When we got home I checked my credit card app and saw that La Quinta charged me for the entire stay even though it was prepaid through Expedia. After calling the hotel 3 times over the past week, they still haven't reversed the charge so now I have to dispute the charge through my credit card app. Has anyone else experienced something similar with La Quinta in SLO? Seems like a sketchy way to do business and now I'm wondering if this is something that they get away with since a lot of people don't frequently check their charges to see if they've been double charged by the third party booking site and La Quinta. This was my first time and last time staying at La Quinta. I will not stay there again.

Had an issue with a black oak at my home in Cascade Shores that had 3 growth ends, one of which…read moresnapped last November in a wind storm. This huge limb (18" diameter) logged against a fir tree and a cedar tree. It levitated parallel to the ground, 30 ft. above the ground and its 2 ends were over the roof of my house. I started in April trying to get a bid on the removal of this limb. Three tree service companies never returned my call. Two other companies did come out to inspect the project. One declined the other submitted a bid then withdrew the bid when I accepted it because they were too busy. I then contacted Treesafe. The only negative was their lack of e-mail communication to my numerous e-mail questions ( I live in the Bay Area). They arrived on time with a 6 man crew, worked from 8:30 to 4:00 and did a splendid job on removing my tree issue. The crew were very pleasant and professional Thank you Treesafe for relieving a lot of stress on my part. And thanks again for reaching out to my initial contact.
