**Update:** I'm adding this because the photos and call logs can be misleading without context. The first temporary weatherproofing was done so poorly that the tarp came loose (it appeared to have only one main point of attachment/contact to the wall). After that, I had to keep pushing to get the opening properly protected. In our text messages, it appeared Alex was reluctant to come back, and when he finally did, I was charged **$225** for a very short visit (roughly minutes) to re-secure tarp/weatherproofing. In my opinion, that charge felt inflated for the limited work, but at that point my priority was protecting my property from rain, not arguing. My concern was never whether they *eventually* answered calls, it was that I had to repeatedly chase updates and basic documentation and I received inconsistent explanations about permit status along the way. Also, photos showing a "clean" stucco cut do not address the actual customer-impact issues: the opening being left exposed for almost 2 weeks, interior drywall/dust impact, lack of a clear walkthrough, and cleanup left behind. My review is not about whether the lights came back on (they did). It's about the unnecessary stress, poor communication, and how a paying customer was treated throughout the process. read more

I have used Mohr electric a few times. Figured it was time to give them a review. Each experience has been positive. This last time I used them, my father's house was going through a remodel after some water damage. We decided to address some faulty electrical issues at the same time. Mohr electric also helped us upgrade our panel. Even though the hoa can be a pain to deal with they were still fast and efficient. It's much better to pay for this quality service, then, some random that doesn't know what they are doing. read more

I contacted MOHR Electric to repair an electrical problem. I was assured that someone should be a my home between 9AM - 11AM, due to the gentleman busy scheduled he didn't show up until 1:00pm, he conducted his test on what the problem was, unable to solve the problem, and two two other problems were created, my first bathroom vanity lights and our second bathroom light are not working. I was assured by the electrician he would return. I call the company two days ago and a Alex. said he would look into this matter. I would definitely like to solve this matter between us, a third party should not have to get involved in this matter. read more

Yesterday was my 3rd time working with Mohr Electric. I've had 3 great experiences. I like that the owner Alex answers the phone when you call. Very helpful and much appreciated not to be talking to someone who doesn't know anything about electrical. One of their electricians is Herman. I've had the pleasure of working with him all 3 times. Most people go to a nice home and they are not careful. Herman is so careful and so respectful. The last thing I liked was I believe the pricing is fair. Sometimes people quote a price based on your address. Mohr is vet fair no matter where you live. Alex and his team were very professional. We had them install a long run of conduit from the service box in the back of the house to the garage in the front of the house. We had one 50 amp line for our electric car charger, they used the best materials, 6 gauge wire and the very best receptical made just for electric car charging. I waited a while to write this review to see if I would ever get a warranty call back from Alex. After contacting him several times for a go back related to his previous work and getting put off for weeks I gave up on him and called another electrician. Alex's guys spent 10 hours trying to troubleshoot a circuit breaker that kept tripping due to a short. They never found the location of the actual problem. Alex charged my $1,000.00 for a mickey mouse fix that did in fact result in my exterior light not working. Did not notice that the light was not working until ja couple of days later. Called Alex and he told me it would be a week before he could get to it and he would call or text and let me know when he could get to me. After several texts and no scheduled response I gave up. Hired another electrician and he found and repaired the short in about an hour and only cost me $100. I would not use Mohr Electric to change a light bulb again. read more

Alex came out to do some work for us on electric breakers on our house. Unfortunately for some reason the breakers kept jumping and we had outages on part of the house. I have had him come back TWICE, he did not charge us for any of those and in the last visit replaced and repositioned the breakers. He is getting FIVE stars for the service. We had a small job that needed to be done in our bathroom. Wire in a light above the shower stall in the bathroom and replace a couple of lights and install two lights above the sink. When Don arrived to look at and give us an estimate we asked when he might be able to do the work. He replied "later today,or tomorrow, maybe Friday". What?.. Anyway..today went by . Tomorrow went by and no word from Don..So after calling him and finally getting a time he came over and did the job. After he finished we noticed that the housing units on the two lights on the ceiling didn't match. He said he didn't have any on the truck but that he would come back the next day and replace it with one that did match. We also noticed when we went to patch and paint the area that one of the ground wires on the light above the sink was not connected. Other than that the job was completed albeit a little sloppy by an electrician that seemed to be distracted with other tasks or life events. read more

Contacted Mohr Electric to replace outdoor AC circuit breaker that was defective and they quickly responded with same day service to get our AC working during a very hot week in April. Also had them install AC disconnect switch and rewire AC electrical lines to circuit breaker with liquid tight conduit to ensure code compliance. They were professional, timely and did quality work.
