured out what 3 other area dentists could not. I was able to eat ice cream without cringing for the first time in years! The office is very high-tech and comfortable, making people who are stressed by dentist visits feel more at ease. And the people are beyond great. At some point while I was in college I stopped going to the dentist and then I didn't go for so long (more than ten years) that it became a bit of a phobia. Now, I'm so glad I found these guys and keep up with a regular cleaning schedule. Everyone from Molly at the front desk to the hygienists and assistants, to Dr. Hall has been super friendly and non-judgey. Bonus that it's about a ten minute walk from my office making cleanings manageable at lunchtime. I even kind of look forward to them now. I've noted that many people think they overcharge/do too much work, but I haven't found that to be the case. I mean, I hadn't gone to a dentist in over ten years and I just needed a handful of fillings and a deep cleaning initially (both were well-deserved and I was surprised there wasn't anything worse to do). I've also been on an every-four-month cleaning schedule since my initial visit two years ago but just graduated to every-six-month cleanings! Unfortunately I have to agree with the other posters who had a poor experience at Riverfront Dental. Obviously the office itself is beautiful - state of the art equipment and prime location. It was very clean and the staff was professional. Dr. Hall met with me first and we talked about my dental history. I assured him I wasn't interested in any cosmetic work and just came for a quality checkup and cleaning. All was well thus far. After a full set of x-rays, senior picture type photos, a photo of each individual tooth, and an hour already spent, I sat down to what I hoped would finally be my cleaning. As the hygienist, who was very pleasant, was checking my teeth, she said I would have to be rescheduled for my cleaning. Literally all she said was that there wasn't enough time (at this point I had been there 1.5 hours) so I would have to be rescheduled for "a bit of a deeper cleaning." Nothing more, nothing less. Still unaware anything was off, I arrived at work and opened the fancy folder I was given by Riverfront's receptionist. That is when I saw that my next appointment for a "deep cleaning" was estimating at $150. I was confused by this since bi-annual cleanings are covered by my insurance and I hadn't even received one yet. I then saw a paper explaining I had mild periodontal disease - a condition most information says is very rare under the age of 40 (I'm 24). I didn't even know what periodontal disease was much less that I had it. I've been to the same dentist diligently all my life and never had any issues with my teeth. After talking to people about my experience, I became increasingly uneasy of my diagnosis. The paper I received explained I needed to come back for these expensive cleanings every 3 months. I then received notification from my insurance that they would not cover the cleanings and I would be paying about $300 out of pocket for each. So within a year I would be shelling out $1200 to Riverfront. Now I was very skeptical. I researched online and saw other reviewers who had similar experiences. I called to request a regular cleaning and was told I would have to sign a waiver of responsibility, and would be explained the extensive risks I undertook if I did not receive the treatment. Being the daughter of a lawyer I did not like the sound of that, so I cancelled my appointment. I saw other dentists who said the deep cleanings were unnecessary and my minor issues could be resolved with an electric toothbrush and daily flossing. One of the doctors I spoke with said he's noticed younger dentists are becoming overly aggressive and will often push unnecessary work as "prevention." But it's difficult not to feel taken advantage of when the so-called prevention requires a large sum of your own money. I'm not saying Dr. Hall was completely in the wrong to suggest the procedure, but seems a bit dishonest to not disclose that it's more for prevention then an absolute necessity. What bothers me the most is when I was in the office I received no explanation of what periodontal disease was, what my symptoms were, and why I should consider the cleaning. I merely got an informal paper at the end and had to research on my own. Hard not to wonder if the patients who aren't interested in the money-making cosmetic procedures are convinced to shell out the cash in some other way. read more

