This place used to be much better. Today, all the food were blend. I ordered Mandarin Chicken, Egg Roll, Fried Rice, Hot & Sour soup (Lunch Special). The food had no flavor at all, not even a glimpse of salt. Fried rice completely plain and tasted just like white steam rice. Egg roll tasted nothing, and the Mandarin Chicken was 100% no flavor. I grew up in the area and have driven by this place 72627472x, but today was the first time I actually ordered something from here. Simply put, it just seems like an average, family-run Asian (Chinese lol) restaurant. The fried rice was solid, but the chicken itself was... an interesting texture lol. My dad even had to ask me "what is this? Is it fish?" The general tso's chicken had a nice flavor to it and most pieces had that delicious crisp to its breading that you hope for. The downside again would be... something with the chicken itself hahaha. It was for sure different from the chicken in the fried rice and at least tasted more like chicken but idk. Warm, friendly family owned business. Love the Almond Fried Chicken, hot and sour soup is the best I have tasted.

We ordered takeout and they do not offer in-house delivery, but pickup time was quick and friendly. The sticky buns weren't for me, but other people in the house enjoyed the soft and doughy texture. The noodle and rice dishes were great as usual, but the chicken was a bit dry inside the fried breading. They do have dine-in seating available but it's small tables and chairs lining the window walls, casual and friendly atmosphere though and a lovely, local small business! read more

We tried a wide variety of dishes and everything was outstanding: Chicken Ho Fun (ask for medium spicy at the owner's suggestion -- she shared it's her comfort food and something she'd happily eat every day. A light, healthy option and my new go-to Pad Thai Hot & Sour Soup -- one of the best I've ever had Egg Drop Soup -- also one of the best, and perfect if you need something gentle (this is actually how I discovered the restaurant) Kung Pao Chicken (ordered to go for dinner because we couldn't stop ordering!) Great for a later in the night dinner!!! Came here at 9:30pm on Friday with a group of 9 hoping to get in good Chinese food after a football game. Our server was so sweet and the staff was great. Kitchen got our food out in good time and the food tasted pretty good for a mid level price. Saw some people come in to deliver food as well so it seems like business is doing pretty good. I don't understand why reviews are so high for this place. Their food has the bare minimum of ingredients, meaning it is mostly bok choi and bean sprouts. Their chow mein does not have the usual water chestnuts, etc. Just what i listed above. Their phad thai is awful. Does not come with the customary scrambled egg or crushed peanuts, and no peanut sauce, no chopped scallions. Ordered from Uber Eats. Disappointed and depressed is the tip of the iceberg of how I feel. The broccoli beef was awful, mushy, and had a disturbing lack of broccoli. The orange beef was a scientific miracle. We tried making it less bland by using the provided soy sauce. However, we then discovered the soy sauce was water-flavored. Then we tried spicing it up with our own soy sauce and seasonings. However, after tasting it we discovered no noticeable difference in flavor. Somehow the meat soaked up an absurd amount of soy sauce and there was no noticeable difference. We thought we had COVID for a moment, but we tried the soy sauce separately and realized it masks any and all flavor--truly a scientific miracle. read more

The flavor was very light but the texture was ok. Fried rice: this is more like soy sauce fried rice but bland. Some kind of special stir fry filled with a variety of protein and veggies. A constant in foods we order off of Uber. Everything is good, but not much has wowed me. Finally writing it down, so I don't forget which restaurant has my favorite Chinese food nearby. The Orange Chicken has been a solid go-to, but the lack of sweet and sour pork is rather saddening. The chow mein is only a few steps above Panda Express, but what little you get of the beef inside a sea of veggies is really good. The best thing we've tried so far has been the spring rolls, absolutely delicious. I'll keep coming back to try dishes, because there hasn't been anything we completely haven't liked, it just hasn't been our favorite. A solid place to go to though. read more

We ordered the Combination 2 (soup, sweet and sour chicken, spring roll, broccoli with beef, and BBQ pork fried rice) and Combination 3 (soup, sweet and sour chicken, spring roll, Mongolian beef, and BBQ pork fried rice) and the food was amazing. After ordering the hot and sour soup tonight from China Garden for the first time I can definitely say that it is my favorite soup from the local Chinese food restaurants. I ate more of my meal than I should have, but I couldn't stop eating because it was so tasty. However, it is easy to find and get to and has free parking. The service was not great. We spent a lot of time waiting to be serviced and weren't checked up on regularly. We could see the employees sitting in the back doing their taxes, which wasn't exactly conducive to a dining experience that felt "out of home". The menu covered all of the Americanized dishes you would expect and want. The plating was to some degree exciting. The sauce was good and the vegetables were cut into large pieces. But the meat seemed overcooked and fatty. What's really bothersome was that I ordered fried rice on the side and they brought brown rice, which would have been OK, except it was room temperature, not hot. Then I had to wait over 15 minutes for the check. That's annoying, especially when there were only 2 patrons in the place. Moved away 14 years ago and so missed this place. Found ourselves in the neighborhood and just had to go back. It isn't fancy looking but the people are awesome and the food is excellent. We used to order so often back in the days of landlines for take out over the years we lived nearby that I just had to tell them my name and he'd just say, "Okay, Nate your order will be ready in X minutes". This time we had a small group, so ordered way too much food (but leftovers, woot!). Got the Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Broccoli Beef, and the Honey Walnut Chicken. LOVED them all. Favorite of those for me was the walnut chicken. Wife's fave was the broccoli beef, and the kids loved the orange chicken best. To be honest we were worried it wouldn't live up to the memory, but I can tell you hands down, the food was totally worth driving a bit out of our way for. Very pleasantly surprised with the delivery I got from here today. We had cashew chicken, pork fried rice, general tso's chicken, and a cup of wonton soup. Our order arrived a full 30 minutes quicker than the estimated time. Everything was hot, not greasy, and quite delicious. My only complaint is that the generals chicken was ordered to be spicy, and there wasn't really a hint of spice noted. It had also leaked some of the sauce into the bag which was a bit annoying. Overall, however, I would say this is a solid place to get your delivery or take out from. Husband likes the Mongolian beef. Mainly because it has lots of crispy noodles with it. I was a bit grossed out by my almond chicken because the chicken had a weird texture... almost tough and crunchy? Yuck. The lo mein is dry... which I feel is a weird observation to make, but it is. Close to home and just as good as driving to Seattle when craving really good Chinese food. This place was small, and just off the corner of QFC. I noticed that they have "MSG optional" written on their menu, but honestly who in China Town doesn't cook with MSG?! It makes the food taste great! Another good thing about this place, it's not in China Town.. it's in Lynnwood! Not too fancy but casual. A really cozy place.
