Cozy cafe with a variety of yummy meals. The ice cream is delicious. The cinnamon rolls are some of the best I've ever tasted. Friendly service. Lots of interesting items in the market area while your food is prepared.

Went to this little hidden gem with some friends. The food is fresh and tasty. I had the mac n cheese with bacon.... Yum!! (Thick cut bacon). My husband had the Reuben.. approved!! Our friends had the hamburger and said it was delicious and juicy. You walk in the front door and the menu and counter to order your food and drink is just to the left. After ordering they bring your food to the table. Seating is limited so you can sit inside or outside. Inside there is a small shopping area that sells alot of local goods from food products, like cheese to soap and essential oils. Oh yes and for any Yellowstone fans they sell Four Sixes sauce, rubs and more. I took home some homemade goods, French Silk Pie and a Peanut Butter Rice Crispy treat..... The French silk Pie outta this world. Oh and I forgot our food pics because we were so excited about this place.

Take time to relax with great food and drinks while not forgetting to eat pie at the most comfortable feeling place in Kansas. The in house snacks are scrumdilious too!! Or sit and drink a cold beer. OK, I think I will...

Best steak breakfast burrito I've ever had, hands down. Try it with the house hot sauce. I'd drive out of my way for this place again!

Hidden gem!! The chef does amazing things with simple ingredients. I apologize for showing food after we have been eating it, but I felt strongly that I need to leave a review! atmosphere is quaint, not enough tables in my opinion. Food is five out of five. They also have a Baker on staff. That does very good biscuits that were wonderful and cinnamon rolls were very good. I'll give the baker a 4 out of 5

There's a small restaurant where you can sit and eat and then the other half is a small shopping area with local goods!

I've had several different items and they've each been very good. I usually eat half of what I order and bring the rest home for another meal. It's equally good the second time and is always enough because the portions are always generous. It's just a very nice place to go, relax and have a nice meal. I thoroughly enjoy eating there. I think you will probably enjoy it as much as I do no matter what you order.

Better to try a couple of drinks each time and return to try others. On some days, but not all days, they have bagels with a choice of spreads. If you want food with your drinks, I suggest you call to see if they have bagels on the day you plan to arrive. We were there on a Friday, and they did have bagels. Parking is less of a problem than downtown. There is diagonal parking on the street in front of the bar. Nostalgia Room is best known for its mixed drinks, and deservedly so. But we also tried the two wines on the menu, and we were surprised by how good they were. Non-alcoholic wines are improving in quality and sophistication.

We tried several drinks between the four of us; favorites were the margarita & horsefeather. I've been exploring the burgeoning world of NA cocktails, and what continues to amaze me is the dedication to not just 'replace the alcohol' with sugar or something blasé. Instead, the challenge seems to be to raise the (pardon the pun) bar with complex flavor pairings that entertain the drinker without the 'easy A' of adding alcohol. Out favorite drinks were easily the ones mixed by the bartender, not the canned variety. So even if you're only sober-curious (or doing a sober buddy a favor), NR is entirely worth your time.

Even walking in, we weren't quite sure what to expect. The entrance is small, and you're greeted right away, which was a nice touch. Once inside, it's very dark with deep red lighting--almost like stepping into a cave. It took a moment for our eyes to adjust, but once they did, we immediately felt at ease. The space is cozy and perfectly aligned with its purpose: it's all about the jazz. The service was great--welcoming, attentive, and added to the overall experience without taking away from the music. And the music? Absolutely captivating. It pulls you in and transports you--you can't help but settle into the vibe and just enjoy the moment together. We went on a Monday, so there was plenty of seating, but I noticed there's also a lower level that likely accommodates larger weekend crowds. There's a solid drink menu and a small selection of food, but honestly, this isn't the place you come for a full meal. Come for the drinks, stay for the music, and soak in the atmosphere.
