But today they came out, were here for 5 minutes, all he did was stick an outlet tester in the outlet, said the outlet was fine and charged me $100! I have thought a lot before reviewing this company but I feel I need to do the right thing and not do what this company did. Being dishonest. I paid 1385.00 to relocate a ceiling fan, to remove some Old lights and replaced with recesses lights, hang two pendants lights and Change the outlets in the kitchen. The whole job took about 6 hours. The owner came personally to quote me, I told him all I needed to do and that was change all outdated outlets throughout living room and kitchen. The electrician only changed the kitchen because he was only told about those. Now I have a job that is not completed, a dimmer that is outdated because they chose it and repairs that are insane. I called some people to quote me on the repairs caused by the electrical work and it's almost 3000 yes 3000. If I would have known of the type of damage this was going to create I would have never moved anything and would have waited to hired an honest electrician. I am upset but most of all disappointed. read more

We just had an EV charging outlet added in our garage. Hill Electric did a great job installing/positioning it. Benjamin did the installation, and he minimized the drywall repair required. He also was very meticulous in cleaning up and labeling our breaker box. And, their estimate was 1/2 the cost of another we received. Would give zero stars if I could. We had a set appointment window for a consultation for some work I needed done at my house. He called about 20 min before the window, asking if it was still a good time, and I said it was, but mentioned that I also had another electrician out for a consult. He immediately laughed and said he'd see me soon. Called back about 5 min later, saying he didn't want to come because it seemed like I had someone already in mind and that he wouldn't be able to meet my timeframe (never talked about timeframe yet, since this was just a consultation) I told him I had someone else out for a consult since you cannot get simple quotes online, being that every electrician job may be more in-depth/less in depth than others. I get that they need to come out to inspect the area, but that's why I have multiple appointments to see who is the best person, best price point and good time frame. His unwillingness to even come out is off putting and unprofessional. read more

Poor communication Multiple phone calls that only crested more confusion. Free estimate advertising is a scam in my opinion! As soon as I said that I wanted an estimate, they'll called back and canceled, we're gonna pass on this one". After 3 days with a confirmed appointment!!! They also don't appear to like to do any attic work, but that's just an opinion after answering all the questions and the final result. Mr. Hill responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I did receive a few quotes for my project and his prices were very fair. They installed garage lights for me and a ceiling fan (high ceilings). From start to finish, the whole process took about 3 hours. Highly recommend Hill Electric. Fast response to our email request for service, and was able to schedule a convenient time for electrician to come to our home. We had several heavy bath light fixtures that were pulling away from the wall. Benjamin, our electrician from Hill, explained how the fixtures had been improperly installed. But rather than recommend we tear out the wall and endure an expensive reconstruction of the fixture installation, Benjamin figured out a solution to tighten all 4 of the fixtures using a couple of ingenious ideas. Great company. I needed 1 outlet installed in a closet, they gave me an accurate quote over the phone. They were less than half the price of another company I got a quote from. I was told by the other company they would need to cut drywall and I would have to call a drywall finisher after they left. Hill electric didn't do that, they found another way. Not only cost me less for the electrical work, but I didn't have to pay an additional company to fix the drywall, they left no holes and were done within 45 minutes. Highly recommend. read more
