The food wasn't good. I got a combo meal with beef and shrimp. They didn't give me any teriyaki sauce. Beef was poor quality, and lots a little pieces that tasted like they've been on the grill a long time and the shrimp was very dry. Quantity of the beef was very small as well. The salad was in a tiny container when I opened it a bunch stuck to the top of the container and fell out because the dressing was only on the top of the salad. They advertise egg flour soup free with the meal so when I asked where a egg flower soup was, he pointed into a big container by the water area and there was only cups so I asked where the bowl was and he said I had to use a cup. Chipotle burritos might be calling if i'm thinking about comparing value. We got 3 spicy burritos, one per person. One of them was perfect, the sauce was present and evenly spread. The other two, however, lacked sauce. They had little highlights with dabbles of sauce, but other than that tasted and looked like fried rice wrapped in a tortilla. Consistency was questionable and disappointing. Being given a side of sauce to personally dip or use would be nice in scenarios like this. It is a nostalgic location and potentially a one time problem, but having not been in a while, was not the best experience. That being said, I think trying a teriyaki burrito is an experience everyone deserves as it is a beautiful blend when done right. Toy cars hanging from the ceiling, license plates on the walls, dozens of dirty hand prints all over the windows and piles of dirty dishes and handwritten signs stuck by the menu really stuck in my brain. Even though I dined there, my food was put in to go cartons and I saw that the same occurred with everyone else staying there. Then I saw a sign that they were hiring for a dishwasher. The chicken teriyaki that I ordered was missing the salad but I didn't bother saying anything because the gal working the counter looked really overwhelmed taking orders and passing out food.
