Excellent service free car wash with oil change and use of vacuum cleaner and cleaning product, plus rags

I was vacuuming my vehicle with my dog inside. The dog jumped up on the door and locked me out. The keys and my phones were locked inside also. I informed the staff and asked for help. Christian used his equipment to unlock the door. I was overjoyed when he was able to finish by the time the Police came. I'm one of those people that have the most unbelievable problems. I went to Highway 5 Auto Care due to a recommendation from a helpful Jiffy Lube associate, after being quoted expensive pricing for a conventional oil change at three other places. I was WAY overdue for an oil change.This location is on GA 5 near the Red Lobster. They had a sign outside the door that listed the prices for oil changes and their most expensive option with tax was still less than what the gentlemen at Napa Auto care quoted me pretax. The customer service was great. They had a seating area with AC and comfy chairs. The bathroom was clean. The lady that answered the phone for me when I inquired confirmed my pricing in person and they got me in and out within less than fifteen minutes. In addition to the oil change, they included a free AWESOME wash with free vacuums, towels & window cleaner to be used on site. The free wash can be used up to 6 days after your service, if you're in a hurry. I spent a good 45 min vacuuming and cleaning out my car thanks to my preschooler. The Awesome wash is basic but did a great job. Another nice lady even towel-dried my car after. I was SO impressed. I told my dad and my husband. I will be returning for more oil changes and emissions too. You can't beat the value. (See my receipt). On my next fill up for gas, I realized that my gas was sticking better too. If you're in the area, give them a shot for your oil changes or car wash. My car needed the TLC. read more

I have the monthly car wash service and I truly was going to cancel it today bc I don't use it as much...well....I went today for my last wash before I canceled and they had glass cleaner and car freshener now. Arrived 25 minutes before posted closing time, was told that they actually close 30 minutes before actual closing time. Caught completely off guard. Being a VIP card member was of no consequence. Frequenting this establishment is seriously in question moving forward. read more

I got the $6.95 wash for my small truck after eating at a very good seafood restaurant next door. I don't know what they did, but my super dull aluminum wheels came out shinier than I had ever seen them. After my NEXT visit to that restaurant, I will be back! read more

Customer service was horrible. Employees very upset when I wouldn't take their up-sell. They up sell EVERYONE! You will never get out of there without a flush/filter/belt or part needing to be fixed. I was very disappointed in the service at this place. I've driven past them for a couple of months, noticed a special for a $19.99 Oil change on Wednesdays. I asked if they topped the fluids before the oil change and was told they do that automatically. After paying for and getting the oil change I opened up the hood and found it dry in both the antifreeze and windshield wiper section. I asked anther male customer to look and tell me if he was seeing the same thing I was seeing. He said, no, they could not have topped off anything it is dry. When I brought it to the technicians attention. He still insisted it was done. Yet I watched them do the oil change and they didn't do it. Finally the tech added plain water to my windshield wiper section accompanied with an attitude. I said, this is plain water- he said, no it's just clear windshield washer fluid. I complained to the other tech on duty to no avail.-- They were "Bill" and "Jason" I will say that the car wash cost is inexpensive and the wash is good, but they have lost my trust as far as handling any more oil changes or services to my car. Customer service is not good or pleasant and you have to feel like you can trust the technician when you turn your car over to them- If they blatantly LIE about something as minor as topping off fluids, what else will they lie about? If the OWNER cared about his business or was serious about good customer service, he would have his phone number posted so that dissatisfied customers could call hm and let him know what is going on. That would keep his technicians in check, but if finding the owner is too difficult, then people are resigned to YELP to let him know what is going on in his absence. read more

I have been to this location several times to get my vehicle washed. I signed up for the "membership", and my first car wash was was complimentary. I've been back several times, and have been more than pleased with the level of customer service and the detail that was placed into getting my vehicle clean. I highly recommend them, and look forward to my next service. read more

Received emissions test here. They charge $15.99 for an emissions test. The Emissions inspector is very nice and has great customer service. The Manager is very nice as well. The car wash staff was courtoues and made sure my dad's truck did not have water stains by carefully wiping down the truck. If you need an emissions test this is a great place to go. read more

What kind of business tells a customer that the manager will be by to look at the customers car after the engine blows but never shows up? Then when customer goes to shop is told that manager is off today. Asks for the owners info and is told to leave before they call the police. Obviously they don't care. And to make matters worse, said customer is 7 months pregnant. What a disgraceful business.. read more

I had my car towed there after it stopped working. After about a month and over $400 later, my car still was not fixed and the mechanic refused to fix the real problem. The management is non-existent. The staff would not give me information to reach the owner. Horrible experience. RUN the other way. read more

