One week later, we left for that road trip and almost immediately received a low-pressure notification from the vehicle. We turned around, went back home, and found oil all over our driveway. We are now sitting at a Firestone waiting for them to fix a leak at the oil drain plug that was completely ignored by your technicians. Furthermore, the only oil they found in the vehicle seems like old oil that was never changed in the first place. This is completely unacceptable. We did exactly what responsible customers are supposed to do. We brought the vehicle in before a road trip, clearly explained the situation, and trusted your staff to do the job properly. Instead, we are dealing with a potentially serious issue, a ruined travel day, oil on our driveway, and the added time and expense of having another shop inspect your work. You have lost us as customers permanently. I also want to be very clear that I intend to make sure people know exactly what happened at this location. I will be sharing this experience honestly and publicly because I do not believe people should trust a shop that sends a customer out the door after an oil change and "road trip check," only for that customer to find oil leaking all over their driveway a week later. This was careless, unacceptable, and completely destroyed our trust in your business.

My husband did some research, called around and we took the vehicle to Christian Brothers Westchase (Tampa, FL). Turns out the water pump, which is built into the engine in this vehicle, so the labor costs are astronomical. The Flex was sitting at 141,000 miles so my husband decided to ask Christian Brothers Westchase to handle the 150,000 mile maintenance. All the parts would not arrive in time so we left the vehicle in Tampa and drove home my mom's vehicle instead. My parents had plans to drive through Atlanta a couple weeks later and could trade out vehicles at that time. When the Flex returned back to Marietta it didn't sound the same to me, the primary driver. As a busy working wife and mom to three, although it sounded noisier the vehicle was running fine so I didn't make it a priority to get it checked out. After school released, we drove to Orlando in early June 2021 (less than two months later) and the Flex started driving funny. Next think I know we're stranded on Western Way (behind Animal Kingdom) with my three kids and parents at 8pm on a Sunday night. An Uber delivered my mom and kids to our resort while my dad and I waited for a tow. We paid extra to get the Flex to Christian Brothers Clermont since that was the company who most recently did previous work. I was told this time it was a failed fuel valve (evap purge valve). Again, I drove another vehicle back to Marietta. I spoke with someone and described the louder than previously normal engine noises so it could be addressed before pick up and was told it didn't sound like anything was wrong. I drove roundtrip from Marietta to Clermont and back all in one day to return the borrowed vehicle and pick up my Flex. It still sounded loud to me but again was back to driving fine otherwise. All this time, since before April, the check engine light on the Flex would come on and go off randomly. The shops would clear the code when it was in, and it would eventually go off...then come back on. Needing to get emissions checked on the Flex, about mid-summer, I drove by Christian Brothers Acworth and they ran the code. This time I was told it was a catalytic converter, this was surprising since one was replaced in 2018 and one in 2019. We took it to the shop that did the work in 2019 to get the catalytic converter replaced. This did not solve the check engine light problem. I reached back out to Christian Brothers Westchase wanting them to take a look at the Flex again, to see what was causing the noise and check engine light. I offered to drive back to Tampa since my kids were still on summer break. I was instructed to visit the closest Christian Brothers location to our home, which happens to be the Smyrna location. Christian Brothers Smyrna got off to a rocky start. Trying to schedule Flex drop off was complicated, my husband and I had to juggle our work schedules to live with one vehicle. The Flex was at the shop for three days, when we thought work was getting done, but then were told the technician got covid and had been out for the week. The second time the Flex was at the shop for three days, they insisted other work needed to be done. My husband approved the additional work but then we were not charged when that work did not fix our problems. Trying to schedule for the Flex to return to CBS, I had reached my wit's end while on a phone call with Stephen at CBS and he offered me a rental. The plan was for Christian Brothers Smyrna to re-do the entire timing chain job that was previously done by Christian Brothers Westchase in April, at no cost to us. The Flex stayed with Christian Brothers Smyrna for over two weeks. In the mix of the timing chain job, we were informed the second catalytic converter was bad. Over the months, we learned that the catalytic converters would fail over time if the timing chain was not on correctly...and I was also told a bad timing chain job would cause the fuel valve to fail (our June issue). CBS also replaced the catalytic converter at no additional labor cost to us. Since each Christian Brothers location in independently owned, the Smyrna location tried to work with Westchase to split parts and labor expenses (since the initial fault falls on the bad timing chain job done by Westchase) and continued to express disappointment in working with their sister store. The Flex problems caused much stress and headaches over the months, we're so happy to be done. Stephen and his team at Christian Brothers Smyrna definitely went above and beyond to right the problems for us. I cannot recall their names now, but the sweet woman who always answers the phones and another gentleman who works in the front office were always so kind and helpful even though I'm sure they wanted to run for the hills every time they saw me. We appreciate Christian Brothers Smyrna for the dedication they have to their clients.