Okay, this is kind of a hard review to write because I didn't really receive the services I went in to receive. And I want to give NO stars because of that, but Yelp is making me give a star and one star is the only thing that makes sense. So, first the positives: After my visit, I got a follow-up thank-you card and a gift card for a coffee shop. The staff is *really* friendly. The receptionist is super nice. The dental assistant was SO nice and easy to talk to, and she instantly made me feel at ease. The dentist himself is REALLY nice and sat down to talk to me about my teeth-cleaning routine, my preferences, etc. They take lots of pictures and x-rays of your teeth and play whatever Pandora station you want. The office is really fancy and swanky for a dentist office. Overall, I was really impressed at the start of my visit. Then. Then I was told they couldn't clean my teeth right then because I had *blahblahblah* big dental problem and a little cavity. 'Don't worry!' they said. 'It's normal and totally fixable! It'll just take a couple of office visits.' Okay...well, it had been quite a long time since I'd had my teeth cleaned and I figured, well, whatever, maybe that's right? Maybe I have terrible horrible awful falling out teeth now that I'm in my 30s? Maybe that's just what happens? Then. They told me it would take me two more office visits and about $500 of my own money (not to mention what they would charge my insurance). To clean my teeth. To just clean them! And, I suppose, to fix that little cavity. So, I said no thank you and refused their offer of an interest-free payment plan for the services. Uh, no way am I paying $500 to have my teeth cleaned. I then went to a long-running family dentist up in Westminster. The dental assistant immediately -- before I even told her about my supposed big problems -- said that my teeth and gums were very healthy and that I had NO issues; the dentist confirmed that. I asked about the cavity; they took an x-ray and found nothing. They cleaned my teeth with no problems and sent me happily on my way. Now, I don't know what to say about my visit to Riverfront Dental Designs. I think if I had had my teeth cleaned as I expected, I would have been a super happy camper and a long-term patient. It really felt like the kind of place where you could do that. However, I was instead left with a rather bitter taste in my mouth (hardy har), and that's disappointing. Sadly this place isn't working in best interests of patients. Their MO seems to be maximizing the number of visits, not helping patients. I travel a great deal for work and making time going to the dentist is very difficult for me. I had a tooth that was bothering me and wanted a regular cleaning and help on the tooth. It wasn't to the level of emergency, but I was trying to be as proactive as possible. I had visited the dentist two times, each with them telling me that they would be perform the requested cleaning and other repair. Finally, they told me it would take them 5 visits. Beyond frustrating. By then my tooth was bothering me more and I had been to the dentist for three weeks with nothing done! It feels like a scam. I finally left their office and found a dentist down the street who was able to complete the necessary dental work for about the same price and much much quicker. I wouldn't recommend the dentist if you want to get things accomplished in a reasonable time. read more

I hate sounding like a commercial but how can you be anything but excited to tell people about your dentist when: - the office is brand spanking new with state of the art equipment - the staff is so friendly and accommodating - your teeth feel amazing when you leave (and the dentist had a light touch so you aren't sore and cranky either) - and to top it all off, I got my choice of music while I was being worked on. As much as I don't enjoy going to the dentist, I had a great experience with my first visit to Riverfront Dental this past week and actually look forward to going back. Dr. Hall and his staff were very friendly and professional. They were very accommodating to fit me in for an appointment on short notice, while working around my tight schedule. The office environment was upbeat, fun and focused on making the entire experience enjoyable - even down to the detail of giving me the option of listening to the Pandora station of my choice. I really enjoyed the conversation with Dr. Hall and Molly the hygienist. The doctor gave me some helpful suggestions on troublesome teeth that he will watch closely in the future but didn't pressure me into taking unecessary immediate action. Is it odd to say I love coming to my dentist! Dr.Hall has really built a professional and efficient business. Staff is super friendly, always remember me when I walk in. They make it super easy to book next appointments and I find the 7:30 appointment, is a huge convenience, gets me to the office by 8:30.The office is clean, modern and welcoming. I was recommend here by several of my co -workers and now half my company goes here. Parking can be a bit of a pain on Platte, try to arrive a few minutes early in case you have to circle. read more

I recently went in for 2 crowns and replacement of an old silver filling. Luckily, I didn't need the 2nd crown..which saved me a lot of money. It was a 2 1/2 hour visit, which is long, but, I was glad to get 3 teeth fixed in one visit. The office has very up to date technology. My crown was made there, which eliminated wearing a temporary and having to make another visit. The dentist and staff are very friendly and made me feel comfortable. read more

