Extremely Unprofessional Experience Misleading & Poor Customer Service I am writing this review because my experiences at The Food Hub located at 720 W. Highland Ave., Phoenix have been consistently disappointing and unprofessional, and management needs to be aware of what is happening at this location. Every time I come here, there is an unnecessary attitude from staff. Orders are frequently missing items, and instead of taking accountability or resolving the issue professionally, the employees immediately become defensive and rude as if the mistake is somehow the customer's or the delivery driver's fault. It is not. During my most recent visit, a Hispanic male employee was especially disrespectful. When I asked to speak with a manager regarding a missing item, he refused to get one, dismissed me entirely, and literally walked away from the counter mid-conversation. That behavior is unacceptable in any customer service setting. To make matters worse, he claimed that I "always come in with a bad attitude," which is completely false. In fact, during my previous visit, the manager acknowledged their mistake and compensated me for it, which contradicts the claim that I am the problem. So which is it? If I were truly the issue, why did management previously admit fault and correct it? This location operates in a way that feels intentionally misleading. Customers believe they are ordering from legitimate brands such as Starbucks when in reality, this is NOT a real Starbucks location. The drinks and food are being produced through this food hub, yet customers are led to believe they are receiving authentic products from the original companies. That is deceptive and unfair to customers who are paying premium prices expecting authentic items. Overall, this business lacks: * Accountability * Professional customer service * Transparency * Proper management intervention It is incredibly frustrating to feel disrespected, dismissed, and misled as a paying customer. People deserve honesty about where their food is coming from and basic respect when issues arise--especially when the mistake is not theirs. I strongly encourage ownership or upper management to step in, retrain staff, and address the misleading nature of how this location operates. Until then, I would advise customers to pay close attention to where their money is going and what they are actually receiving. This location needs serious improvement. read more

I love this concept, I saw a Tik Tok for Hecho A Mano Authentic Mexican food. On Tuesdays, they have 99 cent tacos, and they looked really good. The food hub is a collection of restaurants with different cuisines with a communal kitchen. Designed mainly for takeout, you can place an order online or inside from an order station. They do have a picnic area outside if you choose to eat there. The tacos from Hecho A Mano were delicious. I ordered 2 birria, 2 carne asada, and 2 chicken tacos at a cost of $7.34, including tax. What a deal! Can't wait to try some of the other restaurants. I think I found my new go-to takeout spot. read more

Cool concept for a communal kitchen for both on site ordering/enjoyment (at picnic tables) or delivery services. I came here to check out a friend's food from Egg Joy/Wich Witch. She clearly takes great pride and care in her ingredients, having noted an exhaustive search for the right NY rolls and it was worth it! The egg sando I had was delicious and well portioned. The house potatoes are also great! We also got to try two different French Toasts and maaaaaan. Well worth the indulgence! read more

Got lost looking for this place. Didn't realize it wasn't an actual store front for the restaurant that we were looking for. Since I didn't see a sign for it didn't realize this was the place. What a unique and cool concept never been to one of these but will in the future. The coolest part about this concept is that there's more than one restaurant in the location. We specifically went for Capriotti's. But only got there we saw how many choices we had it seems like it was close to 15 different choices. Ten of choices were open the others weren't. Because I had a hankering for Caps but next time may order something from more then one location. Now it's hard to gauge how busy they are because you don't see the kitchen like you do it Caps. I've been to Caps and when they've been busy it's taken 30 minutes. Now the only thing that I didn't love is you can't do all the same customizations on the tablet that you can at Caps. Wanted crispy cheddar onions on the Waygu Philly but didn't see anywhere to add it. Just saw they have breakfast which maybe unique to this location. The food is however the same quality as you would get from the standalone restaurant. Had a hot Bobbie cuz I love it. It's a cool concept it seems like it may be suited more for Doordashers and Uber eats but you can go there too and get food. I've been used to eating in the car during Pandemic so works just fine for me. read more

My partner and I wasted an evening here, thinking we were going to a restaurant to pick up an order we placed. We were surprised to find out that it's essentially a weird warehouse with kitchens in it and a front desk/locker system geared towards delivery drivers. We waited about half an hour, and then had to make a return trip because half of our food was missing. We waited for about another half an hour, only to get food we didn't order. I don't blame the people working here because this is a bizarre as hell setup, but good god do I hate it. Maybe it works well for delivery drivers, but I couldn't tell you, because we're just two people who were looking to swing by a place and pick up our own dinner. read more
