Brought my vehicle in to replace my old starter with a new one…read more After having issues w my starter I assumed I had one that wasn't good for much longer. I decided to call Honda and they gave me a quote of close to $900. After doing research I learned that the part was way more affordable ordering online so I did that. I called a few shops who were not willing to install the part. After calling Americas auto center, I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. They replaced the part and found my starter was still good. They found the issue to be a bad connection which they fixed at no additional cost to their already great price quoted. They were honest and fixed the issue. I am grateful for mechanics that don't take advantage of their customers. I would gladly bring my car back for future service needs. Mario's Auto Repair…read more TLDR - Quality work, fair price, fast service, great people. Highly recommend. I found Mario's because the Ford Service Department told me it would take 6+ weeks to make a diagnostic appointment and they'd need my vehicle for 5 days to do a diagnostic. Just a diagnostic. And then it's another 6-8 weeks to schedule the actual work, and who knows how long I'd be without a vehicle for that. No shade to those fine people. They're doing the best they can with the constraints of the system they're working in. I've been driving Fords for years and always had great experiences with the service departments. But it's reached a point where you have to wait months (diagnostics + repair) to get a simple thing done. So I took a risk and I tried something new. Enter Mario's. I called them yesterday and they said to swing by the next morning. I had a diagnostic with an estimate in less than an hour. They went ahead and did the repair and removed and replaced the serpentine belt tensioner, idler pulley, and both belts by lunch time. I know there are a lot of quality, hard working, reliable and honest mechanics in the community but you never know what you're gonna get sometimes when you try a new shop. Capitol Ford can get you settled by Thanksgiving. Mario's gets the job done before happy hour. Easy choice.