I first came to Hwy 5 maybe 2 years ago. I immediately found the staff and especially the lead mechanic Chris to be extremely knowledgeable, thorough and trust worthy. Chris actually takes the time to explain and show me the ins and outs of how everything works (and is extremely patients as I ask a lot of questions =) ).... Which especially as a woman is very important to me. I've never received anything but excellent service from them... and while noone is ever 100 percent perfect, they have shown to have integrity by always being willing to stand by their work without question. Which brings a further sense of security. After many bad experiences with other mechanics and even though my husband works at a dealership with an onsite mechanic which I have free access to, Hwy Five is the ONLY folks I allow to touch my car. If you can imagine it's a point of contention at home lol. And it's not only me, while I wait for my car I meet many other customers that feel the same. I've read some of the poor reviews on line and as a business professional and a consumer expert who DEMANDS good service I know that people are at least three times more likely to complain than take the time to give a compliment. We are in the business age of service and that's just what we expect. The chore of having your car serviced/repaired is never a fun thing, so I can see how folks can be frustrated from the moment they open the door with this type of business. But the facility is comfortable and people are very nice and it helps you get through the time... and the service is great, so that's all you can hope/ask for. Also, I agree with one of the reviews earlier, I figured I'd treat my old car to the car wash with the most options last week and I honestly was amazed at how shiny everything was. My 1997 Altima looked shinner than new clean cars parked next to it. My daughter took our car to this establishment on May 10, 2017 to get an oil change like she has several times in the past. They pulled her car in to change the oil and then she had a free car wash with the oil change so they proceeded with the car wash and then she vacuumed the vehicle and left. As soon as she left she called me and said my car isn't acting right now, it don't want to go. I told her to see if she could make it to my place of business so I could have one of my employees drive it to see if he could tell what was wrong. I am in Austell, so luckily she did make it here but we weren't able to drive it to see what was wrong. One of my employees got under the car to see if he could tell what was going on and the transmission fluid had been drained from the vehicle. We immediately took over to Auto Nation Nissan to have them check it out and tell us their findings. We were told by the service advisor that the transmission seal was broken, like we had discovered and the fluids drained. He said the oil was overfilled. So obviously this had to take place at Hwy 5 Car Care considering the car was fine before she took it there. We let them know immediately that there was a problem. Once we got in touch with the Manager, Jerry he told me to meet him on Friday the 19th of May and we would go over everything and get it taken care of. I have a bill for $444.90 that I paid out of pocket for a mistake that was made on their part. He said his tech's are very honest and would tell him if they did this. He did not accept responsibility for what was done. I told him I would need the owners name because this in not acceptable and he said he was not at liberty to give me that information. So I emailed the company on Friday from their website and have yet to hear back from the owner. This is very poor business practice and I own a small business myself. Everyone makes mistakes, myself included, but you have to take responsibility for those mistakes. I am very disappointed in how this was handled and will pursue Hwy 5 Car Care Inc. in small claims court to recoup the fees I had to pay to fix their mistake. I will now no longer use them for any type of service and would shout from the rooftops to encourage anyone who goes there to think again. We used their service for over 2 years with no problems but if this is how they handle mistakes made on their part , I would discourage anyone doing business there. This could have been much worse, the transmission could have been destroyed. We really don't know the future effects this may have. read more

this is a positive negative review. 1st I've used this location for oil changes for awhile and have always been pleased. usually quick service and good car wash to go with it all at a reasonable price. but I purchased what I thought was a month of car washing service that I thought was just a month but turned out to be auto renewal on credit card. usually I scrutinize what I sign but failed to do so this time, I signed up while sitting in car and didn't receive a copy of the receipt so it didn't scrutinized later. several months later I realized I'd been paying for services I was not taking advantage of (my fault). Here's the problem, after realizing my mistake I went to cancel account and the General Manager said he'd credit my card back for the last month charged being I discovered the auto renewal on the day it was posted. 11 days later and no credit back to charge account. don't know if i've stumbled into a magazine subscription type renewal tha'ts nearly impossible to cancel or not, time will tell. read more

Worst customer service experience ever! I would not recommend ANYONE use their services. I went today to get an oil change. I asked the tech specific questions including how much price would be. The tech ask his boss the price and it was quoted to me before I got the service done. Once I got the service, they switched the price when I went to pay. I explained that I was told a different price. The boss denied that. I asked him to speak with his tech. The tech now denied he told me that price. I heard and saw the boss tell him what the price would be. I can't believe that in today's society, people are still doing bait and switch! Instead of trying to work with me, they decided to hold my car hostage! the female manager yell at me, threw my card and said I was going to hell! I didn't know they oil change places decided my fate. Best advice...stay away!!! read more