I had visited one of the Precision Tunes on 1204 Veterans Memorial Hwy SW. I visited the location for an Oil Change and Engine Flush. Within a couple of days heard a different noise coming from the engine. Went back to the location to find out why. Manager was nice, looked at the vehicle and stated that it was nothing wrong I left and went home. The noise got louder so I called the store back again. and spoke to the manager and he still was very polite and told me that I needed to speak with the Owner/General Manager Eva, but did ask what I was looking to gain out of this. I responded nothing just want to know what was going on with my truck and if it could be fixed. I then called the location 3700 Austell Rd. Marieta GA 30008 and spoke with Eva the store Manager and Owner about my problem and she requested that I bring my car to her in which I had it towed to the location. Eva and I talked about the problems with my car and said that she would contact the store and ask me if I could wait for her to get back to me, I replied yes. Upon her investigation with the first location Eva called me back and stated that she looked at the truck and spoken with the manager and looking at the information stated that it was nothing she could do, and I replied fine I will be there to get my truck. Upon arriving to the shop by Uber I went in with my partner on the phone on speaker just in case and asked to get my truck which Eva still had on the lift in the bay, and I asked for my keys and if she could get my truck down speaking very calmly. Eva stated that she wanted to show me why she would not take any responsibility for the damages to my truck. In which I stated no need if you are not going to fix it then no need to discuss it just would like to leave. She then proceeded to tell me that I was going to listen putting her finger and telling me that I was going to listen. Eva refused to give me my truck after asking if I had owed any money or if the truck was disabled. Eva responded no I am just not giving it to you until you listen. I had to call the policy to come and make this lady release my vehicle to me and that to was a struggle. Eva finally gave me my truck after writing up a bogus invoice stating that I refused services and threw that paperwork at me which the Police Officer requested her to put in my hand and I just picked it up and left. Upon taking my truck to multiple location and getting the Carfax reports that the information that was entered in by Precision tune was incorrect and showed 2 different oil changes within 5 days of the original date in question for the problems mentioned. Also letting me know that the problem steamed from Precision Tune. Eva was also informed by some of the other mechanic shops that she may want to look at this a little closer in. I had my truck repaired through my warranty that I had on my vehicle the whole time so the statement that Eva made stating the we people are always trying to get free money was not true. I have also tried to contact the precision Tune Corporate Office on multiple attempts, and no one reached out. I never had someone display such entitlement as a business and rudeness like this. I would have thought that The Corporate office would have at least called back to see what the issue was. I will never use this company again if they promote racism and out right rudeness shown from a fellow partner.

I was told the car was ready, but after driving it, I immediately realized it was still having the exact same issue. Nothing had been properly resolved. When I contacted them, I was told to bring it back on Monday four days after my initial service and even after returning it, the problem still was not fixed. To make matters worse, when I attempted to take my car elsewhere for a second opinion, the mechanic discovered the tire bolts had been damaged, making them extremely difficult to remove. We brought it back and asked them to address the issue, and they refused. The lack of accountability, incomplete repairs, and poor customer service throughout this process have been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After spending over $2,000, I expected my car to be properly repaired not returned in worse condition. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience. I will not be returning. 0/10 don't recommend. What a rip off!

As a regular customer who values your service, I was shocked by the unprofessional behavior displayed by the new manager. I had called ahead to schedule an oil change. Upon arrival, I was informed that the price had increased significantly. When I inquired about the cause, I was told it was due to the high cost of a specific filter, which they claimed to be out of stock for. As I happened to have the correct filter in my vehicle, I offered it to them to facilitate the service at a reasonable price point. While the service was underway, I went inside to finalize the payment. It was at this point that the manager, became confrontational. He stated that the shop would not match prices and explicitly told me that they would not accommodate such a request again. When I calmly expressed that I would not be returning to this location due to the rudeness of his communication, his demeanor escalated. He became extremely hostile, instructed the technician to immediately pull my vehicle out of the bay, and told me that he did not want my business. I have been a loyal customer, and this is not the level of service I expect from the Meineke brand. I am bringing this to your attention because I believe it is important for both the owner, and corporate management to know how this manager is treating long-standing customers. I hope you will take appropriate action to address this behavior.

There was a bit of a wait, but that wasn't an issue for me; however, if you are in a hurry, this may not be the place for you. When it was my turn, I asked the differences between the $30 and $35 car wash. I was told the $35 car wash included a wax seal on the exterior of the car and the $30 car wash did not include a wax seal but included the cleaning of my tires, exterior and interior. So I opted for the $30 car because that was all I needed. After your car is washed, you go to an attendant to get your exterior and interior cleaned (tires wiped, car wiped in the inside and outside, and vacuum). I waited for them to finish cleaning and I went inside to pay. The interior of the building is due for a makeover. The snack machine is empty, water didn't look clean and seating was limited. As I went to pay, I asked if they had Apple Pay. They stated they only take card or cash. Unfortunately, I had neither and wasn't told this in the beginning. Most businesses these days have Apple Pay. The reason for the two stars are because the ladies allowed me to run to get cash and come back and pay. I didn't mind doing that and kept my promise. However, once my car was done being "cleaned" I realized it didn't look like anything had been done to it. Trash was still visible, dirt on the inside by the gas pedal and brake area, and tires were still dirty. When I came back to pay, I mentioned it to a young lady and she was willing to vacuum the inside and clean the tires. She did a decent job and I was appreciative of her willingness to help but it still wasn't to my level of satisfaction. I also asked if the mats would be wiped and told it would be $2 per mat. This was interesting because most car washes would include this along with the interior cleaning. Nonetheless, I paid it but it was still very odd to me. After it was all said and done, I had spent about 2-3 hours dealing with the whole fiasco of getting my car washed, obtaining cash, and waiting for my car to be cleaned a second time, only to get home and spend another hour cleaning my tires and the interior of my car (and my car is not at all extremely dirty). Overall, this experience left a bad impression on me and for those reasons, I would not recommend this place nor return!
