This office tried to charge me $50 for a cleaning when my insurance covered the whole thing. I ended up canceling my appointment.

I do not like going to the dentist. But everyone at Highland's Dentists made it comfortable and painless. I will return.

I haven't had issues with my teeth or had any issues with different dentists, but since I've…read morestarted seeing them I feel like I've been getting recommendations to do more work than probably is necessary since I've taken very good care of my dental health. They charged me over 500 dollars to get a mouth guard (since I grind at night which is true) that I lost shortly after getting it and tried to get them to make me a replacement immediately after I lost it at a work trip and they said it wouldn't fit and that I would need a whole new set of imprints which is incorrect. I would be skeptical of some of their recommendations. I also had a crown and it did fit correctly and they tried to fit it again and I continued to have pain with my jaw and overall the dentist didn't even come look at personally she just sent me to a specialist and said I "might" need a root canal. Now I might have a unique situation but it doesn't appear that way and this appears to be standard practice so I'll be finding a new dentist. The staff is generally friendly and the office is up to code but, at this point I don't think the dentist has done a competent job and I would not recommend them to any friends or family. Nor do they really seem like they care about the pain my teeth and jaw have been.

I had a crown this morning that was the most comfortable, relaxed, and care forward service I've ever had.. every need was met /exceeded; every comfort was provided; and Dr R's open, responsive, and clear joy in her life and work was very clear... I've been going to Highland Smiles for many years and it's been wonderful to watch the practice evolve to what it is now under Dr R's leadership.. The staff is excellent, well- trained, and caring.. I left smiling this morning after my procedure.. Thank you all so much!!

From the moment I spoke with them on setting up an appt to the moment I walked out the door after my appointment, I felt like everyone cared and really enjoyed their work and client care. It's rare that someone would say they enjoy going to the dentist but I did! Shanie was absolutely wonderful to work with and knows her stuff!! There's a reason this office has 467 reviews of an average of 4.9 stars on Google. They know what they're doing and they genuinely care about patients. Thank you!

After an exam and X-rays, I was told that the office had made a mistake, and that my insurance would not be accepted. The dentist then told me that because that was their error, I would not be charged for the services. Fast forward 6 months, I began getting bills and payment demands for the visit. I was told by the office staff that they would look into the issue, and I was never contacted again. Bills kept arriving, and I am still dealing with them. As a person is sales, it is important for me to not only clearly communicate with my customers, but to also ensure that my promises are kept. I would not recommend not because of the dentist or bedside manner, but because the office staff doesn't seem to be able to communicate, properly review and confirm insurance, and keep its promises.

Sloan's Lake is by the far best dental practice I've ever dealt with. First and foremost, they're clinically excellent. Both Dr. Pollack and Dr. Rojas have a passion for their craft and it shows in the uniformly high quality of the care they deliver. I've never had anything less than full success with any of the procedures they've performed. They're quite simply outstanding. Additionally, Dr. Pollack, Dr. Rojas, and the staff are just fantastic people. I don't know if I could ever call going to the dentist "fun" but I had as good a time as I possibly could have on each of my visits. Another way to say it would be that while it's not as fun as a Broncos game but for a dental office, it rocks. This last point may be the most important: The dentists here have a holistic approach. They're less interested in treating symptoms -- and let's face it, that's what most dentists and doctors do -- than in treating the underlying causes of ailments or better yet heading the ailments off all together. I've learned that what goes on with our teeth, jaws, and all the other stuff up there has a huge impact on our overall health. By focusing on my holistic health, Sloan Lake has vastly improved not only dental health but my health overall. Their approach is different and I'm elated with the results. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. Give them a shot, you'll be glad you did.
