I had met with Jeff regarding installation of a new electrical outlet in my master bath water closet (to add a new electric toilet seat and had no outlet in that room). I had thought that we discussed the outlet to be behind/ below the toilet so that it could plug in as close as possible. He quoted a cost at $300 to which I agreed. We scheduled a date and time for this to be done and upon his arrival we again discussed the scope of the job. To my surprise I was told that his quote was for the outlet to be on tha same wall as the light switch (which is to the side of the toilet and not behind the toilet in the middle of the wall) THIS meant the cord from the toilet would go from the seat to the side wall and not the rear wall. WHY WOUYLD ANYONE WANT THIS INSTALLATION setup??? For $300 I could drop the electrical from the switch and add the outlet myself. I was amazed that he misunderstood that the outlet was to be on the rear wall where the toilet. I sent him on his way and did not request another quote from him for the other wall location. Still getting quotes from other electricians- it was a waste of my time with this guy I am sorry to say. read more

There is something nice about someone that just feels like a good person. I spent more than I really could afford right now, but I felt like I could trust him and that the work was done right. Definitely felt like I was doing business with the right electrician I had a 240 volt run to a mini split installed. It was about 20' long. He replaced the sub panel that was a 60 amp and put in a 20. He was quick, coming out the next day to look at it and then the following day to do the work. If electricity is involved in a project, I call Jeff. He installed four ceiling fans. He did so quickly and made sure the remotes only operated a single fan since the fans were all the same brand. He even helped me carry the old, heavy fans to my garage. Within a few days I noticed a few squeaks and groans from the fans and contacted Jeff. He quickly made an appointment and diagnosed and fixed the cause of the noise. He graciously checked all fans even though only two produced the most noise. He refused additional payment stating this service was covered by his initial (very reasonable) fee. Jeff is a great electrician, ethical, and he truly cares for his customers. I highly recommend Jeff with Wagner Electric. He showed up on time and was very professional. I needed a ceiling fan installed, but there was no power source from the ceiling wiring. He was able to figure out that the wiring was actually an extension cord that had been cut and was under the carpet in the upstairs bedroom! Seemingly out of nowhere we started to experience intermittent power surges and outages. One even blew the fuses in our air conditioning unit, so before we could repair/replace the a/c we had to get the electrical system in working order. One of our neighbors suggested we give Jeff a call. That maybe the tip of the year! The whole experience was wonderful! Jeff showed up when he said he would, was pleasant and professional and he carefully and methodically sorted through the electrical system until he found the problem. Just superb level of service. Jeff fixed everything that needed fixing (bonding the panel, replacing the pool pump breaker, and tying the spa breakers together) quickly. I'd called another electrician for a quote for these items, and not only did they want to charge significantly more, they wanted to charge me to replace the entire spa breaker rather than trying to locate a breaker tie (a $3 part). Jeff is the best! Needed to have an electrical panel replaced in my condo. Not having an electrician I went to Yelp and read recent reviews and contacted him. Initially, we corresponded by text in which he was able to answer all my questions and concerns getting back to me each time in record speed. This all culminated in setting an appointment for him to do the work. Once arriving yesterday morning he got right to work and had all necessary materials to complete the job. A couple of times throughout the replacement of the electrical panel he called me into area he was working to show me his findings and his progress which I appreciated.
