This one's going to be a rough one I moved there about 3 yrs ago and the one thing that attracted…read moreme the most was its up keep and the people. The grounds are very well manicured (or at least that's the case on the surface). Once I moved in during that first year everything was very smooth, nice staff, polite people quiet neighborhood. During that second year going into the third this is when the cracks(both figuratively and literally) began to rear their heads. Let's start with the pool, during a recent summer we had random people coming over who did not live in the complex going into the pool, and they weren't just going into the pool they'd stay until well past dark blasting music and being extremely rude to the actual tenants that lived there. So it looked like after these incidents (because there were multiple) they placed cameras facing the pool, area(good). But then as of the current summer of 2026 the pool has not been open but for less than a week! An amenity we pay for! We are now entering July! This leads me into the subject about the property being surface level manicured. Within my first year of living here the weekly the hallways were cleaned as of right now in 2026 it went from weekly to now sparingly cleaned and vacuum. Let's move towards pest (yes pest) when I first moved here I wasn't under any delusions that the occasional spider would be seen but this place is infested they are in the vents, they are underneath the rugs they are even in the firer alarm systems because when you replace the batteries in them chances are they will come rushing out and or trigger the sensors on a regular basis. Their vents are old, some have moisture damage (we will come back to the moisture damage there's plenty to discuss there as well. The dust build up in the apartment no matter how hard you clean never disappears a huge part of that is the vents themselves are dusty and have decades of build up, the pipes build up lime like I have never and I mean NEVER seen. The next and most important part is the water damage it's subtle but it's everywhere and I wasn't the only tenant who experienced this wall buckling because pipes are leaking within the walls and because the walls are cheaply made they buckle from the inside and bubble outward, the walls are paper thin you can hear almost everything so no actual privacy. Then there's a matter of health issues. I spoke to several tenants who claim they got sick almost regularly while living there headaches, back aches, dizziness, waking up in sweats in the middle of the night, rapid heart beats and how we know it's the property is when you leave the property for work after an hour or two you are completely fine! It's when you come home that you begin to feel ill. This could be a heck of a coincidence but given the chalk paint they've used on the walls, the very bad carpeting that sheds and buckles because it's not adequately stapled to the floor properly, the spider infestation, the squirrel infestation yes we had squirrels roaming into the walls last year. The water itself being hard, the water damage within the walls my bet is there's quite a bit of mold and bacteria through out the apartments. The last thing I will focus on is the gym, that gym is the saddest thing I've ever seen in an apartment complex the machines are beyond out of date, broken, parts missing and dark and just not very clean as well, spiders again everywhere. Would i recommend this place to work colleagues, friends or family absolutely not. While the outside and the people are great that's where it ends and it's a shame because it was not like that the first year of living at Remington was there imperfections yes no place is perfect but there's a noticeable decline both in the maintenance and as I said I have real concerns when it comes to health code issues because I was constantly sick there and when I moved into another place literally all of my symptoms went away the random waking up in the morning with bug bites gone and stopped so take that for what you will.

I have lived in these apartments for the past 3 and a half years and I've never had any major…read moreissues with the apartments (I've lived in both a one bed and a two bed) or the staff. There are some good things and some bad things. The apartments look really nice and are very open, with lots of natural lighting. If ever there was maintenance needed, it was done in a timely manner (within a week), and I was always given plenty of notice (both emails and text messages) prior to anyone entering my apartment. The complex will allow you to break your lease, but like everywhere else, you will need to pay a fee. You will also need to pay a fee when you move out if you break anything. If you have neighbors that smoke (cigarettes or marijuana), you will be able to smell it in the hallways. This is pretty typical for most apartment complexes. The gym is absolute crap and desperately needs to be updated. The some of the buildings are a bit drafty by the windows, and could benefit from being renovated. Over all condition is well insulated, though. If you have issues with your neighbors, try to handle it yourself as the staff can only do so much if a) you have no proof that your neighbors are doing anything wrong and b) if they aren't doing anything that is specifically against the rules for the complex. The rent for these apartments can be a little pricey for what is offered. Overall, I have no problem with with recommending this place to anyone. I personally feel that you need to be realistic when looking for apartments, and understanding that everywhere you go is going to have its issues. So far, this has been my best experience with living in apartments. The main reason for the 4 start rating instead of a 5 star, is that there are renovations that are needed.

They don't keep up on the grass or lawn service. Upon moving in, I found that there were multiple beer cans left in our kitchen drawers, and behind the UNFINISHED cabinet. I reported this to the property manager only to hear "we hire independent contractors, theres nothing we can do" Uhm what?! Make sure your freaking team isn't drinking on the job!!! Second, almost nothing is communicated to residents. I lived there from June 2021- June 2022. After moving out, I discovered that the property has held multiple events in the clubhouse, that were never mentioned in emails for residents- only posted on instagram. Why aren't all residents included in these "resident events"? Second- no communication to us when we were moving out. Just "drop the keys off this day, this time, thanks" AND I had to call them to get that info, they did not reach out to me. I'm not sure if all apartments are like that but it seemed pretty unprofessional to me. Also! Big break in problem.... Other residents have actually been broken into but for me, I was approached by a young man while getting my mail. He explained that he just moved in, next day I get a call from the property manager saying this man was saying he stays with me, but doesn't know my name. I advised I never met this man before yesterday, all he did was approach me one time. But he did watch me walk back into my apartment. I hoped they would call the police and kick him out, but I saw him wandering the property days after that. All in all, The Romeoville Seasons is like any other development... run by an unresponsive group of people that don't really care how you're living.

PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON GOOGLE REVIEWS!!! I'VE UPLOADED THE SAME REVIEW BELOW AND IT'S NOT ON…read moreGOOGLE'S WEBSITE. THEY PURPOSEFULLY DO NOT INCLUDE SOME NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND THAT'S WHAT TRAPPED ME. YOU WANT THE TRUTH?? HERE IT IS: Short story: Place allows loud noise, cigarette smoking, stalking & harassment, and trash remnants every now and again. Cops are here more times than they should be. People park in no-park zones. The buildings are cheaply made and rent is too high, so you think you're moving in a nice place but it's a venus fly trap. Can smell and hear EVERYTHING in other apartments (footsteps, tv, water running, music, arguments, cooking, animals, you name it). Management sends Opiniion links to get reviews, but the website is made to only "promote the good reviews." They don't recycle, and you have to drag your trash to one dumpster (good luck if you have an arm or leg surgery). Basically, it's a polished turd of a place. THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CLEAR OUT THE SNOW AROUND PARKING SPACES AND MAIN ROADS OF THE APARTMENT. Long, very long (personal) story: The second night I moved in, there was a booming loud noise coming from one of the apartments. It was disturbingly loud and went on past midnight. I emailed the office, and they responded the next day by saying that if it happens again, someone needs to come 'confirm' the noise is actually happening. TF?!! Not only that, if it's after hours, there's a specific number to call for noise complaints. So, in other words, you have to call maintenance guys (complete strangers if you've just moved in) to come and inspect if a noise is happening. If (and that's a big 'if') they hear a noise, they may knock on the door or call the police if its something they think they're not able to handle. I have had to call the police twice on ONE neighbor because they have been and continue to stalk and harass me. I've complained so much that I stopped because 1) the noise was not "confimed" by maintenance some of the time 2) even if the noise was confirmed, nothing was done but a note on the person's door, which did not and has not stopped the noise and harassment 3) every time I sent an email to the main office about a neighbor, they pushed me away to this specific number for noise complaints (even during regular office hours). The maintenance men have mentioned themselves that they do not like taking on a security role, and I don't blame them. Putting maintenance men in possible harm's way is awful. There are multiple cigarette smokers here and you can smell it in your apartment, even with all the doors and windows shut. Wakes me up early when they're smoking because it seeps into my room, makes me cough and gag during the evening and night times. Forget about going on the patio to enjoy fresh air in the warmer months. I've gotten an air filter, I've lit candles and incense like clock work, and I go through air freshners like I go through toilet paper. The smell still lingers and there's nothing I can do about it. My major concern is the fire hazard, esp if the smokers aren't emptying their trays. You'll see cigarette butts all over the property. This building's cheap material could probably go up in flames easily. I've been stalked and harassed by a crazy neighbor for the four months I've been living here and nothing has been done. I moved out here specifically to get away from a previous stalking situation that created PTSD, which I mentioned to one of the apartment representatives while I was viewing the apartment (would have been a good time to mention to me about the thin walls). Still dealing with this issue and can't do anything about it but take notes from my therapist. So if you're still reading this and have mental health issues, don't even THINK about coming here. Crazy people live here and you'll be stuck. Cops have showed up when an item was taken from my apartment (frantically called the front office when it happened and the manager haphazardly told me to call the police) but no justice for me unfortunately. I've seen all kinds of trash in the stairwell and outside. I appreciate the maintenance men for helping the place look neat but dirty people are dirty people. With all the noise and cops and other issues that take place, the apartment manager only sends out emails to all the residents to clean up after their dog or not to park in the no-park zones. People still do do.

The pool area is nice, although frequently crowded with both people who live there and guests. The complex is very accomodating to pets, and even hosted a doggy pool day when the pool was being winterized last fall. Overall the rent may be a little higher than I'd like, but the complex feels welcoming. Pros: - Fitness center and clubhouse were recently renovated and the fitness center is nice and diverse enough to fully work out in. (For basic exercise.) - Dog park is big enough to allow your dog to run around in and only rarely occupied. - Staff quick to respond to messages / concerns or requests. Cons: - 1 Garbage / 1 Recycling Receptacle for the entire complex. Trash piles frequently and is an eyesore / smell when taking trash out. Also, if you live on the other side you have to bring your trash over which I'm sure is annoying. - Snow removal in the winter can be slow, and lead to some slippery conditions if you are needing to move about in the early morning. - Frequent issues with the gate. Either call in code doesn't connect, or the gate is down for maintenance and the complex is left open for days at a time.