The woman at the front desk is as accommodating as a server at Fast Food. She wouldn't listen or help. Bad customer service. The Dr's maybe great but she arrogant and obnoxious and she shouldn't treat interested clients as if she owns the practice. I asked her if I could speak with someone else and she flat out told me No. If I was the owner I would never want someone who walked into my office acting so dismissive and cold. I'm new in Denver from NY and they lost a potential great customer because of her. Similar to other posters here, I was told I need an "extra cleaning", unlike the other posters here I was told that my cleaning would be approximately $600 and would not be covered by my insurance, and therefore I would be required to pay the full amount out of pocket at the time of service. Instead of being smart and seeking out a second opinion, I went forward with the "extra cleaning". They wanted me to come back in 3 mo later for a follow-up which also would not be covered by my insurance. At that point I finally decided that it probably wasn't a good idea to continue receiving care here. Fast-forward 7 mo later and I receive another bill for the service as the initial amount I paid was my "co-pay" (for the service which was apparently not covered by or billed to my insurance as expressed to me by at least 2 staff members), and that I would need to pay and additional several hundred dollars because my "co-pay" was just an "estimate" of the service that was again, apparently not going to be billed to my insurance. I don't know if its abysmal patient communication, lack of actual knowledge, or just fishy practices but I won't be returning. I've given them enough of my money. read more

This is a pure money-making enterprise with poor service. I've now gone to this dentist four times. The first was what I thought was going to be my cleaning (more on that later), the second was for my actual cleaning, and the third/fourth were for dental work. I'm very disappointed in this office. Here are my concerns: 1) Misleading initial visit: The initial visit, which I was told would be for a cleaning, was not actually a cleaning at all. Instead, they spent about an hour of my time taking pictures of my teeth. At the end of the visit, I was told it would be a 5 month wait to get a cleaning. 2) Cleaning expensive: For some reason, I was told at my cleaning that my teeth needed a more expensive cleaning. As it turns out, that more expensive cleaning was the dental hygienist going over my back two teeth twice with the same tools, rather than once. (Definitely worth an extra $100, right?) 3) Inaccurate diagnosis: At my initial visit, I was told that I needed a crown and three cavities filled. They had available appointments for that work within a month (interesting that the money-making appointments are a lot more available than the teeth cleaning appointments). My teeth didn't hurt at all, so I opted to wait on those visits until my teeth bothered me. A few months later, I went to have the dental work done. When I got there (and after the staff found out I am in a traditionally high-paying profession), one of my cavities (again, despite not hurting) supposedly needed a crown. Shocker. 4) Painful mouth guard: The office uses this strange mouth/bite guard the entire time they are doing work, and it was the most painful part of dental work I've ever experienced. 5) Billing: The office demands payment in full billing on the date of service. I know that having to deal with accounts receivable is a pain, but it is strange that they require that when every other dentist I've ever been to simply sends a bill out within the next month. 6) Unprofessional: For all of my four visits, I've had to wait between 15 and 30 minutes for my appointment to start. For one appointment, I was literally the first appointment of the day, and yet they kept me waiting for 15 minutes. Interestingly enough, the entire office was having a meeting in the front conference room, and I could hear what they were saying. It turns out that they were having some sort of office contest to see what employees could bill out the most expensive services. Someone apparently had billed out over a $1000 the previous day, and the office was very proud. If I were you, I'd look far and wide before getting any dental work done here. read more

They are very arrogant in my opinion and try to get every dime out of you. Riverfront Dental Designs were great for a while. My teeth were always super clean and the staff and Dr. Brandon were always very nice and welcoming to me. I go in every six months to get my teeth cleaned, and I pay for it out of pocket. Every time I go in they want me to do x-rays, which are expensive. Since I pay for everything out of pocket, and since I do a pretty good job of keeping my dental hygiene up, I don't think I should need to do xrays every six months. I have some pretty major health concerns about getting xrays done so often! I recently requested an appointment without xrays, and was told that they would not clean my teeth without taking xrays. This is egregious and ridiculous and a ploy to make money. I will be finding a new place to go. I'm very disappointed in their dismissive reaction to me when they found out I was not a high money maker. read more

