I asked if he could replace this drain with a brushed nickel drain, he said he would have to go buy one because he didn't have one with him. I told, just go ahead and use a chrome one then, just do what you need to do to fix the sink drain. He installed the drain. It seemed to operate okay, but after few days I noticed that the rod, used to raise and lower the drain plug, flopped all over the place, but it worked so I went ahead and used it. Then it finally stopped raising & lowering the drain plug. I'm an old man, I tried to fix it myself, but I ended up calling a different plumber.
