This place might not catch your eye at first, but it's completely worth your while. I've been coming to Manna's for almost 15 years now- they recently changed their interior and it looks amazing. I walked past the other day thinking it was a different restaurant but in reality it's just a new and improved Manna's! The menu is luckily still the same, as well as the service. Hera, the lady who's been taking our order for years is the nicest woman. She's so accommodating and brings the funniest energy to the restaurant! She always makes us laugh. The katsu was fresh and perfectly crispy, which I really enjoyed. It was a little bland for my personal taste, and I do wish the portion came with more rice. Manna is a great teriyaki place. It is right near Fred Meyers. I ordered it online and picked it up (it was ready). The interior is much nicer than many teriyaki restaurants I had the large chicken teriyaki. This is a lot of food. They had the typical salad which was pretty nice. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not too dry and it came with a generous portion of rice. Definitely worth a visit. read more

As others have indicated it appears this place is under new ownership, something I wasn't aware of when I placed my online order. Manna Teriyaki was my family's go to Teriyaki place for years. Hands down the best place to go north of Seattle. However sadly, actually very sadly that is no longer the case. The recipes, ingredients and cooking techniques changed. The orange chicken, and Mongolian Beef (my typical go to for this place) is no longer the same. Replaced is less flavorful bland versions of their former self. What is now presented is a typical run of the mill standard Teriyaki dish's that you can find almost anywhere including Safeway. Mind you, it's not bad, but it's not great either. I hope the new owners take advice (if they can) and bring back the dish's and recipes that made Manna Teriyaki amazing. Until that happens, for this customer at least will be on the search for my next go to Teriyaki place. read more

Looks like this might be under new ownership. We ordered Shrimp Yakisoba and Spicy Chicken. The shrimp was dry and overcooked the noodles were over cooked, hard and super salty. Do NOT sleep on Manna Teriyaki! I was almost dissuaded from going there based on other Yelp reviews that said the prices were too high. BUT, for $13, I got a MASSIVE serving of Chicken Teriyaki and a fountain Diet Coke, and it also came with a cup of really tasty Miso soup. Their salad dressing is SO good. I do wish they would have served it on reusable dishes since I was dining in, but my guess is that they knew I couldn't eat it all and were just saving themselves a step. Silverlake area. Yup, it's nowhere near me in North Creek but I'm still including my area in its area because our teriyaki restaurants in comparison are garbage. Honestly, I could eat their basic teriyaki chicken with rice at least once a week until the end of time and never get tired of it. It's always delicious, it's always exactly what you expect. It's never over cooked or fatty or otherwise gross. (I've been served that overcooked, fatty, ugh can't eat this garbage from other local teriyaki restaurants). And. People. You get what you pay for. We have been regulars at Manna since 2000 and always loved the food. My kiddo in particular LIVES for the gyoza. We've been temporarily out of the area for a few months and were excited when we had the chance to grab some Manna.. only to be COMPLETELY disappointed. Gone is the miso with the meal and the worst part.. No sauce with the gyoza other than soy!! Not to mention the cashew chicken is totally lacking the flavor that made it so craveable. If the new owners are interested in maintaining a thriving business of over 20 years, they need to rethink what they are gaining from altering the recipes we have all grown to love. I've eaten here since heart surgery 2017. The ominous smell as soon as you open the door. The second thing was my credit card didn't i was in hurry so I walked out and back. I finally ordered and paid. I waited longer than usual when I got the car I swear the smell. Got home ate a small portion I do not like bashing a restaurant but I felt nauseous maybe 10 minutes later. My co-workers say the odor was spoiled food. I usually don't like to share my favorite teriyaki spots because then they get to popular and busy but I think this little gem of a spot has already been exposed. I order my food for pickup so my interaction with the staff is limited, but pleasant. I almost always order the spicy chicken teriyaki, and two things that stand out to me most are the portions and the quality of the chicken, also there is enough food in the togo box for 2 people and I am okay with that. Meal comes with miso soup and a small salad, even for togo orders! I would have attached a picture but I inhaled my food before I could snap a photo. My husband and I have been going to Manna for more than 15 years and we have been ordering the chicken/pork teriyaki along with the gyoza and vegetable plate. The teriyaki and the gyoza was still pretty good but the vegetable stir fry (ordered because the vegetable plate was no longer offered) was absolutely the worse I have ever tasted. And to think I paid 16.99 for that item is not worth it. Also, they no longer have the miso soup that came along with the lunch. I did find online that this place was sold back in May to GOLDEN HOUR FOOD LLC so it was no wonder the menu and food has changed along with the increased prices. We may go back just for the teriyaki but there are other places around that we may have to look into. read more

We've been coming here for years, since I was little and the regular chicken teriyaki was only $4.95. Times have changed, as have the prices, but thankfully the food has not. I'm a huge fan of the large spicy chicken teriyaki which gives you enough for two days or one huge dinner. Knocking off one star since their prices have crept up to other local restaurants which may give you a better meal for the price, but you probably won't get the same amount nor the convenience. Very sad to walk into the store today to find that they are under new management:( They said that they are still using the same recipes as before, so I got my usual, chicken fried rice, but it was definitely NOT the same. They also took away the bubble tea as well, even though they still advertise it in the window of the store. Be aware, new ownership!! Prices have gone up and portions have gone down in size! The soup is no longer included and we were only given one salad with the purchase of two entrees. We were informed that the teriyaki chicken is now saucier, so there is no need for additional teriyaki sauce, but our chicken was bone dry with no excess sauce. The family sold the restaurant and the food is now more expensive, you have to pay for the miso, no more fortune cookie or teriyaki sauce put in the bag, the salad dressing is not the normal recipe you can tell it is poured from a bottle.