This place is a little too cool for school. The office is cool and the freebies are nice but it is probably better suited for people who are into vanity dentistry and not for folks who are interested in general dental maintenance. I have always had issue-free dental visits in the past so I was a little surprised when at my first visit, they told me I would need another cleaning at 3 months instead of 6. Even though I knew and they acknowledged that my insurance wouldn't cover it, I went back after 3 months and was told again that I needed another 3 month cleaning. I was a little concerned and eventually heard this was their M.O. from a few other patients. It made me feel pretty uncomfortable that this seemed to be standard practice for them. In addition to that, the staff left a lot to be desired. The hygienist was a bit condescending and implied that after 35+ cavity free years, I was unaware of how to use tooth paste. Also they scheduled a first appointment with my wife at the end of the day, then chided her for scheduling it so late in the afternoon. The dentist said they wouldn't have time to see her that day even though his office offered the time and then refused to see her and expected her to reschedule. That was the last straw for me. I found a new dentist and so far, Riverfront has ignored my requests to send over my x-rays and records. Par for the course considering how we were treated by them over the course of a year. read more

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Brandon Hall and all of his staff at Riverfront Dental Designs, especially Molly! I have only been seeing them for about a year, but my experience with them has been incredible. I was very nervous about my first visit with them because it had been about three years since I had been to a dentist and I knew that I was going to need work. Dr. Hall met with me before I was taken back to the exam room and reviewed my history with me in a comfortable front office setting. Molly then did my cleaning. She put on my favorite pandora station and made the entire process very comfortable. Then came the scary part. Dr. Hall looked over my x-rays and my suspicions were confirmed I was going to need some work done which was also going to include needing to have an old root canal re-done . Needless to say I was nervous about the cost even though I had dental insurance, I knew that it wouldn't cover all of it. They worked out a payment plan for me and gave me the flowers that sit on their receptionist desk (they get flowers delivered every week and give them to a patient on Friday because they will get new ones the next week, I was the lucky one) to help me feel better. Dr. Hall did my fillings and then personally called me over the weekend because he was wanted to make sure I was doing okay because one the the fillings was pretty deep. He referred me to an amazing Endodontist who re-did my root canal and I have been problem free ever since. Dr. Hall's work has been nothing short of fantastic. Going to the dentist is no longer fear inducing and now has become a very pleasurable experience. One last thing, what really made me want to write this review is because of a phone call I just received from Molly. I have an upcoming routine cleaning this Wednesday. Molly just called to confirm my appointment and make sure that my family is okay because she remembered that I grew up in Lyons. She wanted to make sure that my family was okay and that I didn't need to reschedule my appointment because I was helping them recover from the recent flooding. I am sincerely touched that she remembered this detail about me, since I have only been seeing them for such a short period of time, and was concerned enough to get into touch with me. My family is just fine and we have been one of the very fortune ones to escape with very little damage to our personal possessions, but the town I grew up in and lived in for 18 years of my life has been destroyed. It has been a very emotional weekend for me and I am tearing up while I write this review, but to know that Molly cares enough to give me a call to check in goes beyond the call of duty. I greatly appreciate her thoughts and kind words. I will be a life long patient of Riverfront Dental Designs. I think that even if I someday move far away I will still come back to have my cleanings/dental work done by Dr. Hall and his amazing staff. read more

I was told by the front desk that I was receiving a normal teeth cleaning and it would be covered fully by insurance, however, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told that I needed to pay out of pocket for a specialized cleaning. I can honestly say I - if ever - say I like a dentist enough to recommend to people, but I have done so with Dr. Hall and crew on numerous occasions. I LOVE this office, and the staff. Going to the dentist has become not only bearable, but enjoyable (well, as enjoyable as one can hope when someone's hands are in your mouth). The location is great, office is clean, and Dr. Hall is thorough, timely (never once had a late start), and a ton of fun. HIGHLY recommend this office. read more
